Actress Uche Ogbodo Details How She Was Physically Assaulted And Called Names...

Yesterday Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo took to her social media handle to Narrate the Injustice meted out to her by a man whom she claims hit her car and then stabbed her with his car keys...
From the narrative, she is lucky she got out in one piece but questions are left unanswered as asked by her.....

I Am still in Tears 😭😭😭 and Don’t know how to Start Telling The Story of how I was assaulted yesterday Evening at about 5:30pm .. After I left the Disabled home where I went to Share Love and Hope, I drove straight from Ikotun which is almost 3 or 4 hours to the island where I Stay, on getting to the Lekki Toll gate (by oriental hotel) tired and exhausted, the next thing I noticed A Car has impacted with my Car., out of shock I didn’t know what to do, I sat down for almost 30 seconds thinking of how this driver could drive like that.

Before I could come out of my car the driver was already out, shouting saying I bashed his car , I was confused and surprised as well that a man that ran into Me could be shouting at me, trying to intimidate me and making me feel everything was my fault. I went round to the accident side to check the damage the impact made on my car, I saw my light was off and was on the floor and my bumper was pulled off., I looked at his, There was no evident damage to his car.

I went mad with Rage, i said to him “Oga we have to wait here till the Police patrol comes to ascertain who was at fault” but the man said “ Get out of my way you Harlot”, he made to enter his car to flee the scene and I grabbed him, you bashed my car and you are calling me names and at the same time wanting to flee the scene. I held firmly to his shirt since that was the only thing I could do as a woman at that time, but the man entered his Car, started the ignition and driving with me holding on to his shirt, his back tire even Climbed my Feet, thank God I was wearing a Boot that protected me from Getting hurt. And as he was driving away he was winding up his glass squeezing my hands to the door panel, I managed to pull of my hands.

And I went thru the back Window to stop him and he started winding up again, squeezing my hands I was forced to pull off my hands from the Window before he cuts it , in the process the back glass broke and I feel to the floor. Before I could get up, the guy stopped his car ,ran to my own car and Took My bag, My phones I ran after him to collect my bag, this man held my hands and stabbed me Multiple Times with his Keys 🔑.

Verse 2.....
Eventually the police Came and the Man Changed the story and Said he was a military man too that I tried to assault him. Lied blatantly and tried to frame me! This case is now at the police station right now, and from the way the police people are sounding I’m not sure I’m gonna get justice for Assault meted on me. After laying my Complaints They held my Car and said I can’t drive home with my Car and some of them telling me I was lucky that the man is not violent enough, if not I would have been killed and nothing will happen. So I want to Ask Well meaning Nigerians .

1, Why I’m hated So Much for being A Celebrity, are celebrities not humans too? Why nobody’s came forth to settle the hassle when it started out of 500 people that were at the toll gate at the point! They were busy screaming “ it’s that Actress, it’s that Actress, “😭😭😭😭 they watched me being assaulted and only took pics and filmed me for Fun! Am I in the worst profession? My heart is broken , For Myself and My Young Baby who is equally In this Country Nigeria where there is no Hope and no Law to protect Women.

Why am I even Here! This Country is full of Hate and Jealousy! Not A Favorable Place For Women , when it’s A Men Dominated Society where, when a Woman is Assaulted and killed , it’s becomes a Norm! 😭😭😭 We must Speak Up For Justice! WE NEED A CHANGE!

  1. Please i beg us to listen to all sides of the story before we judge. Am sorry but this lady is lying. The case is currently at maroko police station where they would continue from today (monday 29th jan 2018). My colleague was amongh those that involved the police in this case. This actress has just lied here. She bashed someone's car, came down and started hitting the man thinking he was just an ordinary driver, the man was trying to explain to her she kept punching him, went to the second window (at the back) and damaged it in anger, because the driver seeing she was bent on showing herself wound up his glass. The car had a woman passenger in it (who happens to be a lawyer and her children too). The driver is a deeper life member and a sergent too, he made a comment that got everyone surprised , he said ''Madam, i wouldnt touch you as my training forbids me to assault a civilian''. (paraphrased) A senator also talked with this lady and she insulted the woman, the woman made a comment too, ''dont worry you would understand the meaning of what you just did insulting a senator who is trying to make peace seeing you are a lady like me''. (paraphrased) Guys, maroko police station is where the matter is, the DPO has asked her to go and treat herself and also fix the damaged window of the car she spoilt. No need to argue or read shitty stories without confirming, please if you doubt this visit the Maroko police station at Lekki, Oniru side for all the action 9/10am tomorrow. Wanna be actress, no sense of responsibility. No sense of purpose, no sense of identity, no respect for society, always wanting to be seen and heard by force. Note- She drove a ford edge 2008 so we know all the story, not what we see here. *copied

