    or I can be naughty and eat the meat in the kitchen and ask them if they can manage the soup without meat.

  3. It depends on whose house you are at the moment..
    If its your husband's house;then you give it to your father cos he is A visitor..after which you explain to your husband..

    If its your father's house;you give to your husband and explain to your father that you served the meat to his visitor/in-law..

    If any of them get angry with the above;then they dont understand what "Hospitality" means..

    Its not always about respect in this aspect!

  8. Since I am not a meat person, I will share it into 2 for both. If it's a rule not to share the meat then I'd give my hubby. Old people don't need much meat, my dad will understand.

  15. Since the questions says husband well i guess it's directed to the women folks. Realistically I would fit my wife if she gives me the only meat in the pot. For what na. He my father in law donated the sperm that helped bring her into this world so he comes first. Afterall I'm not a meat kinda person.

  43. I will give Dad the meat as my father is the visitor here.
    I will explain to hubby and crave his indulgence as I know he will understand: na we we and I will definitely offer to cook more meat before serving my husband if he can wait which I know he will be willing to wait.
    But we need to serve Dad, our visitor first who probably can't wait.
    By the way : am highly favoured by my heartthrob and so am 100% sure he would understand and wouldn't mind at all.
    Infact, hubby very likely to suggest to me to give Dad the meat in such situation without me asking first.
    He is a peaceful man
