EvansGATE -IGP Orders Immediate Promotion Of Policemen Who Arrested The Notorious Kidnapper

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has approved the special promotion of policemen who participated in the arrest of Lagos most wanted kidnapper, Duneme Onwuamadike otherwise known as Evans.

Evans, who is believed to be the richest kidnaper in Nigeria was arrested in Lagos on Saturday, June 10 by policemen while he was on his way out of the country by the Intelligence Response Team (IRT), lead by ACP Abba Kyari.

The IGP, who has been receiving encomiums from the Presidency for the arrest decided to motivate his men to do more exploits.

It was gathered that 35 operatives from the IRT, 11 from the Technical Intelligence Unit (TIU) and one person from the IGP monitoring section, were involved in the elevation.

In a memo signed by the Commissioner of Police in charge of welfare, Posi Ajunwa, 29 sergeants were promoted to rank of Inspector, while three Corporals were promoted to the rank of Sergeant with effect from June 16, 2017.

    1. They should execute Evans immediately to send a message to all other kidnappers out there. Nigeria has become a scary place to live because of kidnapping.

They should have concluded this case and have evans put in his grave before all this excitement. He can still organise a jail break abi don't they watch crime channels on dstv? Who will rescue nigerian police from premature celebrations? They do it all the time.

  7. Immediate promotion for what? NONSENSE.

IF NOT FOR THE WHISTLE BLOWER, DUDE WOULD HAVE BEEN STILL CHILLING IN HIS MAGODO HOME.

POLICE WEY FIT LOSS INSIDE EMPTY ROOM NA POLICE?

Have you people forgotten that those secondary students have been kidnapped for over a month now???? One full month.

You think the kidnappers of those children have not learnt from all the blabbing that Evans and the police have done and fully secured their business.

    No whistle-blower, no nothing.

    Abeggi, NEXT!
