Saturday In House Gists - Unforgettable Fight/Quarrel

Ever been in  fight or quarrel that you cannot forget? How did it happen? How did it end?

I was involved in a fight in high school.....

Our heads were Jammed by other friends and we fell apart...
I was convinced we needed to know who should move out of the way when the other was coming,so i took sand in my two hands and went up to her and asked her to hit sand off one hand if she wanted to fight...she did and my heart skipped a beat...ah don die today was what crossed my mind.

At the Close of school, her crowd and mine followed us to a big field where we were to fight.
When we got there i was bouncing up and down like Evander Hollyfield..They counted and we attacked each other....We beat each other so much that we held unto each other gasping for breathe .....
Both our crowd were disappointed and left one after the other....she left crying and by the time i got home, her mum was there reporting me to my dad for beating her child and I got flogged for giving her Ibadan marks...will never forget.

I was a fighter,if you look for my trouble,we needed to settle it outside oh..I didn't always win and i wonder why i chose that path...LMAO!

Who has a fighting or quarrelling story?

    3. Me too I can't stand quarreling or fighting. If I quarrel with someone I end up feeling bad for days and I'm always the first to apologize. The only person I ever fought with was my elder sister and that was because she didn't allow me walk away when I tried to. She kept saying 'it's either you kill me today or I kill you'. Anyway she ended up with a black eye and I ended up staying at my uncles place for weeks because she swore to either poison my food or strangle me in my sleep. Lol. Until my dad had to travel down to settle us cause it didn't work over the phone.

    1. God I was a fighter, all these brought back memories, I have this best friend I used to enter wahala with enh but on this day she wasn't there.
In primary school there was this girl everyone was scared of, she beats boys like toys, everyone feared her and she loved it... ummi the great, she was always serving one purnishment or the other, one faithful day I closed late from school Cus I picked my baby bro from his school, we were walking home when ummi appeared from no where with insults, she was my senior but I had had enough so i challenged her a fight, whatever got into me I don't know, there were no spectators so she said she would beat me the next day.
Next day came and I couldn't concentrate cus I was really scared so I immediately school closed I was running home when she blocked me... hey you we have an agreement and with 2mins people had gathered with their zobos watching the fight, before I could reply this girl had slapped me and pushed me into one gutter, God! She was ontop of me giving blows, just then, a friend of mine jumped on her from no where, see attack, we beat the hell out of this girl enh, bola was tearing her cloth and I used my teeth to bite her on her shoulder ( I couldn't fight but my bites were out of this world) ummi the great cried out and we got separated by some elderly people. I felt like a champion that day Cus everyone was happy that she was defeated.
The next day we were called by the head mistress who heard the whole story and concluded ummi was at fault and deserved to be purnished even more but when she saw the bite mark ahh, na me chop bulala, the teachers were just looking at me like a vampire, I was even scared of the mark I gave her, but that dint stop me from fighting, stopped in my jss3 cus boys don dey toast me 😉

  4. Hmmm this bring back unpleasant memories, my own is more like a quarrel, Oya read my Story, after writing this I might find the closure I need.
I grew up in a toxic environment, my dad always hitting my mum every day, this man always comes back home drunk and cause a lot of havoc, destroy things, hit mum, hit me and and my bro if we dare to intervene, this thing continued until we became
laughing stock in the neighbourhood, my mum restaurant went down because of continuous blue eyes, police wouldn't do anything because my dad his friends with them, mum not leaving because of us.
So one day I hid a knife in room, lo and behold, dad arrived and asked for food, I served him and immediately he had something to complain about and the beating started, before mum could say anything she was also down, my 6 years old brother was just crying, I ran to the room brought the knife and was screaming I will kill you, this attracted the neighbours and my mum and I and bro went to church to sleep, the following day saw us leaving the beast and relocating to my mum's village, it wasn't easy and I had to drop from school to pick up menial jobs for my brother to continue. Till today I refuse to see the man, how can I forgive someone that is not worth being called a father.? The quarrel is still on..... Sorry for my epistle.

