Read the labour room drama you tagged easy like 123 and decided to finally send mine in as it sounded really familiar.....
When i got preggy with my second child i already planned to have cs since the first was already cs and i was OK with the fifteen mins tin plus i no wan labour pain when it can be pulled out easily. Though it was suppose to be an elective cs for me until two week before my Edd and i was told i had PID.
Naso bed rest start o for two weeks.so annoying o.imagine when u are OK and not OK.just on the bed so tiring and frustrating, anyways was discharged to go prepare for my cs as it no longer elective cuz of my condition.
So on the wed the Dr gave me i checked in and ate the whole world before 9 when i couldn't again since i know i wouldn't be eating anytime soon .the morning i was to be wheeled in,i kept insisting i wanted my hubby with me like the first time but they said the hosp stopped it since a man once fainted on seeing his wife ripped open and medical team on surgery had to attend to him again, but they assured me he will be right outside the door.
Time to go in came and hubby came to pet me that was saying nothing jor,its fifteen min and am out .i started crying seriously o even hubby was confused don't know what happened but i cried like a baby o and was inconsolable till i was satisfied and was wheeled in.
Now my drama started when i laid down and noticed one of my legs wasn't numb. i told the Dr and he said i should carried it up and they looked at each other (Dr and the other Dr that injected my back) surprised i could, but said i should not worry that it would, but i was worried as i was 100% numb during my first. they cleaned me and started...
My people from the first cut i was shouting Jesus its paining me, they said i should relax that am not feeling pain but touch,i told them i was but they didn't answer me.
BVs i felt every cut needle pull and all in fact the Dr complained the knife wasn't sharp at some point and asked for another i felt like a chicken or cow being slaughtered. Omo i cried, groaned when i was tired of crying i started saying rubbish.the doctor was busy taking his time to do a good job while i was in pain.
Am not trying to scare people but it was crazy, i didn't even know when the baby was brought out and didn't care felt i was going, was asking for forgiveness thinking of my kids and poor mum at home. You need to see the Dr gisting on me about gotv football and all while i was thinking of death.
Its an experience i never want to re visit again. I was later told i was screaming pains from beginning till the end and when i was wheeled out couldn't place where i was but knew i could hear voices. When i finally woke up as i slept off after i was wheeled out hubby told me i scared him as he even had to call his mum that all he hears from me was am in pains .i asked how long we were in surgery he said 2 hrs i shouted .he said he was really worried as what took 15 mins now 2 hrs and pain scream all through.
Bvs i wont lie to you i wasn't interested in seeing or feeding any baby o was just in too much pain. I later learnt from the next cs patient after me that i screamed so much that she said she was no longer doing that why was i screaming pains, but they told her not to mind me that am lazy.
The next day the Dr that gave me the injection came to greet me telling me he was surprised i wasn't the strong woman i as during my first and i asked him if it was the same 15mins and if i wasn't numb too then.he now tapped me and said he understands that it a different Dr that why it took long as the new gynea likes to take his time but he understand me and he is sorry i wasn't completely numb.
With my last experience don't know what to advice friends to do again as i do tell people cs cuz really it one one for me will rather just do fp jeje before i start seeing moses. My gal is now 4 months and really different from the brother as she is so calm peaceful and gentle unlike egbon who screams to talk to get my attention.those TTC God Will give u all ur own seed too cuz every woman deserves an experience.

ReplyDeleteIf you prefer cs,just let them know when you can still feel the pain. Insist please. I felt the cut, the pull and the needle, unfortunately my mouth was numb. I died and resurrected!!

ReplyDeleteThank God for you
ReplyDeletePlease mention the hospital and doctors Name so that people can avoid those quacks. You may be saving a life.
ReplyDeleteMadam you should have sued and claimed damages! It's your right! why come here to write this? get a lawyer ASAP and do the needful. This is rubbish! You had no business suffering this much! I'm sure you paid heavily for this procedure.
ReplyDeleteThis is just my problem with Nigerians. You'd prefer to complain than get an actual solution/remedy to the situation.
Please get a good lawyer that will fight this for you and ensure that hospital pays for this.
I'm so pissed off!!!
