President Buhari And Rev Mbaka In Closed-Door Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met behind closed doors with the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The controversial cleric who had predicted that President Buhari would defeat the then President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 election, arrived the forecourt of the president’s office.

Upon alighting from a BMW car, maroon colour he made straight to the president’s office complex through the security gate.

After sometime, former Senate President, Chief Ken Nnamani also arrived and went straight to the President’s office.

The details of their meeting with President Buhari is yet unknown.

Meanwhile, Mbaka was recently criticized over his outburst in a video where he chastised the Peoples Democratic Party’s vice presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, for not donating money to his congregation.

Although he later apologized to Mr. Obi who had remained calm at the adoration ground despite what was viewed as unwarranted attack from the cleric who had wanted the former Anambra State governor to openly announce his donation to the ministry.

  1. A Kenyan residing in Nigeria since 2012, who is the CEO of a large multinational company an expatriate has this to say about our country and us.
"You see the problem with Nigeria is not just the corruption but the thinking. I am sorry to say, the average Nigerian does not think. They have all the degrees in the world, hold fancy positions, but they do not think."
"In other countries there is corruption, but the people think, so they know how their corrupt actions affect others and the country, in Nigeria, there is no thinking. Corruption is a fundamental human right here. It is the way of life. You people do not even bother to know how it has put you in the situation you are all complaining about, you don't know how it affects you, all you do as though it is second nature is corrupt yourself and others, while ignoring and denigrating anything that was put in place to make your country function."
"Just Ghana there thinks. See their country. See your country. Let me tell you a story. I went to Ghana without a yellow card, the immigration people or is it their health officers at the airport asked for it. I told him I had none. He said I cannot enter the country without one. I begged him o. He said I should find him something, I found him something."
"So, the man went and brought the yellow card, told me to pay the official fee, filled all the relevant documents and then gave me the vaccinations, handed me the yellow card and let me go. But in Nigeria when I came here without yellow card. Your people at the airport told me to find them something. I found them something. They gave me the yellow card and told me to go on my way. I asked them, won't you give me vaccination? They said there is no need. I told them but it is to protect me, to protect you, and protect others in the country. They laughed and said... "Don't worry, God will not allow any bad thing happen."
"You see, they are corrupt and not thinking, they can't relate things or connect dots. They will stay there and complain about everything. Even the thing they are causing themselves, they will complain about it as though it is someone else that caused it."
"You people are saying things are hard in this country. I sit laughing at you. How many expatriates in your country have you seen complaining? I mean people doing legitimate business. They adapt, change strategy, do their work quietly, earn their money and leave. But you people who are used to free easy money will complain when the situation changes and for you to survive, you need to think. It is the thinking that worries you. That is why your president said you are lazy. You are mentally lazy. Even patience is too much of a demand for you. All you want to do is steal government money or profit from someone who has stolen it."
"You are all like a pickpocket at a bus-stop who has been stealing wallets for years and when people start keeping away their wallets and protecting their pockets, he starts complaining - This country is too hard. What is wrong with people? Why would they prevent me from picking their pockets? This is the worst time ever, we should remove the person that told them to protect their pockets - You see the pick pocket feels so entitled to what belongs to others, he does not even accept that what he is doing is wrong and cannot even think deep enough to change his location or even get a job. It is thinking that is your problem. Once you start thinking in this country, you will be great, but until then, it is people like me that will come here and profit from you, while you sit there complaining."

  6. Mbaka has always shown himself to be controversial at all time. This he has always done during the days of Gov. Chimaroke Nnamani and Sullivan Chime. Yesterday he attacked the president and say God has rejected him and today he will say another thing different in support of the same one he condemned. Was that how Samuel behave to Saul when God rejected him(Saul)? Yes I am a Catholic, but truth be told Mbaka isn't helping issues.

    1. Rev Mbaka has the right to support whoever he likes just has some other religious leaders had chosen whom they want few months back. He corrected the president when there was need for it which is what is expected of a true leader.

    2. Yes dear he has the right but shouldn't disturb our peace when things get bad with the people he is now supporting and routing for.

    1. Not at all Princess. Tomorrow he will shout at the adoration ground that Nigerians are suffering under this government bla bla bla. Wasn't he the one who said God has rejected APC and PDP? So what did change about that statement now? Is it all about Peter Obi refusal to make a donation when he was called upon at the adoration ground? What if Obi had given 100m? Would he had not support PDP? Ministers of the gospel should stop taking us for a ride, they are one of the Nigerian problems we are facing today.

    4. I use to like this man very well from afar as a man of God. As I grew older, I have found out his rising is about politics. People got to know him well then during former Enugu State Governor Chimaraoke Nnamani. He went all out to fight that man. There was even a time he said if Chamaraoke win Enugu State next election. He will remove his cassock and seize being a revered Father. Not only did Chimaraoke win that election. He won the senate afterwards. Please Rev. Father. Leave politics alone. So many people still believe in your calling. Face music, business, priesthood and leave politics alone.