I was a fighter thruout sec school days, I will fight at anywhere even my brothers (I always end up fyting a guy ND I win, yes I win) and I fyt only guys maybe it was Bcos I lived with the guys (I'm d only girl) .. I no go gree o! but I don't attack first but if you mistakenly touch me first I don't care Ow tall or fat or big you can be I will pull you down with all the strength I av but after the fight I always end up regretting it and apologize later coz I go d3y pity d person after the beatings coz I will make sure I deal with you.. Pple are always coming to my house to report me to my mum but my mama av never had to go fyt for me anywhr LOL

the first time I fought a lady was in 100Level.. she was in 200L, we were room mates.. she attacks me at any slightest opportunity just coz am new.. hmm, she will insult me and tell me she will beat me, I will just shake my head and tell her u dare not.. Wa ke!!! Lol
But no.. she wudnt leave my neck, always telling me she will beat me.. she thinks I'm too small for her to beat *hehehe*

so d day of during finally came.. she took a stick to hit me, I retaliated immediately by giving her a very hot unexpected slap.. pounced on her, sat on her stomach.. na nail and slaps I use tear all her face .. then she resulted in biting me, she bit me on my boob's (she do threaten she will).. I retaliated by biting her on her neck (and yeah, my teeth can break bone).. I bit her so hard she had to carry d mark for weeks Lyk a tattoo! by d Tym we were separated, she was carried to the bath and bathed for.. I was there standing receiving blames as usual!

when she came out of the bathroom.. oh my God I pitied her.. her face swollen and her neck carries my teeth mark! I apologized b4 d end of dat day, yeah she forgave me and never messed with me again! she underestimated me!

Ever since then, I stopped any form of physical fyt with anyone! guess agba ti de.. LOl

  6. Had a quarrel/fight with my best friend cum seat partner in secondary school when we were in J. S. S 3.

My best friend was an 'ajebutter'while me I was a proper 'kpakororo'. Everyday, she will cry to school with all manner of assorted biscuits and snacks while Me on the other hand will only come with either 10 Naira or 20naira to buy puff puff.

she didn't use to eat those snacks because according to her she does not like them, so she will end up giving them to me , then me I will stylishly keep my money then use it to buy the puff puff after school on my way home, chai! talk of being greedy. The funny thing is, she will always ask me if I have any money for us to buy 'kwili Kwili'as that was her favourite snack but unfortunately, her parents didn't use to give her money after giving her so many snacks.

One day, I was caught red handed in my selfish mischief. That day I had bought the puff puff as usual and was about munching on them when I heard somebody shouting my name from behind. OMG! my friend was so upset, she Was crying, hiting me and quarreling at the same time.

Instead of me to just jejely carry my selfish self away, I rather started quarreling and fighting back until a small crowd gathered. When the students/people heard the story, come and see abuse and name calling.

That incident put a strain on our friendship till we finished secondary school.i can never forget that quarrel/fight.

Ps: I am one of the most selfless people today.

  7. I remember the fight I had with my class mate then in secondary school.... It was a terrible experience, we were having chemistry practicals in the school lab and our teacher was the strictest of them all in that school, so we were grouped 4 students each to a group.... And we were told that each group should not have similar results or workings of not everyone will be failed and punished and me I was the leader of my group, so we were doing titration when I noticed one girl in my group secretly telling her bf in another group our results and workings, I told her to stop or I report her, she did then as we were moving on, the bf was calling her attention but she was ignoring him and he was trying to stone her with folded paper and it was distracting us and time was not on our side, so I told him loudly from across our work area to behave himself as a gentleman, so everyone said heeeeeey, normal hyping to make it seem like I fooled him 😁... So the noise attracted our strict chemistry uncle who asked what was that and he would punish everyone if they don't talk, so we both were pointed and asked why the noise or end up getting zero for disturbing the peace of the laboratory, bf did not want to talk but me I said sir he was stoning paper across our table and with further quizzing what truly transpired was revealed by me and he was made to submit and leave the laboratory, so after the practical was over we all went to our respective classes, he was in a different arm from mine.... So after school hours... We were all walking home, me and my friends and classmates, just gisting normal Gists and laughing when from behind this guy AKA BF just hit me with a huge plank in my back and I fell to the ground screaming with so much pain ,and immediately my friends rushed him and were about pouncing on him when his own friends attacked my friends, so my classmates were over me on the floor trying to check if I was okay... By then he was pouncing up and down like an agbero saying all sort of nonsense about how I too dey show my‎

