This is great News and we hope this approval will not be in paperwork only...With the Education/poverty is in Nigeria these days at 25 years,some people are yet to get into school and make a meaning of their lives....

There should be age limit too. We don't want a 99yr old president to rule US in the nearest future. We have learnt our lesson.

ReplyDeleteIt only empowers the elite's kids to run. How many Nigerian youths at 25 to 35 have started a career? The Elites just want to transfer power to their kids after they are drunk with it.

ReplyDeleteThis is where copying western countries won't help us. At 25 a western youth has gotten a phd if he/she so wishes or advanced in a career, garnered experienced that are relevant for public office. But at 25, the Nigerian youth is still in the job market with a lot of responsibilities. If given public office, there is no experience and all he will do is looting and pursuit of fantacies!

ReplyDeleteNigeria has a big problem that transcends age limit for public officials... Dino Melaye and Yahaya Bello are youths in their early 40s, what have they done differently?
ReplyDeleteCheck the SUG in universities, the executives have been embezzling funds since 1800.I have not heard any university having surplus after the tenure of each SUG, check all the thieves in government now, they have served in the SUG at one time or the other, that's where they perfect the act of corruption. I am sorry for my country!!! We need an overhaul and complete CHANGE!!!
