Saturday Breakfast....

Its time for our Breakfast post and this morning my hunger is taking my down memory lane.......

I feel like having hot Akara balls garnished with shrimps....The big,red and dry shrimps...yummy!!!
The Akara balls will go with Custard and Agege bread!!!

Back then i used to be a Mama put addict and got my fix every morning..I used to eat Amala with Gbegiri and ewedu soup with goat meat that has body odour every day..LOL

Note that if you have never tried Amala and the soups that come with it,you are missing one hell of a meal meeeeeeeen....

The Reality now is that i am having Omelet garnished with Veggies,Coffee and brown bread and That's fine but sometimes i want my mama put fix!

Anyone having Mama put rice garnished with Orisirisi this Morning? #Foodie

    1. Ammie please you need to try it. I was a bit hesitant until I got to Lagos and ate amala with assorted meat ewedu. Crazily nice. Make sure you buy from a good buka. Till now I still journey to surulere once in a month or so to buy good amala.

  27. It's a full kitchen over here.
2 people are frying strong ripe plantain, dry peppered and salted potato chips, yam fritata and akara.

Me and 2 others making warm Aioli to sauce it up.
Some are chop as you dey fry. Hahahahaha.
We have orange juice already. Galons. We received Benue oranges during the week.
    No tea today.

*before someone begins to cry over Aioli, only difference between it and Mayonnaise is that you boil garlic then blend it, add powdered curry, add dry pepper then whisk it till it's damn creamy*
    Yummy!