  8. Myself and today na today, say make i stand fight say he dare me, I got angry and rushed up from the ground I was with so much anger and jumped like a kick boxer straight at his chest and he fell down, immediately i pounced on him and was hitting him with all I got and everyone was cheering, immediately he turned me over and we were having it at each other blows for blows... My lips were bleeding, his nose was a bit cut, our uniforms all stained with blood, and the whole school and street had surrounded us just enjoying the fight and cheering... Till he tried to grab a bottle and break he was rushed by the street boys and they asked us to go before they take us to thier secretariat and be punished so we went.... And I thought that was it till the next day I arrived a Lil bit late for assembly immediately i was walking into the assembly ground I saw all eyes on me till I got to my line I just saw a teacher approaching me to follow her up to where announcement were made and the whole assembly could watch like a congregation, and they was BF kneeling down... Apparently some students and some good citizens of the country who witnessed the fights went and reported to the owner of the school and he came to over see us being punished and our principal made our chemistry teacher who was the strictest and most baddest teacher with cane ever... Doctore in Spartacus has nothing on him 😂... Was to flog us both 20 on our buttocks... Lieing down on a table.... I said never, and told my chemistry teacher why we fought and he said okay, but I should still lie down for the cane that this is order from above and the owner of school was there, so I protested and protested but bf gallantly went up straight and collected all 20 with just little scream of pain like a man... So I saw it as a challenge that if he can why not....and I climbed the table... And as each stroke touched my buttocks the pain was out of this world but my eyes were fixed at my friends who were telling me with signs to be strong.. It got to 19 and everyone could‎ Hear my gf then 😂 crying and my sister in ss3 was also crying..... That fight between me and him in ss1 was the day I knew I could fight from all the moves o saw in TV and all the beatings my cousins use to give me while growing up.... But till date me and BF have remained cool and still keep in touch‎

  9. My own is quarrel but that's in the past. Menh, then I can quarrel with you for more than one week before my blood will come down. I behave this way then because I can endure and overlook a lot but once I can't take it anymore you won't like it. I have a close friend then. We went to the same primary, secondary and university. I loved her but she knows how to manipulate things.she will give you gist about someone and when trouble starts she will pretend not to be part of it. But the quarrel was when she lied about her mother's health. We contributed for her when she told us that her mother was admitted in the hospital. I later got to know through her younger sister that it was a lie. Moreover, she didn't even give the mother part of the money. Infact, she made me look stupid because I was the one that encouraged people to contribute the money for her.i visited the mother in her location and made sure she was okay. Getting back, I went to her place to understand and know why she lied using her mother's health. She was broke. Omo, I was mad. I gave her the insults of her life that made her neighbors to gather. Every day I will sent messages to her. Visit her place to scream. I went to her business place. I was just angry until she came to beg and apologize. Sadly, the women died of. Diabetes she used to collect money.

  11. I fought very well growing up. If you beat my younger ones i'll confront you and we will fight, be you man or woman. It's not like I was big or really strong, but I had guts, wasn't scared of anyone.

But the fight that broke the camels back, lol,was the one I had with my elder sister, she is two times my senior, three times bigger but I was always talking down on her. She'll tell me "it's better for trailer to jam you than my hand to touch you" I called her bluff. One day my mouth was running as usual, she didn't even beat me...she just sat on me...omg..i thought I was gonna die, I wasn't breathing, no movement. I was struggling to be free from her grip, no way, she kusebi. The worst of it all was that there was no one to separate us. I feigned dead before she left me, I didn't feel my body for 5minutes, was breathing like a lizard that fell down. I couldn't cry but tears were rolling, lay for some minutes, got up, took my bath and slept. The pains continued the next day. That was the last time I fought with anybody.

  12. I remember when we were in primary school and I can't remember what led to the fight but we decided it was going to be a family fight one on one. It was at home on a Saturday or the holidays. Our parents were away. I was the first up. We started fighting I and the younger girl. I gave it my all but she threw me on the ground and sat on me. Lol. The fight was called off she had won. Up next was my elder sister and the elder brother. My sister beat the hell out of the guy and threw him to the ground many times. The guy is a captain in the army now and I'm sure he would deny a girl younger than him beat him mercilessly lol. In the end there was no winner because I didn't win though my sister won. We remained friends with the family. Still can't remember the cause of the fight.

  14. There is this troublesome twin girls in my neighborhood, they had a very big compound and a cashew tree right in front of their house. We always go there to pluck cashew but these girls won't let us except you meet their elder brothers then you can pluck as much as you want, and because of this, we were always fighting. Either the twins with my elder sister or brother.
On this fateful saturday I was on my way to church for choir practice, I wore a white shirt and a skirt made with GABADIN meterial with my favourite GREEN PANT. I meet one of the twin with her friend going to the hospital cos one of their brother was on admission in general hospital, As I walk passed them, the twin made a remark saying "some people be wearing GABADIN that has lost its value and be forming" (mind you, she is older than me and they were two) I turned and told her to mind her business else u will beat her silly (i didnt say we will fight o, I said I will beat her like a child) on hearing that she started shouting "Joe is it me you are talking to like that? Am I your mate? Bla bla bla... U now started calling her friend "Laura help me hold my hand-ker-chief, help me hold it let me deal with his girl" hahaha, I now said throw it away if you are not scared, before you say Jack my ALMIGHTY GREEN PANT was outside o, she wanted to disgrace me but I wasn't bothered, I held unto her weavon with the whole of my strenght and was draging it like I want to pull it off her hair, babe forgot my pant and started shouting for her hair o, everybody was shouting "leave her na, do you want to kill her, leave her else she will die o" whosai, there's no leaving this hair today o, for exposing my GREEN PANT she must cry blood. It took the strenght of a man to loosen my hold on her hair that day.
After the fight I dust my file and skirt and off to my choir practice. She couldn't go to the hospital to see her brother again and he died that evening. That was my last fight and I will never forget it because of her brother that died, he was such a nice and jovial person.