    7. My question is uche said her bumper removed. Bumper is at the back right ?
Was uche reversing at toll gate for she to have caused the accident ?
Because from little I know if your bumper removes that means you were rear ended. Someone hit you from the back. Kindly explain this part anon bcos I don't understand.
Is it also possible that a sane person caused an accident and comes down and starts attacking someone she hit ??? Except uche obodo is now mad o. Which I cant clarify as I don't know her.
Uche you were very wrong to have held on to that mans shirt. I have encounted same at toll gate. Someone hit me and I came out shouting. Next thing he could say is it's only a dent. And I asked him if he can compare his jalopy that has plenty dents to my car. I'm a very clean and cut person I don't like dents on cars plus my car is new. Next thing he could call me is ashawo is it not a man that bought me the car. Me that is married o.
I just cursed him and left the scene. Went home and we used egine oil on that side. Though it Still dented a bit. Not so obvious again.
Uche you should not have held that mans shirt. You should not have struggled with him. What if he dragged you along with the car as your hand was wound in his window and you died. You have a young baby. What if you died. Tops you will use 100k or more to fix the car. Is it worth it? I still sympatize with you though,as a fellow woman.
For the man,I'm not surprised. I already know Nigerian men lack decorum when dealing with women
I won't put the blame on anyone because I don't know the full or real story.
All I know is you don't get physical with anyone no matter the reason. Women don't hit, grab, pull or touch men. Men don't do the same.
Let's learn to settle conflicts without physical altercation.
Nigerian men it's not today they are calling women ashawo. They can see 70yr old women and call ashawo.
Me always have a steady reply for them.
Let's stop letting the fraustration of the country get the best of us.
Until I hear this story I have no verdict.
And if you feel like criticing me,pls do it in a way we know you received home training from your mother and not someone suffering from a mental illness.
Have a wonderful Monday as we all behave civil on this post.
      Thank you

  2. Believe me, when my car is bashed I don't even come down to check the damage. I just continue my journey. People say I have too much money that's why I behave that way. T hats not true. It's simply to avoid stories like this. People have gotten killed and assaulted over what N1k panel beating will solve. I refuse to be part of the statistics. The roads ain't friendly to a woman

  4. Madam you fought with a man not men. You even started the assault by grabbing his shirt. If it was a man that grabbed a soldier's shirt, you think he will be able to type right now? He even tried walking away yet you still held on to shirt. Wetin you think sey e go do? Beg you? Anytime you female yeyebrities have a misunderstanding with a man, you turn it into a war against men and rush to social media whip up sentiments. Yet you want the same men you are bashing to come and save you?

    2. That's why Nigeria is the way it is. The hate and bitterness is just choking. And they think politians are the problem. You see. These politicians that loot and divert funds meant for the people they do that because they don't care about anyone else but themselves and their families they lack empathy and compassion. It doesn't touch den if fulani herdsmen kill a thousand citizens. Sadly it's the same vitreous liquid that runs through all the veins of majority of nigeria. They were all selected from amongst us as random as they come.. Even if she wasn't totally truthful she didn't give herself those injuries on her hands. I remember when mercy's abuse story and pictures came out. The sarcasm and hate that followed amazed me. Some called her prostitute others said she deserved what she got because of whatever perceived reason they had. Only a handful sympathised. The true change Nigeria needs is the change that would come from within everyone of us. Until we really REALLY care about that other person we don't know from Adam and we also don't stand to gain anything from. That's when change would happen.
      Have a nice week everyone

  11. Sorry about your ordeal. Nigeria can be a lawless society where the highly connected always get their way to the detriment of the masses. It's worse when you are a woman. When you try to stand for your right, they call you a harlot or ashewo after assaulting the person.

We are not yet there but someday time will be up for all ill mannered folks who think that being connected is a license to be wicked.

In the meantime before we get there, pls let us always analyse a situation first before we react even if we are right. Most of these so called egoistic men are not normal. Thank God for your life.

I got my pound of flesh, I drove off. So her story may be true

  29. @Yori Yori Princess Loveme Jeje Thank you for your comment, you spoke my mind. How can you speak as if you were there @Anon meanwhile it was someone else side of the story.
See how wicked we Nigerians are to ourselves.

This is not fair, i don't want to know who is at fault, whatever the case might people, we Nigerians are our greatest problem.

How can you see someone being assaulted like this and all we Nigerians could do was bring out our phones and make a video and all. This country is a deep mess, i feel so very sad. When will Nigerians grow to love each other even thou we are from different tribes and ethnic group.

So what she is a celebrity, so what if she is telling the story to suit her, is that enough reason not to apply empathy. Nigerians are just cruel, i can't believe this. Nigerians need HELP!!! Our mindset is so shallow, Jesus! Someone is being assaulted by an opposite sex even if they are of same sex and all you do is sit or stand there laugh, put on your phone make a video, make jest of the situation. This is bad!

