To even think I was reading two of his books last week and thinking about his acts in "saworoide" and "agogo ewo". May His soul rest in peace.

orun re oh! Baba agbedgbeyo! Adieu to a giant literary icon! @MRS B,you got it right! oro le yen gbo,eye on dede ba lorule oh.....i fear! for my present yoruba generation and our kids, with the way we shun and reject our primary language ,(i.e. yoruba) making our children learn and communicate with English language only and we are naively proud of such "accomplishments". if care is not taken,at the rate we are going, yoruba language will be a mirage while Hausa,Ibo,etc languages still stand,as they cherish theirs.