Growing up in a family of four children, I am the 3rd girl and I have a younger bro and two big sisters..we fought a lot(siblings quarrel) and my sisters esp. my immediate elder sis beats me a lot cos I had a really sharp mouth(I reply every insult you dish me).."Am I ur mate" was a usual comment in my house then..it got me angry always; lol... I started using that phrase for my younger bro since he was the only junior I had, I will beat him at every provocation...My dad would tell me to go easy on him cos he's a boy (he had stronger bones and all),I didn't care...When he was about 14,we had a serious quarrel that degenerated into a fight, I thought I could still beat him like before, naso the boy swing me, gave me one upper cut, bent my arm... Chai, I was finished!..I just sat on the floor looking at him like a zombie, I was dazed.. He later apologized and all, but from that day onwards, I chose my fight wisely 😀😀
    PS:He's a man now and i am married too,we're pretty close 😁

  16. Hahaha I will never fight again in my life neither will I separate fights.

I have this neighbor who likes to act like she is older than everyone so I ignore her but, one day she got into trouble with a very rude 19 years old boy and I went to "help".

I went to a party ate and drank too much stout, strolled home and was in the bathroom trying to throw up when i heard someone banging the gate.

" won ti na mi pa oo egbani ( they have beat me help oo)

I quickly rushed out wearing a bum short and a singlet. Saw her at the gate with torn clothes then she mentioned the boys name and told me to help her call her husband then she went back.

I quickly rushed to their door banged it and shouted through the window that they have beat his wife oo. Oga came out with fire in his eyes.

We both went to the scene and the boys mother already locked the gate and she stood there shouting.

My neighbor was crying and cursing and other neighbors were laughing so I got annoyed and went straight to the boy's mother. Immediately I went close she just grabbed me and started squeezing my neck see me see wahala oo I started throwing blows too and before I could say pimm her two daughters came out and joined.

The yeye neighbor I was defending stood there watching nobody came to rescue me. Ok ooo na so abi all the shayo in me just came alive and I vomitted on all of them come see the jollof rice, efo riro, semo plus the stout I drank on them hahahahaha they left me once then I fainted.

Woke up on my couch with pairs of eyes staring and the woman kneeling down praying.

    That day was really funny.

As for my neighbor, she can never change.

  19. During my secondary school days, I had one classmate that was very stubborn and notorious. Her name was Tope, she had this very reserved look, so no teacher suspected a thing, we knew her well and avoided her troubles. One day, very early in the morning when just few of us were in class, she drew our mathematics teacher on the chalkboard, the resemblance was striking with his beard and all. Immediately he came in, he faced the class asking about our assignment, how many of us got it done?, if we didn't he would flog us. While this was going on we weren't listening we kept on having side talks, giggling and laughing because we were comparing him to the drawn picture. He thought we weren't taking him serious, got angry turned around angrily to match to the staff room and get cane. Suddenly, he got glued at the spot! he was staring at himself. He shouted, what is this? who did this? the whole class went quiet. He stormed outside and went to the principal's office to report. Tope went to the front of the class to mimick the teacher and said anyone that tells on her is a dead meat. A girl stood up and said she was going to tell on her as she can't suffer for another person's act. As she was about getting to the door, Tope ran after her and dragged her back, a fight broke in. Some were cheering them on others, stood on the desk screaming 1:0, 2:0, 2:1... Tope tore the girl's uniform to shreds and cut off her bra strap. Unfortunately the breast popped out and she was on a small size, it was padded bra that she'd been using. We didn't know until then, they started chorusing "agbalumo breast" Tope really beat her black and blue. The teacher came back with the principal with four other tough teachers with several canes and met our class in total disarray. Oh boy! They flogged each of us 6 strokes of the cane and asked us to kneel with our hands spread out in the sun for several hours. Can't forget that incidence, I had to lend her my cardigan to cover up

