Good Morning and thank God for today....

On Friday I spoke to BV Stephanie a.k.a Pastors daughter and she sends her greetings and will come back when she has fully recovered,it is by God's grace that she is alive and i want us to thank God for saving her......
Her phone were taken from her because she needed to go off the Internet and recover......THANK YOU LORD.

And to every other person who has not logged on for one reason or the other,I pray God meets you at the point of your needs.

Team natural wey una?I might be leaving the club today as i intend to turn my Afro to soft curls......I get tired of stuff easily and i wanna explore....
When I am done,I will go live on Instagram sometime next week so ya'all can see........Even doppelganger is no longer team natural if i remember correctly............*shinesteeth*

Now to Bambino tales................. I asked one of the Bambino's if he would have a girlfriend and he says ''Of course at the right time'' and i told him I would be really jealous to share his love with any girl and he says ''Mama cool down,I am not jealous sharing you with my Papa, besides i will bring her home and introduce her to everyone and i will not love her more than i love you..Your jealousy is starting too early mama''!!!...*Mouth hanging loose*

Hehehehehehehehehehehehe.....

Have a nice day everyone!

Kisses!

    RSQ
    CHIKITO
    BB
    AND OTHERS.

What is your daily face routine? In the mornings and evenings? My face is darker than the rest of my body! What products do. I need to get for a natural glow?

I am dark skinned and I don't have pimples, but I want a clean face and not a discolored face!

    THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!!!

    2. All these what is your face routine na wash,to have glowing skin, you have to spend, you can't be managing and want a glowing skin, meet skin professional that will test your skin and recommend good products 😎😎😎😎

      Delete
    3. Lol. The reason I do not like answering such questions is that if I do, for thr next few days everyone will be shouting throwing all sorts of skin care questions at 'Chikito' and when she doesnt answer they start insulting their lineage. Too many badly behaved entitled people here.

Anyhoo, before you conclude your face is darker, answer the following questions:
      1. Do you use harsh (acidic) products on your face?
      2. Is your face sensitive?
      3. Do you use the excuse that you are dark skinned to not use sunscreen on your face?

If you use acidic products on a senstive skin and not use sunscreen in your daily routine, your face will be darker than your body. Harsh products that promise a 'quick fix' aren't for everyone, reasons why many have resorted to natural skincare routines. Senstive skin would darken with products that are not for sensitive skin - all those salicylic acid products can work for acne/stripping off excess oils after makeup. but what about how it affects the skin beneath the acne? This is an example.
Use sunscreen!! Ive been using sunscreen for about 10years. I started as a struggling student, so its not a 'big girl' thing. I hadnt even started going abroad when I decided that sun protection was important. I used to use that sebamed 50+ SPF with thick white film. Lol. And be.naked for 30minutes so I dont go out looking like willie-willie (God has been good sha πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ‘) But many babes dont! Even those lighter skinned than me. Then they want to ask you why your colour is 'one' head to toe.

Lastly, any face lightening products should be used AT NIGHT ONLY. Dont try during the day. If you are comfortable enough, please walk into Montaigne place and fix yourself right πŸ‘Œ Clarins is always always bae.

    5. Continuous use and application of Dark N Lovely ORS moisturizer softens the hair. It’s about 1,300-1,500. Apply anytime you leave your hair out. Also, water is also a good moisturizer. Get a spray bottle, pour some water and a few drops of coconut oil and that moisturizer, Shake till it has mixed well then spray.

  11. Last night I went to bed feeling awful. Got home so tired, finished up dinner & served my parents.
I had this small fresh fish stew that I'd intended to make breakfast with, na so I say make I warm am. Turned out to be a big mistake. I forgot it on the gas & went to check on my birds.

I run a small poultry & i was told one of the chicks was missing., that's how I went in search of it around the compound.

People of God, my stew got burnt, the whole kitchen was in smoke. I'd totally forgotten.. I got inside & met everyone coughing, fans working on high speed.. Opened up the kitchen windows & door to let it all out.

