Sultan Omogbadebo Anifowoshe was apprehended as part of an international investigation into online 'love scams' and 'mystery shopper' schemes that made victims lose at least $2 million (N724million) over the past two years.
The Press Release says
“Sultan Marshal’s Arrest: The True Story.
Our attention has been drawn to the news circulating that Sultan, K1 De Ultimate’s son was arrested alongside five other people in the US over Two million Dollars fraud. There is no doubt that he was among those that were arrested but what is however not true is that he is a fraudster. We can confidently say that he was not in any way involved in the crime, which explains the reason why he was the only person that was released on bail. The bail given to Sultan indicates that he is not involved in the crime; he is only a victim of circumstance who happened to be at a wrong place at a wrong time. Many detractors are quick to celebrate the news because to them, they want to get to the father. But the truth will always shine as light over darkness. Sultan, we believe will be given a clean bill of health.”
HUH?Clean bill of health? get to the Father? This Press release should have stopped at where the highlighted text stopped
You must be joking ,this is not law and order ,your son is into 419 .hmmmmmm jail time.
ReplyDeleteHow do u know. He was arrested. Not convicted
DeleteMokop fi....

ReplyDeleteHmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteSo that young man up there is 26 ??
Wow
Kikikikiki
ReplyDeleteOmo Anifowose.....so K1 is saying it's politically motivwted
Issokay
When it didn't happen in Nigeria.
DeleteAlways blaming others, that's what happens when you are in a political party that blames everyone except themselves .
Like father like son
ReplyDeleteLike father like son
ReplyDeleteYimu!!
ReplyDeleteDouble yimu!
DeleteKati Kati!
Victim of circumstances Eheya...
ReplyDeleteMaybe he was the only one granted bail because he's a US citizen. In this type of case, they won't grant you bail if you are a non-citizen.
ReplyDeleteExactly, granted bail does not mean that he’s innocent. The trial is yet to start, so they need to slow down. If he has record of steady employment with payroll records and he’s able to explain funds in his account, he’ll be good.
DeleteTomorrow na so 1 desperado girl looking for abroad husband will run & follow him. Later she go realize na bad market she jam be that!
ReplyDeleteTo have criminal record abroad is among #1 biggest curses. They can't sponsor their spouses or even stand up to be acknowledged for u for any thing at all.
So many naija fraudsters, drug dealers & crooks all over America & Europe like this with their useless citizenships that amounts to nothing. Ndi uchu!
They've wasted so many girls & women's time & destiny through marriage.
Maybe Stella u need to do stories or blog topic on: abroad palaver issues, deportations etc, crooked marriages & dubious activities of the naija people in Europe & America too.
I’m hollering over here with your comment but it’s so true.
DeleteStella i second this ooo. Things people do abroad ehhhh. People forget about repersussions or curses once they travel. You see man witg wife for naija messing up with someone here because of papers haaa America own na him worse. I know marriages that ended as a result of going to U.S. to marry
ReplyDeleteIt is a bailable offense. That he was bailed doesn't mean he is innocent. The court will decide that. So kwam1 should just shut up in order not to complicate things for the boy.
ReplyDeleteVictim indeed
ReplyDeleteSultan is a victim of circumstances. His bank account was used by one of his "yahoo" friends. K1 has almost 50 children & non of the grown up ones among them has ever been involved in any criminal activities. Sultan Marshall shall come out of this vindicated.
ReplyDeleteAre you aware that he has 7 indicments for different petty crimes alk in 2015. From dribing with a suspended license to possession of a fake id? Do you know that when he was arrested he had a fake British passport on his person? You better shut up if you dont know how America works. All information is available and accessible here. Mscheew.....
DeleteAll you sadists jumping to conclusion. I don't even know the people involved but yes you can be a victim of circumstances. I was on a queue at an ATM when a lady approached me crying. That she has lost her card and needs to withdraw. She wanted to transfer to my account so I will withdraw for her. Na God save me. Because she seemed so distressed I kukuma withdrew without giving her my account number and told her not to worry. Later I heard it is the new format. If she had transferred to me the likelihood that I would be atrested is high because she was likely transferring stolen funds. If I had agreed and was later arrested na so enemies go dey rejoice meanwhile I did nothing wrong. Calm down with the quick condemnation abeg!
ReplyDeleteI understand yours but in this case, this is an operation that lasted 2 years and they have been monitored and tracked before arrests were made. The best case scenario is that he was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time and not involved with them in anyway otherwise jail calls.