  20. I'm writing this for the fun and not for the money..
When I got admission into JSS1, I noticed most of my class mate were Ajebota and me was a core Ajepkako, I became a bully over night, terrorising all my class mate, especially the ones on the same sit with me. You dare not eat your lunch without inviting me, I was also collecting money from them until one day i crossed my boundary. ifeanyi was omo Igbo "aje okuta ma mu omi" village boy that can farm, very loyal to me but I decided to disgrace my entire self, I didn't know what pushed me to seize his rubber band, he pleaded with me to return them but I refused not knowing I was calling for my own head. He challenged me to a fight in an open arena and whatever it is that was pushing made me to accept the challenge, my people the beating wey I collect that day know get part 2, know be say na just the beating but the humiliation wey follow the beating, the boy beat me like say na teacher beat me, I was crying profusely like a baby, and everyone was laughing at me at the same time singing the praises of ifeanyi. After that day I respected myself to a point where even the most lazy among us "jackson" began to threaten me... #notforthemoney #forfun

  22. I have always been an extremely quiet person who hated trouble with passion and as a result of that I was always seen as a coward, although, I wasn't a coward but I hated marks on my body so I'd rather walk away from a fight than get physical but there was this day that I needed to prove that I wasnt a coward. I was really pushed to the wall that day. I have this younger sis who can be very troublesome when she wants to be and she was the reason I fought that day. We went to a public tap to get water during water scarcity period as our compound water had been disconnected by water works. This woman came from nowhere carrying a very big drum and placed it in front of us. My sis challenged her and she claimed that she was there before us. They both got into a heated argument and the woman said that she was going to beat her up and started chasing my sis all over the place. My sis ran to me and explained what happened and me in my usual peace loving manner was trying to calm the situation. She just faced me and started shouting at me and pointing her finger in my face. I was still speaking English and calming her when she said the magic word... I'll slap you! me? what did I do? At this point, I lost it. I gave her a slap that sent her down and pounced on her. The lines scattered with buckets, kegs and what have you flying everywhere. Dunno how I got her under the tank but the beating was wowful! After we got separated, a very large crowd had gathered and most of them were cheering me...I was known to be a quiet person in the hood so they were really surprised. I became known as someone u don't mess with in the hood after that fight and I loved my new status. I was in js 3 or so then.

  27. So there was this night in secondary school, I think that was in my JS 3,after our night prep, I was trying to iron my uniform before the senior students could finish their prep time and bully us away from the ironing stand. So, I had this classmate who would always challenge me, even over trivial issues. His problem that night was that he must iron before me. So an altercation started, we were just pushing and shoving each other when the senior students came in and saw us in that state. So, they were like since we are challenging each other, we must fight today and have our fill. They took us to their hostel wing drew a small circle around us, and told us to fight. The humiliating part was that they began to bet on who would win. So I was threatened by those who put their stakes on my winning the fight, and so was my classmate too. OMO see fight! Before I knew what was happening, I began to see bright lights from the punches I received, and I was on the floor already, Na so the senior guys that staked on me flogged me to revenge the fight there o. With the ginger I hit the guy so bad, he had black eyes,we fought for hours on end. The worst part was that the fight was divided into rounds like a boxing match. We would have a break of 30 seconds and cubes of sugar would be put in our mouth, so we can regain lost energy, then start again. That was the day I fought and we both were begging them that we were tired, we couldn't even stand to throw punches again. When we stopped fighting cos of lost of strength, they would flog us with belts mercilessly, so we could continue again. After that day, I say I no go fight for my life again, but for where. Still fight go find me come.

  28. Lol. I fought pretty well when I was in sec school. But the one I'd never forget was the last fight.

We had bullies when we were in sch but one of them was the most brutal. He will kick, scratch and hit u anywhere. Those beaten would run to the sch authorities to report, but nothing would happen. Then he would jeer and laugh the hell out of u. But on that fateful day, we (I and some girls) were supposed to sweep their class. As per junior and senior things. They were one year ahead of us. As I bent down to sweep, I felt a strong hand grip me from behind. As I turned to look, behold, it was this naughty guy. I just pushed him away and continued what I was doing. That was how dude gave me one heavy punch on my back o. Kai, I saw heaven. I turned and gave him a dirty slap. That was how the fight started. We fought till I broke his head with a piece of wood. Come and see blood. I just took my bag and ran home leaving him at the mercy of the other students.
Later that day, I was pounding fufu in d kitchen when I started hearing noises. I stopped to listen. 'where's ur daughter? Look what she did to my son! I peeped from a small cracked hole, and saw that Dude had heavy bandage on his head, he was also with his mom and 2 police men. Hian? Police! That was how I quietly jumped out of the window and hid myself in d bush. The police men searched our house, turned everything upside down, when they couldn't find me, they attempted to take my grand dad. But his mom refused. After the whole drama, my grannies paid for his treatment and that's how they left.