Mtchewwww... Stew gone, chick not found.. πŸ˜“πŸ˜“
It's unlike me to forget food on fire. I feel bad.

  13. Sunday Rant
We don't hear men say things like "it's like you're not a father........" but any little discussion, some women will just open their mouth and go "it's like you aren't a mother yet that's why you don't know how it feels xyz xyz........"

Come on! You don't know if the person is a mum, grand mum; and if TTC, why make them feel bad.

If you're a mother, thank God, but don't rub it in people's faces. I'm an "upcoming mother" but there's nothing you wan to tell me about child care and house keeping that I don't already know. I've been taking care of babies since my teenage years.

My eldest sister did her youth service at a time when NYSC officials didn't consider pregnant women. If you're caught, you're sent out, straight up. No I beg. I single handedly managed her baby (a young man now) as my mum, who was busy with the family business, didn't have much time. I cared for the baby, cooked for the family ( mum said it's her time to take kitchen break) studied, kept the house. Boy o boy! How about the babies of family friends I took care of. I did every every. The only thing I haven't done is PUSH. So, I can beat my chest and say, I know how it feels.

Women! women!! women!!! Stop pulling one another down. Be sensitive when speaking/writing, please. It doesn't cost anything at all.

    Blessings!

I used to be one of the people preaching against nanny but situation has humbled me. In fact am seriously looking for a nanny. You don't know what people go through until you walk in their shoes. Your defense no follow cos I have witnessed the both, and I can say they are not the same thing.
When my elder sister brought her 14months old baby to live with us while she traveled to Ondo State for her NYSC,it was not as difficult for me as it is now, because somehow Mum was present to help in certain things.

    5. Hi Cookz😘

Fan Emma, I didn't say it's easy caring for a baby, keeping your job and the home. I'm saying it's a lot of work and if anyone wants to have a nanny, then by all means, go ahead. My sisters had to hire nannies at some point.

All I'm saying is, there are better ways to communicate your point, without making the other person feel bad. This is not only about the nanny post. I've seen those kinds of comments here.

      Cheers!

    7. Ask me why I have fewer female friends? Once a woman feels she has passed you in any womanly activity: child bearing, marriage or even something as silly as having both sexes of children and you having only one.... they will infuse it into the argument or discussion. Men hardly do that!!

My sisters have two boys and two girls each. The one with two boys came home one day very angry. Her last is 8 and the pregnancy was so difficult that everytime I see that boy, i remember Gods favour and mercy. She was adviced to stop and her initial disobedience landed her an ectopic pregnancy that almost took her life. Thats how she rested on childbearing. But on this day a silly friend decided to tell her that she would most likely not he a good mother inlaw because she doesnt have a girl child and 'wont understand how it is to tolerate younger girls until she has one'. What effrontery!! This attitude is very common with Nigerians, even the so-called exposed ones who live abroad.

Anyhoo, in such cases I will give the person back hot hot! When I make that thing that is making your mouth sharp look like rubbish, you can join the long line of haters.

    3. Having both options for the hair is the bomb. I even just recently found out I could gel my hair and fix my weave and it looked good because the only thing I was missing was my ponytail hair style. Now we will be on team natural for a very long time. If you are not feeling it please port. A bit disappointed Doppelganger has ported though but of course it's about the individual. Madam Stella happy soft curling. My hairstylist wanted to trick me into texturing the hair because I wanted gel. Google saved me and my gel (hair wax though ) is still flat after a week.

