Tonto Dikeh Donates Relief Materials To Prison Inmates

Actress Tonto Dikeh Foundation,visited Suleja Prisons in Niger State yesterday, and donated cash, food items and other relief materials to the prisoners. 
On request by the inmates, she promised to provide Television set, a decoder and ceiling fans for the Christian’s hall of worship in the prison:







She also paid for the release of an inmate who had been in detention because of his inability to meet his bail terms.

The Deputy Controller (DCP) of Suleja Prison, who received the items on behalf of the inmates, urged other Nigerians and NGOs to emulate Tonto's kind gestures....

    1. Linda is it bad to same some money from your uncle shop when u are on holidays. This is people that has never given me money ever since I got admission.
      My immediate younger brother(he is staying with them for 10years now) saw me and was very angry....he told me that he is not happy about it.
      My uncle is very rich but he doesn't care for us even my brother they don't treat him well

      If you are an Igbo,you have to use Igbo sense on him...
      Eg
      If he sells a product for 5k,you can convince a customer to buy it for 5,500 or 6k depending!,.....
      You can pocket your apiriko 1k or 500!...
      Trust me you can be making 10-20k daily depending on his line of business!...
      if he catch you stealing,na bad market ooo and family members and friends would start avoiding you as a “thief” that you are!...
      Nobody would even want to hear the way he maltreat you!...

  24. Why prison inmates? Why NOT less privileges; people that actually needs help. These inmates are serving terms for for various crimes committed against the state. they do NOT deserve mercy. The less privileged at the various orphanages deserve real help

  27. Tonto did good but it is unfortunate that she choose to give to the Prison. It is a noble idea but the Prison Officials will take all that for their personal use. Do you guys remember what happened in the IDP Camps? What ever happens to the food budget for Inmates. The CG of Prisons must be enriching himself with Prison money. It is the responsibility of the government to feed the inmates. Someone should help us ask DCP of Suleija Prison, if, it is the responsibility of celebrities to feed inmates. No shame asking others to emulate Tonto. If you guys divert any of those food items, may it purge you.