I really pray the Nigeria police don't do what we know them for, i just pray she gets justice.

I feel for her so badly even if she is telling her own part of the story doesn't warrant anyone to judge her and make her feel less of a human.

Attitudes like this make people commit suicide.

I'm sorry for Nigerians, that's why when they go outside Nigeria they misbehave, get locked in jail or deported cos Nigerians are badly behaved, Same reason Other countries rate us badly.

  31. An Eye Witness Account
Uche is a blantant lier ... She must be on drugs to have pulled that stunt on Saturday evening ... The man never touched her, as a matter of fact there was no evident damage on her car; an off-white Ford Edge probably a 2008 / 2009 model Lagos Reg Number AKD 837 EW (lieing that her headlamps fell off and her bumper pulled). I have pictures of the two cars in situ Maroko Police station. The question is why didn't she put the picture of the damaged headlight and bumper and post it for us to see. She came out of her car, grabbed the man by his shirt and continued punching him, the guy never raised a finger on her. To free himself, the man began to wind up the driver glass and she went to the back glass, pulled that glass with an unimaginable kind of force that she landed on the tarmac after the glass gave way and that's where she got those blood wounds from (or how do a key now become knife to unleash such harm ... smh). The broken pieces were all over a lady lawyer and her 2 kids that were sitting at the back of the camry. She was even shouting she is a celebrity and would deal with the man.
I approached the police officers and convinced this matter should be transferred to the station as it was having no headway by the roadside which eventually happened and there were 4 witnesses that came alongside to the station to testify. The car is in Maroko police station as we speak. The police at the station even mentioned that from the Ford's paint signature & position of the man's silver Toyota Camry (2006 / 2007 model), she is at fault as the Toyota camry had gone ahead of her before she clattered into his door. She was advised to sort this amicably with the man but she refused and continued ranting and crying. From there they proceeded to request for their statements and the man obliged but she refused to give her statement for over 30 mins saying she is asthmatic, she cannot breathe well, her hands are shaking etc. It was the police woman (Ms. Comfort Ihejiene) who took some verbal statement from her and wrote them down as she was very uncooperative throughout.
It’s so sad to have these kinds of things in this country, yet we are quick to blame people at the helm of affairs for injustice etc. This country will never move forward until we all begin to do the right things, holding ourselves accountable for our actions and deeds. Let's not forget that the people at the top came from the bottom and Nigeria cannot be better than the quality of Nigerians. Let’s team up together and move this country forward.
God bless us all and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Uche agreed to fix the man’s car on one condition that she will take pictures with the soldier (even if he has to wear mufti) because of her “fans”. The sergeant declined a photoshoot session as “aunty Uche” can go ahead and twist this on social media. His suspicion is already playing out now. Later DPO called both parties and said since they have decided to resolve the matter, they should just go and fix their respective cars – Still trying to comprehend that verdict anyways. (Since you said you were at the station – do you deny these facts???)

Still don’t know how Uche got sergeants number, whom she called and was telling him … they should let bygone be bygone and move on. They can be friends bla bla bla. Where she got that number from, your guess can be as good as mine.

Stooping low to cheap blackmail by spewing falsehood over social media in a bid to protect their “celebrity” is testament to mediocrity. Endeavor to strive for excellence and not this kinda cheap PR.

  34. If l didn't know uche ogbodo by reputation, l would probably have sympathized with her. But l am sorry for my opinion is biased.
I am female, incase you are wondering. I had a very bitter experience with uche sometime ago and that experience always always comes to mind whenever uche is involved in a scandal. And boy! Is she always involved in a scandal!
It's a long story but the summary is that l will never forget how uche almost beat up my boss (female too) at a mall where l used to work, after she made payments via pos and came back the next day to claim she was debited twice! Which of course was a lie cus her card was swiped just once and asides that, we also showed her all pos transactions for the said day sent from our bank and the debit on her account occurred just once. Despite all these explanations, uche still requested to see d owner of the mall and she was sent up to do so. My boss still tried to prove to her that our account was credited just once and then pleaded with her to go complain to her own bank. Instead of being civil, uche was outraged and starting raining insults on my boss, calling her names l can't even repeat here. My boss earned my utmost respect that day because she quietly sat down and just watched uche disgrace herself. I had to call security to forcefully remove uche when she made to go physical on my boss.
That day, l said in my heart that uche was a mad dog and that she will eventually get what she deserves in due time. Maybe the due time is now!
So uche ogbodo you can understand why no one came to your rescue because somehow, they must have seen you for who you really are! You say your fatherland, Nigeria is a shithole and you want to run away, that is just to show you how dead you are inside! What you truly need is God! Your character is utterly rotten and the sooner you embark on a complete turnaround via the word of God, the better for you.