  19. On that in house gist of yesterday about househelps

Some bvs were scared of househelps because their horsebands would sleep with them.
So I ask, where do you women get these dogbands from?
How on earth would I be scared of my help sleeping with my husband? You women marry dogs as husbands?
Yet you come here and sing of how beautiful and sweet your marriage is, how good your horsebands are treating you, biko what is sweet and beautiful in a man who sleeps around?
You all had better start going for HIV tests every three months cos some of these 'sweet' dogbands of yours are positive and secretly taking antiretroviral drugs

    ReplyDelete
  20. It broke my heart reading mama tee's series about HIV. Meaning there's is no hope at all even if you take your drugs right? I didn't read of any that says they have been living with it for some number of years, all are just dying. So what's the need of taking the drugs if so? One thing again is how do you know how long or when you been infected? I asked my doctor and he was saying there's no way they can know either through test or any other way. My CD count is 737 or so but no viral load they said. How do I know how long this thing has been in my body and how to trace it's root? I've thought of many ranging from foodsellers to salons to everything.
Any idea of how I can know when I got infected? I usually skip my TB drugs most of the times cos I sometimes don't eat in the morning but never skips the ARVs drugs, any negative effect on that?
Does it mean that I won't be allowed to travel out or relocate to other country if the embassy knows I'm positive according to a comment here days ago? Could there be or is there any native cure for HIV that has been used and trusted?

  33. Parents need to be more careful of your actions. It's one things being irresponsible while single, it's another while you're married and have children.
The only thing my dad owes me till date is a towel, yes you heard right. That man is just so irresponsible that way. But my mum, oh Lord bless her for me. She's my world and everything. She would gladly trekk so that we can be satisfied. Little wonder I have this deep resentment for my dad. The other day, my younger sister told him to his face she's not going to take care of him when she's grown. This touched me deep. Why are some men like this? Why get married and give birth when you know you're just going to push everything to your wife? Beats me.

  35. So my husband would be saying there is Alubarika(blessing) in a woman washing her husband's clothes herself. Yimu. Poverty mentality. When we settle down well in this our new location, I will start calling all these women that cash for people to come and be washing for me every Saturday. I cannot be working and caring for kids and also doing house work and washing. When I can afford a washing machine, I will buy one. Lazy man he will cal me to come and boil water for him to bathe with, fetch water for him, etc. He won't lift a finger to do anything and yet he will expect me to join my salary with his own for house keep. Me I don't declare all my income to him, I reserve some to take care of my self, buy multivitamin, make a good hair, send to my mum, etc.

    1. what kind of marriage is this?like u r a slave or so...how can your man send you to fetch water when men are supposed to help out with heavy stuff?why dont u people have water running in the house?this kind of talk makes marriage sound depressing and uninteresting......

When you have to lie to your man about how much you earn then its a problem..what is his business with what u bring home?na wah oh.

    2. I don't know where u people meet these kind of men oh.

Dating someone is when u are supposed to know more about his kind of person and decide if its something u can cope with or not.

Me that is so lazy will now marry someone that will be making me do heavy lifting. Ko jo

    5. My dad has never for once fetched water for the house before. His reason is that, what will outsiders say when the see him fetching water? He even went as far as reporting my mum and we children to his family, pastor and mum's friends that we don't wash his clothes. Some men are like that oh. May I not marry that kind of man in Jesus name .

    6. Eka joy. Marriage is by luck o. Pls pray that your good man dies not change after marriage my dear sister.
This man changed after marriage o. He used to even wash plates for me in the kitchen when we were dating. He did not allow me to lift heavy things. We used to wash our clothes together too or he give his own to dry cleaners.
Now he has turned to something else. Maybe it is frustration of his loss of his former job that was paying fairly well, I don't even know. He now nags and complain, so many things o.
Stella we moved to the house that does not have running water because of our fallen financial status. We now live in a face me I slap you room and fetch water from the well outside. You know it is better that way than coming here to beg for house rent.
As for my income, we join it together to run the house because he is not ok financially, his income alone cannot take care of things in th house.

    8. Working class woman and still washing? When drycleaners are knocking door to door begging for jobs for how much?

If your money is small apply for an advance from your office through imprest. This is 2018.
If you don't have running water, buy plastic booters and book omo odos to assist you. They charge per drum for a token. You wan kill yourself?

Shortest way out of this is arrange with your Doctor to arrange a "no strenuous chores" medical file for you. 2 of you will be lying but God will understand. Her hubby will turn to the hardworker.hahahahaha

    3. After paying bride price, go to registry and do the needful. Then discuss with your pastor, pick one Sunday and let your pastor bless you guys in the presence of the church. End of discussion.

