According to the tweet, the measure was to ensure accountability and transparency of the National Assembly.
This is coming at a time when the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC), Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye, urged the National Assembly to remove the secrecy surrounding its budget for the sake of transparency.

ReplyDeleteWhen the National Assembly is publishing budget details for the Executive, the showcase budget to Kitchen utensils, cars, training and all what not broken down to the details.
At best what this shows is an inkling of how much each Senator earns monthly. They should do better.
