  3. Good morning lovelies and Happy Sunday....

Came across this thought provoking post and feel like sharing.Long post alert.

Some wash their husband's clothes and it works for them. Others don't and amazingly it works for them too.
Some cook for their husband and it works for them. others don't and shockingly, it works for them.
Some are full time house wife and it works perfectly for them. others are not and trust me, it also works for them.

Some know their husband cheats and it works for them. others don't know and don't want to know and it works for them.
Some contribute to the upkeep of their home and it works for them, others don't and it also works for them.
Some are in distance relationship and it works for them, others are in a close relationship and it works for them.
Some sleep in the same room and it works for them, others don't and amazingly it works for them.

Every relationship works and will only work if everybody understands that no two marriages are the same, no two individuals are exactly the same, and no two situations are exactly the same.

Even when the situations are the same, the individuals are not and even if the individuals are the same, the circumstances surrounding those marriages are not the same.

We come online daily and read lots of articles about what people do in their marriage, the one that don't wash is calling the one that washes a slave, the one that washes is calling the one that don't wash bad wife material.

One of the major destruction to 21st century marriage is social media counselors, articles, posts and testimonies.

What works for you? How sure are you that the person you are copying is happy? My dear, you are not mad, you are not a slave, you are not rude for seeking happiness.

One of your major goal is to seek happiness and peace of mind in your marriage, it can only be gotten if you understand that even if your name Is Amaka married to Emeka, you are not the same as Your Amaka neighbor that her husband also bears Emeka. You guys are different and unique in your own ways.

Please while you read things online. Please know what works for you. It might sound stupid to others but provided you have peace of mind and you are happy, please stick to it.

Everybody have their own shares of challenges that comes with marriage and everyone has their different approach to it. If you must copy, know what you are copying, know who you married, know you are different.

Your marriage is not second hand, fake or outdated because you are not doing what people online says they are doing. How sure are you that they are doing it? Some will tell you to quit but they have been enduring for years even when theirs is worst than yours

Please have a mind of your own, know you are different and seek for peace of mind and happiness in your marriage. It all depends on what works for you.

Poverty is a bastard I swear. No body knows the struggle, the days of having little to eat, the way we hustle to make money. They see your appearance and pictures and imagine life is just so sweet and easy for you.

Milani, blk opal, kiss beauty, huda beauty, imam fit me, sleek?

    1. Depends on your skin combination.. if you have an oily /sweaty face you can go for maybelline clear smooth powder, milani anti shine powder they help curb out some shine especially when used with a good face primer..

But if you have a dry skin then you can go for the normal milani, jordana, kiss beauty, zikel, sleek. If you you have pores on your face then you should go for maybelline poreless powder..

So a video made it to Instagram yesterday of two adults performing Coprophilia and when my friend sent it to me. Immediately I saw ‘Dubai’ and viewers discretion, I didn’t bother to see the video. Which reminds me of the post Stella did about some persons who made 100m Naira/AED abi is it dollars for just “hanging out” in Dubai and how she got emails asking for connections. People eat poop for a living honey, are you sure you want in on that?

  36. The person saying that you were scared of daycare, my dear please make sure you research well before putting your baby in any crèche and also pray well because the school my sister first put her 6month old son, on the first day when she went to pick the baby up, she found him sleeping and thought nothing of that but the baby slept through out the night. Even she had to feed him while he was sleeping.
The second day, when she went to pick him up, she met him sleeping and also noticed that all the other children were sleeping and the lady in charge was free so she knew something was very wrong. It turned out that they give sleeping medicine to these children from morning when the parents bring them so they can sleep through out and not disturb. My sister ran and didn’t return again o.
The school was just at the back of her house and her shop was also on their street so she felt it will be better but after that experience, she just jeje dey carry her child o.

  37. Nigerians so love competition. The way women keep popping out babies like it's going out of fashion. Every family wants to have like 4 or 5 kids. Look at that Olori giving birth again. How many kids does that Alafin even have? I'm just tired of this country. Population is increasingly astronomically but people are still busy giving birth indiscriminately. We seriously need birth control laws in this country.

  41. Congratulations Lucile. I'm really happy for you. Mine is here already.

Let me rant small. My hubby has been begging me to forgive everything he's done. I actually don't hold any grudge against him, I'm just tired of footing the bill 98%, if only we could do 70/30% then I'm cool with it. How can only me pay house rent, shop rent, school fees etc... And he's so egoistic, he doesn't allow me take the kids to my church even when I beg him we are having children's program ( he changed church recently and I asked him to give me some time to join him as I'm so engrossed in the church where I worship and he's not having any of that) so I go to church alone.
I was planning on getting a small apartment and just run away with my children by next month to have my peace and sanity.
He blackmail me with the Bible every time, saying I'm not submissive bla bla bla that a wife is suppose to go to her hubby's church. I beg him to be patient with me but no.
People would say, he doesn't beat me but the emotional blackmail is killing me. He only gives 1k for soup once in a week. Sometime I collect it, other times I ask him to just hold his money if he can't add to it. Once I do the latter, he'll just start preaching that God knows he doesn't have. You don't have but you spend money ironing your clothes every week as if you're resuming work in an office. I once asked him to use my car as cab like 3 times a week to raise money for the family and he rebooked me instantly. Let's start laundry business; we have a washing machine, a big shop I rented and pays 200k every year until this year that I refused to pay and he's owing them 1 year rent already, he said not him. advertise your business on social media instead of wasting data on just football and politics matter, No! I'm just tired and confused.
I know he's begging because house rent is due and God has probably reveal to him I want to run away with my children because he won't allow me go with them
