ReplyDeleteI really love and admire Jaaruma's gusto and business spirit. However, what she did was rebrand and commercialise an old and ancient product(that was a secret shared from our ancestors).
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't have the sole right to commercialising/selling this product either-there's enough room for others! She could stick to ensuring hers stands out and stop giving these other people unnecessary publicity.
It's the same way using charcoal to whiten up teeth and as face masks were old secrets in Africa/Asia. These Caucasians did their research and started selling back to us oxidized/activated charcoal.This doesn't mean they have the sole right to Coal-any Nigerian can still research and bring their own products!
glass is made from sand. how many times have you used the sand to make your own glass? she's intelligent to add other ingredients to actualize the potency. she should stop letting people know the active ingredient of her product. Coca-Cola active ingredient is still locked up in a vault for more than 10 decades; she should stop talking because advanced countries will copy her efforts, advance it better and she will be faced with law suits. they know how to steal people's efforts and make it theirs. you do not have millions to counter-sue.
DeleteYou definitely haven't used the product.it's not a secret per se....if you're from Gombe or Bauchi State then you'll know this. As long as she has no patent rights then she cannot stop anyone legally from also going into this business. It's like someone laying claim to Moringa
