  6. 1: I don't believe some people are born to fail at maths. Some people are born with or were raised well enough into having a propensity for numbers and . Some weren't. With that being said, the former has a distinct advantage in learning mathematics but that in no way means the latter can't learn math, they just don't do it as fast. People who "just can't learn math" are people who were easily scared away from it or found they didn't learn as fast as other people which discouraged them or they found they learned other subjects and had more fun with with other subjects. People who aren't "born with it" just need to work harder and learn to see problems the way other people see problems.

2:500K to talk to an unsmiling cardboard cut-out with the personality of a crushed snail. some people do have more money than sense and not all of them are Americans. But it's for charity so all good I suppose.

3:I need to take classes from this guy.

    1. ...You do realiz we werent all born with Alberts IQ level huh.. If urs is 120 & mine circles around 75-80, placed infront of a chalk with Caprisone & no distraction, even after long "boring" hours i still wouldnt grasp wat you'd most likely assimilate in few minutes, it'd be like water on a shell back... at least id be greatful im literate enough to operate a PC or other device, i dont need to understand the mechanism behind the battery or decode how waves n frequency transmits to the end of the world.

    4. Atheist :my position is that people enjoy excuses. They love making excuses and blaming their own shortcomings on things they percieve as 'out of their control'
but if they admitted that the difference between thriving at tbe subject and their F was not something they couldn't control (innate talent or what-have-you) but something much more ugly (like that they're lazy or inefficient at studying) that would shift their shortcomings onto them. It's much easier for people to believe they've been screwed in a genetic lottery than to believe that they possess the necessary talents but are willfully ignorant or unmotivated. And making your iq much higher than it ever was, It's not impossible .

Pure Nigerian:I was as subtle as possible......in the spirit of Christmas. πŸ˜….

Great lady:great lady just like I wrote πŸ‘†Some people are born with or were raised well enough into having a propensity for numbers and mathematics.

  7. @1, so where do I belongπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ maybe the other side. I dont know if I am the one that hated maths or maths hated me but maths has never been nice to me. It's just seems my head is welcomed to every other subject but blocked to maths. Right from Nursery school, maths had always been a problem for me.
There was a time I did one week fasting for it during my snr waec period. I would remember praying a 15mins prayer after night prep for maths, the way I studied for maths was half the way I studied for other subject and yet, when result came out, the grade was still not impressiveπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

@2, when you become so much of value that having you around would be equalised to digging for a gold.

@3...hmm. How is that possible? Chikito, come and explain pls

    Bae Atheist😍
Anymore welcome, hope ur exams went well

  10. That last point mehn. Spanish people are so lethargic. Perhaps, the ones I worked with, don't lemme generalise. I get so frigging impatient with them . They take their time to do everything. They don't rush, very laid-back. They take a lot of breaks in between work: coffeebreak, lunch breaks lasting more than an hour because of chitchats. Of all the women, the only one seriously proactive in the organisation was German. The good thing about them is the detailed job they do. I've never seen academics so relaxed till I got to Spain. Maybe it's the culture I dunno

  11. Oh well, I guess I'm one of those made for maths. But i dont believe there are people created not to know math, nah. And on the contrary, any course thats not figure inclined bores me. I just keep dozing.

And yes its possible someone stays absent for that long, with salary running. In big organisatioNs with large staff strength, say 15,000. Where the person did not properly resign submitting all documents with proper authorisations, it very possible. His colleagues would know he has gone, and assumed he submitted all documents.

In fact a case happened then where a staff left to an oil company. His salary was running as its automatic, for almost a year. But he didn't draw from it. I guess it was a lapse between the HR and the accounts department..
