A 19-year-old boy identified as Junior Omo Shaba has stabbed to death his lover, Matilda Odiri, and left her corpse by the roadside in Edo state.
The deceased, who is 18 years old, was killed yesterday inside her boyfriend’s room during an argument.
The deceased reportedly visited her boyfriend’s house to spend the night when she was stabbed with a knife on her right upper breast around 11pm after she got into a heated argument with her boyfriend after she accused her boyfriend of having affairs with other girls.
The boyfriend reportedly dumped her body by the road side after killing her, to cover his deeds but fled when his father alerted the police.
Police Public Relations Officer in the State, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor, said: “the suspect is currently in custody at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).According to him, it was a case of murder and the suspect would soon be arraigned in court

ReplyDeleteAnd there are some groups encouraging girls to go get it all at such tender age and likewise encouraging the boys to run with the time,we don't instill discipline in our children anymore rather we let social media train our future because of don't judge,don't advise,no religion talk here,for goodness sake why are we not bringing up our children the way we were brought up?societal norms dictates for us now and we as parents seems to be moving with the flow with the exception of some die hard parents who still do things the way it is supposed to be done.We as parents should be blamed for the way our children turned out,no more scolding because we are in the twentieth century,we leave them to behave anyhow and direct them to social media for answers to life questions and suffice to say we start breeding murderers and prostitutes all because we don't want to be judged.

Charity begins from home. After uni, we were given a time limit of 10pm to get home from where ever as long as you stay in dt house. Today it's still difficult for me to stay out beyond 10pm even as a parent myself. Any disciplined child always has a bell ringing within when they get to a danger zone. I know it cant be avoided totally but they can still try. Safety is in God's hands but no use tempting the devil.
