    1. You're right. I stopped watching Nollywood movies because of this. So much nudity, artificiality and a lot of nonsense.

  6. Thomas Mapother Cruise Tom Cruise aka the 'last action hero'
Tom cruise started his career as a romantic actor..on paper he shouldn't work as an action hero but he does..Topgun was the defining movie and he still did mission impossible 5 at 56. He's not the tallest of actors but he's a damn good action hero. I will watch everything Tom Cruise stars in.

Daniel Day Lewis absorbs himself into the roles he plays..he's the definition of method acting..Loved him in gangs of new York especially.

James McAvoy is good.maybe underated.I will watch all his movies

Sam Claflin is my new favourite,Love him in romantic roles especially.I hope he gets to play James Bond someday

My all time favourite Nigerian actor is Sam Dede. I wish he did more movies, but any role I see Sam, I'm blown away by his acting prowess.

I also like NSE Ikpe Etim..she knows how not to cross the thin line between acting and over acting.

Ramsey Noauh, I have seen him play it all, a priest, a playboy, a food seller, a military man etc and he didn't dissapoint, plus he has remained relevant for so many years.

Shawn Faqua, Deyemi Okanlawon, Ade Laoye..I will watch their movies

I believe we have good actors in Nollywood, that can hold their own anywhere in the world, maybe we need bigger budgets and more intense directing.

  8. Genevieve Nnaji any day any time once she's in a movie I'm definitely going to watch . Omari Hardwick is also good, he's one actor I'm always on the lookout for.

  9. In my opinion mofe Duncan is a very weak lead actor, he needs to really go back to learn how to interpret his roles. Only very good directors can bring out the best in him, but with a mediocre director he always falls flat. Let's not confuse good looks for good acting....

And that part where he met his son always makes me cry, he was even asking Jenny if the son was smart and not like him. 😢

Greenmile just makes cry (John Coffey's death. I only could see it twice.
Did you see Cast Away and Philadelphia?

    1. Nicholas Cage in Con Air is breathtaking especially when he told his diabetic friend who got shot that "I'm gonna show God does exist". Keanu Reeves in Speed and John Wick, Jim Cavizzel in Passion of Christ, Robert Knepper(T-bag) Rockmond Dunbar, Rachel Weiss, Chris Tucker, Pat Attah, Liz Benson, Eucharia Anunobi, Antonio Banderas,Clive Owens, Mel Gibson, Helen Mirren, Anthony Hopkins, Viggo Mortensen (Zorro). Nicholas, Keanu and Jim are my favourite 3.

  16. Mr Ibu, Charles Inojie (my favorite). Nkem Owoh sometimes (although he is played out). If they are not there, I am not watching. Nollywood is moving backwards. Useless storylines, bad acting, bad editing, some times low quality videos with annoying sound settings.

I read an article where she admitted she's gay and I'm really pissed.

    One fine woman gone.

  22. When it comes to Nollywood, I'm not really a fan. They seem to be churning out same stories and I just can't seem to get past the "acting", but I respect Nse Nkpe Etim, Bimbo Akintola and Funke Akindele.

Now, Daniel Day Lewis, Kevin Spacey,Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchet, Mahershala Ali, The late Alan Rickman (😢❤❤), Sandra Bullock, Denzel Washington (Seen Fences?),Lena Headey, Charles Dance, Viola Davis, Benedict Cumberbatch, Charlize Theron, Ciaran Hinds.
These people disappear into their roles, you start wondering if that's who they really are. Lol.

See Iwan Rheon of Game Of Thrones.

In another news, looking forward to another episode of GOT!😊😁😁

  32. You see how people are mentioning names of foreign actors. Look at the ratio of hollywood stars mentioned to that of nollywood, then you would understand that our industry is really lacking. These actors take professionalism to the highest level. They deliver roles brilliantly. They know that if they mess up roles, it would be the death of their career. Your talent speaks for you. Not like some of the upcoming actresses who can't act to save their lives