That was the end of it all. Dude never bullied anyone till we left sch. Me, I stopped fighting o.

  29. I remember when I was in primary school and I have a friend whom we are bare the same name (namesake), we usually join hand to do mischief and many times we do go away with our crazy attitudes. Then there was a time we both joined hand to beat a senior, as we were fighting some students came over and said what we were doing was wrong as we were having the upper hand. They then ask us to fight her one by one, me knowing that I am such a lazy girl and I can't overpower the girl claimed that we have to fight on separate days. They all agreed and asked my friend to fight the girl that day and I will fight the next day, then it was agreed that we would go outside the gate to one field people do play ball to fight(government school parole) they bought fought when we closed and there was no winner, when I got home I feigned sickness and didn't go to school the next day, I then connived with my brother to come to our class and tell our teacher on the third day that I have ogbanje spirit in me and if the teacher or anybody beats me I will die. That was how I was able to overcome not fighting the girl and I stopped doing gragra with that my friend.

So this day came, their was no water in the tank so I needed to go get some outside. Just got into the compound with bucket of water on my head, when this babe attacked me again, I had started begging her to spare me when my aunts came from behind and threatened not to feed me again if I don't beat ogochukwu!! Choi, that was how I dropped my bucket, I guess that food part boosted my morale, grabbed ogoo, and gave her the beating of her life!!! Her friends n cousins were hailing me.

  31. Oh! Can remember one incident like that
In my school the hostel representative has the liberty to choose any room in an hostel that she wanted Manually. So as usual I think in year 2013 the hostel rep. Was asked to choose a room of her choice .Coincidentally an 100 level girl was given the same room online. The hostel rep. Resumed before the 100 level girl, she has already arranged her load neatly inside the cupboard and under the bunk .The 100 level girl resumed like a week after, entered her room (Room .p3) and She was like who is using her place ,d place she paid for ,blablabla
To cut the long story short the arquement led to a big fight between the hostel Rep and the 100level girl that the hostel manager and the portress has to be summoned. When the hostel manager got there he met them almost naked,he had to go back to his office and allow the portress to settle the fight
The hostel rep had to be removed as the hostel rep then cause the hostel management said she is not representing the hostel well and the girl was given another room.

  32. I have always been the lazy type. I have sharp mouth but cannot fight.
One incident happened that I can never forget. It made me to tame my sharp mouth except on rare occasions.

I was out of secondary school searching for admission. We had neighbours from different parts of the country in our compound. The most troublesome ones among them were the Ebiras from Kogi state and Bini from Edo State. They were always looking for who to pick a fight with and flared up at any little disagreement. So I had planned to use mouth and finish any one of them that crosses my path.
One day, I was coming out of my room when I bumped on this Hassanat Ebira girl. I told her sorry, she asked if I was blind, I asked her if she was mad for walking like a mad woman in the corridor (mistake). The next thing I heard was a hot slap. She didn't even give me the chance to wash her well with my mouth before the main fight. I was caught unawares. Before I could recover from the slap and retaliate, she landed me another one and followed with blows. I was on the floor in minutes. She then dragged me on the floor from the corridor to outside the compound where some women separated us.
My blouse was torn and my breasts were outside. They covered me with wrapper and took me inside. I cried as my legs were bruised, my mouth swollen and bleeding, my eyes black and swollen.
I can never forget that day. I had never been beaten like that ever since. I tied my mouth with rope since then.

