Jesus actually didn’t publicly shame Mary Magdalene. He instead rehabilitated her and she joined the disciples as a reformed person. I do not condone any sinful act but there are ways to go about this. Sin is sin. Announce they are no longer with the church.

Deletein Mary Magdalene's case, it was a case of injustice. the man involved was not to be published. in this case, the of leviticus 18, forbids it. the same sin that caused distruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