What are you thinking moving "white wedding" till a whole two years? Ha! Please do everything sharp sharp and move on with your life eh.

Abi you want to save enough money to do wedding crusade? Then you go home and drink garri ba?.. Okay o

    4. Try to settle your bride price first to avoid stories that touch.

    5. No matter what you decide, make sure you do registry in case an opportunity to travel out of the country arises.

  50. Good fam, how is the sunday going? Fine i guess.yesterday i suddenly remembered that person that blessed me beyond my imagination during last year santa giveaway. If i can recur vividly, i was unable to post there so i posted on ihn that very day.
Lo and behold i got a message and my santa asked me how much the dresses and the shoes for the girls would go for, i cant really member the amount i gave, 15k or 20k in between. At that time my husband was out of job, my baby has no diaper and my 22k salary hasnt been paid.she sent me 40k .imagine 40k when i received the alert, i busted into tears and laughter at the same time.
Why am i writing about it now? I want you all to please remember this person in your prayer. The Good lord should continue to put smile, happiness, laughter in this person's life for me. May he or she never know sadness in his or her life , May he or she continue to excel beyond imagination. I say a very big thank you.

Good morning lovelies. Sunny cold morning in Eko. Managed to get a cold shower after I was dragged out of bed. I'm effing tired, got back yesterday at dusk after a lonnnng active week.
No church service *covers face* but I'm worshipping on a live transmission. One God!
No strength biko but I'm in spying mode. Gonna search every nook and cranny, watch some videos on fastforward to be sure everything is IN ORDER before they return. Kikiki.

Read the Nanny/Cook post and I'm like what are they on about? Our housekeeper is 8 years on with us, resumes at 6:30am and closes at 7pm but since 2 years when LO and BEHOLD arrived she's been a live-in. She travels every Xmas to the villa all these years with us sef at her own volition. You tell her no space, she'll board a GUO exec bus and land at Nkpor Roundabout or Nkpu ota. Hahahahaha. Call you to come carry her home. Don't ask how much she earns? She's a graduate more like an AU-PAIR. Package is big because she's a small Madam from a sweet agency though her parents are in our church. Her job is only inside, cleaners and others come and go. I CANNOT BE EVERYWHERE. I NO BE MAGICIAN. Person wey be money lender to her relations, kam nukwa! My remaining task is getting her an Igbo husband. Yes o. She wants an Igbo hubby. Hahahahaha. You know why. And please don't pull the *you are sacked* toga, she will roll and wail because she's close, real close to every relation we have and they will start calling.

Blogbrity and Windsor Castle...and many others. Belated birthday wishes to y'all that celebrated. God's blessings always.

Swag La Fresh... It's one year already? Wow. Congratulobia. I know you forgotten but I haven't;your kind offer on that our family missing documents back then, and your little prayers too, how I got the Inu-Umorus to return them. Then how it helped my big sis to fast track her medical career over there. God bless your home.

Stella Kork...on behalf of hashtag readers. *i know something you don't know*. Like seriously? Don't push us to beg you for sweet gist. See shakara o, why are we here? Drop it like it's hot Nne or do we put on our radar? Hun?
    #haabegii

Bambinos... leave these teens alone na haba. Get ready for a heart attack the day you bump into any of them kissing their girlfriend, you go weak. They are yours now but not forever. Their pictures will surely grace bambinos' desktops and gadgets. Will you be their screen saver? BRACE UP!

And errm, I did someone a favor at an Embassy in September and he got a special joint to deliver some 30 mins ago into our home, a TREAT BOX; 5 wraps of burritos and enchiladas each, chicken crunches and fishes in batter, biggest bucket of vanilla and chocolate yummy ice cream, small box of chocolates and a bottle of Rotari Sparkling wine. Hahahahaha.
I didn't EXPERERIT! Today go sweet.

    Happy sunday everyone.