  33. I had an aunty (mums' youngest sister) that used to model in those days, she was also an air hostess for one of those local airlines. Hmmm, this my aunty was so pretty, but also very troublesome and stubborn. She was also a street fighter that can give you the embarrassment of your life, anytime and anywhere.
She was almost the same age as my older sister who was a student at Unilag then. You see ehn, if this aunt of mine likes you, she can kill for you.
I will give a few examples.
Example 1: Once, she went visiting my older sister at Unilag (Moremi Hall) but my sister was still at the lecture hall, so she decided to hang around by waiting in someone's room. As she was waiting, she overhead some girls in the room talking about one of my sister's friends that she loves so much and she immediately challenged them.
Before anyone could say Jack Robinson, fight don start! The fight was so bloody that security men had to be called in. As she wasn't a student of the school, they had to let her go , but not before destroying almost everything in the room. Chai, the embarrassment was too much for my sister and she had to resort to travelling from home everyday.
Example 2: Her school daughter from secondary school squatted me in my 1st year at Ekpoma. The girl told me some things that she did when they were in school back in the days. Omo men, na so I go carry my big mouth tell this aunty when I reach Lagos, only for her to threaten that she would come to Ekpoma to give the girl the beating of her life, and she did!
My people, this my aunt travelled all the way to Ekpoma the week after I got back to school and gave her ex school daughter the beating of her life, after which she travelled back to Lagos immediately! Na so I take become homeless!
Should't I have learnt my lesson? No, I did not!
Now to the main Story: She was on the run from her boyfriend whom she had caught with another girl. Now, this guy was a military guy and apparently, she had gone to his house but found him on the bed with another girl. Instead of leaving quietly like any normal person would, she decided to cause a scene and went ahead to lock the guy up in his house, while she left with his house keys. Upon getting home, she narrated the story to my older sister and another aunty that lives with us and they advised her to go and unlock the door. This door, according to her, is a metal door that will need a welder to cut open. Long story short, she did not go and unlock the door. After about 3 days, the guy came to our house to look for her and upon seeing how mad he was, (he was threatening to bundle everyone to the barracks for punishment), I just told him the truth that she was inside and begged him to be lenient on her.
This action of mine got her so angry that she declared a 7 days war on me! She told me that she would fight me non stop for 7 days and I told her that I was ready for her!
On the 1st day of the fight, I bit into her skin so hard that she was screaming blood! blood!! This now intensified the fight. We fought each other to the extent that we were both almost naked. No one could stop the fight either.
By the 3rd day, I was so tired that I gave up and apologised. For where? She said the fight must last for 7 days o!
On the 4th morning, my body was aching so badly that I could not get up! My aunt came into the bedroom, threw the bed cover away and started shouting that the fight wey we fight yesterday never finish! See me see monkey trouble o!
I forgot to add that before she starts fighting, she will reign curses on you and say things like Ogun kill you, devil make love to you...
That was how she fought me for 7 days straight and no one could do anything about it. I promised myself afterwards that I will never fight again in my life and I have kept to my promise.
She is now married with kids and she is now very very calm. She is also a once in a blue moon BV!

  34. I was in primary 5 wen this incident happened. There was this boy back then in my area, his mother's shop was just in front of our compound although they dont live in the compound. Him and his sister only just come around his mothers shop. And this boy was a woman wrapper. Now i dont joke with my sisters especially wen they come to me crying that someone beat them. I have just two siblings. On this particular day, my younger sister came crying to me from outside that this woman wrapper boy beat her while they were playing. The boy and i are agemates. The moment i saw my sister crying, i sparked. I followed her outside to take me to the boy. The moment i saw the boy, see rushing. na so fight start. I finished this boy. Even his mother beat him cos a girl beat him. And the fact that we were agemates even pained her more. That was the last time the boy entered our compound. once they come to their shop, they remain glued inside it.

  35. In my junior sec days, I was a 'handful' always getting into trouble and I use to fight a lot and incite rebellion against senior students. I had my gang too
This particular fight was in my jss1, there was this sissy that was always bullied by another girl who thinks me her rival, she had her own crew as well.
Back tuen we had our little secret space where we hang out during lunch breaks or manual labor or PE if we don't feel like it, which was almost all the ti
me. One day we were heading there when we heard someone sniffing, on getting close we saw the sissy girl, the type we call 'nwa mummy' we asked her why she was crying and she told us that the other girl and her crew have been taking her lunch, money and water and each time she goes without lunch, she
recently lost her dad then, and she said something like is it not better they kill me so I can join my dad. Chai that word touched me, plus she felt we could help her, no need to fall hand.I mobilized my people and we stormed their own spot, the main gal was not present, but her crew was, the girl's water flask was lying in the sand and they've finished her lunch and was eating something else, we grabbed what was left and told them to inform their madam when she comes back. We gave the girl some of the things we brought back, while still there the girl came with her crew, and there was a standoff, finally we decided to settle we a fight. She for her crew, me for mine.
My best friend' house help was in our class also, though she was way older and was always acting like our mother, trying to keep us away from trouble, she tried to talk me out of the fight, but what will that do to my reputation, I had to.
Time for fight, everyone gathered, we stripped to our underwear, the crowd was cheering. I threw the first punch, she dodged, the next thing I saw here flying kung fu style and that was the last thing I remembered.
I woke up inside the classroom, my friends house help had me in her arms on the floor, I was soaked with water and someone was fanning me. My bestie was crying, she held the girl who was also crying, she was telling her to wake me up, you need to see the relief on their face when they saw mr open my eyes.
We marked territory with that fight, she don't cross me and I don't cross her either, and they left the girl alone after that day.
It was later i got to know from the girl that she attends karate lessons with her brothers at the stadium. That fight was not my last, but it was memorable

  36. Fight was my middle name in primary school but there is this particular fight that I will never forget. It happened when I was in primary 4.

