The more audience, the more Brands will seek for you to advertise their products and you get paid. Kim kardashian makes millions from instagram advertising, Funke akindele, and many celebs world wide. Companies have understood that people see their brands online especially Instagram more than tv, that is why Dubai is paying for their trips, samsung, thermocool, peter okoye and banky among the highest instagram advertisers on the male side. So yes, followers matter!
