    1. Ethiopian airline, human cargo airline. Most of their flights Nigeria to Ethiopia and vice versa are always very crappy aircrafts. The ones that go to America will now be good palnes, they know what they are doing.
A family member that used the flight had her seat uprooted from the plane aboard flight at mid air. The seat was just dangling like that until she was asked to use one of the crew members seats. The only thing remaining for them to do is to carry loads and people on the wings of their flights. Always over loaded without limits and that's why most Africans like using them (make we for carry enough load). I knew it was a matter of time.

    2. Please be guided. I have flown with Ethiopian airline, and from my first hand experience, everything you wrote above is false.
I had an enjoyable trip with zero discomfort.
This is an unfortunate incident and we can only pray for the families of passengers involved.

    5. Concerning the plane crash, it's very sad. I have been having terrible feelings about planes crashing. I don't know where it's from. Started since last year. After it Started, a friend was in a plane that almost crashed. Infact, their plane lost touch with the tower 3xs and it was a miracle they survived. This was last year. Next one I heard was Emiliano the footballer and now this.
The devil keeps whispering crap about my trip to Canada which is slated for May, 2019 and how he is planning disaster for me. But I laugh at him because I know I serve the God of the heavens and the earth. What He has planned for me, I haven't even scratched the surface. Nothing can cut me short. The assignment on me is so heavy that no harm can come to me and by extension my loved ones. The great and mighty one. All powerful God. The One that has the whole world in His hands. I just have the urge to post this.
I pray the souls of the departed Rest in Peace. Amen

    7. Same Boeing 737max that crashed in Indonesia in October, there's definitely a flaw from Boeing, and Nigeria just ordered same 737 max 8 plane from Boeing last year o, ummmm God protect us all.

    8. Anon17:23 are you not crazy. We're you aboard the said flight to know that what I said was false? Anon Ethiopian airline PR officers, instead of going to throw away all the coffins you are flying people with, you go online googling about pages that reported your crash to attack negative comments.
Concerning the Boeing 737, did you all not know that the aircraft was blacklisted which was why it is now a cheap article and ya all, including Nigerians went to quickly purchase it immediately. Why will you be purchasing an aircraft that is now being sold at less than 80% actual price. Taaaaa kitikpa lachapu unu Anya there. Make sure you board another one like that. Africans will never take corrections even Is at the expense of other people's lives. It is business as usual.

    9. Who is this dunce? Air Canada, Norwegian, Air Italy, Turkish Airlines, TUI also use Boeing 737 Max. Don’t bring your ignorant thoughts here. These are new Boeing series. Do a research before you chat dust. There is no blacklist.

BTW it’s Were and not We’re.

    10. Anon 15:34 just shut it pls. I have flown Ethiopian airlines atleast 4 times recently and never complained.
If you are buying economy class tickets it's almost the same seat space you get in other airlines.
You sound like you have never even entered an aircraft before. Your aunty said this and that. Make your aunty buy business class nah.
Ethiopian airlines is the most busiest as of today in Africa. I am proud of them. BTW I am Nigerian and i dont work for Ethiopian Air.
Anon 17:34 we should sha know that you are going to Canada. Hope you have you visa sha. Enter ship go there as you are having bad thoughts with planes.😀😀😀

    1. Shut up , brand new plane

    2. Bad aircraft isn't the only cause of plane crashes.
Bird strike is a factor to be put into consideration, considering the time between take off and loss of contact with the control tower.
Bad weather, pilot error, engine failure... Anything could have happened.
Let's wait until search and rescue is concluded.
May God have mercy on everyone of us

  9. Boeing 737 MAX planes are new. Something must be wrong with this model. Similar model of Lion Air that crashed some weeks ago in China.

This airline has been making waves in Africa. What a loss and what a shame.

May God console the families involved. Amen.

    10. Pius Akinsanmi was on the plane as a Canadian. Ambassador Bashua was on the plane with a UN passport. You need exposure to know many people are citizens of other countries along carrying Nigerian passports. Just like our darling @SDK.

  29. This story is super sad and even more frightening to me as i have booked a return flight with them for April to Nigeria!
I Was shocked when i saw the news and overwhelmed with fear(which is normal to every human in such moment)
However, I'm standing on God's covenant with me this year that i shall go and return in peace!! I'm a bit shaken each time i see news about this, but like Shiloh's word for the year "i have dominion over everything!

  34. To the people chasing technology, new is not always better. China has halted all B737s in their fleet. The plane is not well put together. RIP to the dead