Back then, my mum bought about 5 sets of 'jumper' for me. Ladies of my generation will know 'jumper'. That underwear made with cotton that comes with small fitting shorts, the upper part looks like short singlet but hugs the upper part of the body. I still see it but in different fabric, I don't know what they call it now.
I used to were them underneath my uniform and when it was time for fight, I would remove my uniform and fight wearing only the jumper.
I fought both boys and girls and never lost any until this fateful day.

Biodun and I had a quarrel and after exchanging words in the class, we both threatened to feed one another with sand after closing. We nodded our heads while giving each other scornful looks all through the remaining lesson period.
    Then it was closing time.
Other pupils hailed us and urged us to follow them to the usual fighting spot behind the small gate.

I was confident I would win, after all Biodun was a short boy and I had beaten taller guys. I removed my uniform and we started the fight.
I slapped, punched and kicked Biodun he fell to the ground. People were hailing me and urging me to feed him with sand. One spirit said I should leave him alone but the Devil that wanted to disgrace me that day said I should feed him with sand.
He was still lying on the ground covering his face as a result of shame when I sat on him and started gathering sand. I tried opening his mouth and we started struggling.

Biodun reached for my 'jumper' and tore it. My tiny breasts were exposed and the crowd roared with laughter.

I quickly folded my arms to cover the breasts, I left him alone and started running to the nearest classroom. Biodun was not done with me.

Seeing that I was disarmed, he ran after me, pulled my shorts and tore it. My private part with its short budding hair was revealed to the viewing pleasure of the spectators.

I was naked, I quickly bent over to cover my nakedness. The yeye spectators were just laughing, I can still picture some of them laughing and sitting on the ground.
Some senior boys who were enjoying the whole show did not allow anyone to give me clothes. I almost died of shame.

A teacher who had been alerted by my friends came to my rescue that day.

  37. This happened in my secondary school. Friday's after break was set aside for settling scores, you know how girls can quarrel in secondary schools now. There's this particular girl that came to the school in JS 2 she was a fighter, having issues with almost everyone and she never loses a fight. When she fights she leaves her mark on her opponent, once she fought a girl taller than her and she so beat up the girl that she put the girl in between her legs, held the girls head and was scratching it on the floor, the girls hair came of like it was filled of her head. The girl was a real terror then.

  38. One fight that still linger in my memory is a fight between a couple and an elderly woman.
Mr and Mrs Adi were our next door neighbours when I was in school.
They were always fighting, no week passed by without them fighting so we were used to their fights.
One Sunday morning, they started shouting as usual. We turned deaf ears. Then they came outside and continued cussing. Their two kids were crying.
One elderly woman came out and asked them to go back inside and shout as they were disturbing the peace in the compound. That was how they faced the woman and started cussing her. The woman was mouthed, she gave them back. Before we said jack, Mrs Adi pounced on the Mama and started hitting her. Mr Adi stood at a distance nodding his head in approval. Some guys came out and were blasting Mr Adi for not separating them when Mama overpowered Mrs Adi and started stripping her naked. Seeing this, the husband rushed to separate the fight. Trust guys, they held the man and told him to allow them to keep fighting after all he had been watching them since. They also prevented any other person from separating them.
Mama stripped this woman totally naked. Oh God!
In the presence of other neighbours, her kids and husband. Then they separated them and she entered her house, the boys now released her husband who later involved the police and all.
To me, it was a touching picture seeing a wife and mother being stripped naked like that in the presence of young guys and ladies. They moved out the following month. The shame was too much to bear.
    That is my unforgettable fight.

  41. I hate physical fights but I quarrelled a few times when I was younger. Now I don't quarrel unless pushed to the wall and I run from fights too. Before I used to watch people fight but now, after what I experienced last year, I run very far when I see people fighting.
On that day, I was hawking my snacks peacefully when I saw people gathered. A woman and a man were fighting. I later learnt they were fighting because of gbese. The man, an okada rider was owing the food seller 1,350 for over two months. So the woman saw him passing and blocked him holding his trousers and asking him to pay her. The scuffle resulted in a fight. Instead of me to keep going I waited and watched the fight.
Later, some touts intervened and started beating the man for fighting the woman. Stupid me was still watching even when I saw touts. Then fellow okada riders joined to defend their colleague the debtor and bottles and knives started flying. People started running. That was when I started running too pulling my puff puff plastic container in my hand. When I left the midst of the struggling crowd I discovered that the container felt light. I now looked down my hand only to discover that it is only the handle that I was holding, the main container had been snatched away. I later saw some of the touts passing and eating puff puff. I just sat down at a corner and started crying.
