ReplyDeleteHe wasn't deported because naturalized citizens names are written in pencil. He committed the crime before naturalization from what the report says and so he must have lied under perjury while swearing the oath for citizenship. The process is exhausting and it's meant to weed out depraved minds like this but some lie on their applications forgetting "Meghan"s law on sex offenders. It will eventually catch up with them. He wouldn't be a citizen if he hadn't lied and that's why he is being deported. If you are a Nigerian Psychiatrist working in the correctional system you will see the number of naija inmates.
ReplyDeleteIt's disheartening but they don't deport them after they've served their time. Pedophilia or any form of sex offense is however a serious matter. He lied to get his passport else he won't have been naturalized. That is perjury plus pedophilia. It's important to be as straightforward as possible when completing your application for naturalization to avoid committing perjury, which adds to his initial felony.
Meghan's law against sex offenders is taken so seriously that before buying a house it's advisable to go to the site and find out how many registered sex offenders live in your zip code of interest, not just the quality of schools, air quality, demographics etc. Once we found that there was one living within 3 miles, I noticed the moms were very careful to take the kids to the school bus stop and wait for them on the trip back. He perjured to get naturalized and it's another felony on its own. My fear is that he will disappear into Nigeria and molest children unnoticed and some parents may even give their child in marriage to him as we are a nation without databases.
