  3. Yes I do
The worst that could ever happen to you is to have an unsupportive partner. It'd so kill your morale

    1. Exactly. A person's destiny can be shaped or altered by their choice of partners.

    2. Have you also thought about it in this angle that a partner with zero support can propel yoi to greatness. My mum got married with just a waec cert, she suffered all sorts of hardship from my dad and that gingered her to further after having us. Today she has a PhD and is gainfully employed. She wouldn't have gone to school in the first place if my dad was nice and supportive.

    3. She would have gone to school also if your dad was also supportive, cause that's what supportive men do

  6. I have goals and I work hard but I am not ambitious.
    Goes against my spiritual beliefs.
I don't have inordinate desire for power or office and not controlled by ambition but I totally understand her post.

For me, if you are not there to make me better or happier, I have no need for you AT ALL.

    1. Huh? 😂😂😂

If you work hard towards achieving your goals Olivia you are ambitious. The perfect example of being ambitious self.

In fact several examples in religious texts are against unambitious people. Being the lack of an ambition leads to laziness, being a sluggard etc.

On the other hand, Inordinate ambition is a totally different thing that drives people to desperation, covetousness and evil.

      Stay properly woke darling.

    3. Ambitions does not only mean a quest for power or office. The goals you currently have are your ambitions, your aims. The wrong person can stop you from achieving your goals. Period

  13. Yes oh!!!
Not just only for a highly achieving woman. Also for an ambitious man, u must align with a spouse (life partner) who is also ur 10000000% supporter. This is very spiritually deep. Otherwise it is like to put urself in bondage with a witch or wizard. That is very..very suicidal thing to do!
    U better stay alone / remain single...oh!!!

  14. It's all about being on the same wavelength. You need to find someone on your wavelength who is heading in the direction you are going to. Some men will support an ambitious partner, but may not be interested in one that is constantly travelling who he rarely has the opportunity to spend quality time with and bond as a couple. It does not mean he is not supportive of an ambitious woman, it just means that the excessive travelling aspect of her work is not what he wants in a relationship. It is not as black and white as super supportive or no partner. Sometimes the support is there, but the demands of the ambitions is not necessarily what that person wants to put up with at that particular stage of their life. This is why it is extremely important for ppl to be true about who they are from the very beginning. If you want to be a global magnate and will need to dedicate yourself to a 100hr work week, plus be on call on weekends that is something you need to be upfront with your partner about from very early on.
