Na wa. Why sell? Why not put him up for adoption
ReplyDeleteI didn’t read. Let’s b real here , this pple need money. Born sell to person wey no fit born, collect d money , y is it a crime? Abi Mk them pound d pikin for rituals???
DeleteIf they need money, is it somebody else they must sell? Can't they be a male prostitute and the woman a prostitute to make money? Can't they be maids, gate man or woman? House helps, etc.., but no, they chose easy way out. Why must the child be the one to pay for their laziness? Some African parents are so lazy. They will sit home, and send their kids out to hawk on the streets for them. Now, they want to use these kids right from when they are babies. What if the said buyer is going to use the poor baby for rituals?. Must they have kids if they can't cater for them?
DeleteI feel sorry for them..Maybe they are poor to take care of the baby....
ReplyDeleteThis is sad, how do these women sleep please??? Na wa ooo.
ReplyDeleteOnly 9 weeks pregnancy I miscarried and I'm still in pains yet somebody is selling a baby carried to terms.
ReplyDeleteThe woman I'm seeing up there can never be 20. Abeg ooo, easy with the lies grandma. You look 60. Don't tell me it's stress
ReplyDeletePoverty adds to ur age.
DeleteSuffering can make people look older.
DeleteBut why,it might be easy for so many to conceive and birth as many as they want but selling them off for 300k or any amount is wrong. They are not even sure of what life the child will have. What about the guilt of selling the boy.
ReplyDeleteThis saddens me, God where is thy face, me remember me to night.
This is so sad!
ReplyDeleteAs long as they are selling the baby to a legit family and not sex traffickers or slave traders then let them sell the baby in peace. If you abort the baby you are considered a murderer, if you sell the baby you are evil. This is just a scaled down version of surrogacy, while excluding the middleman. If the sale allows them to better themselves and make an easier life for their future children then let use their fertility to get a leg up in life. But it is important that parents going this route for their own research to ensure the best life possible for their child.
ReplyDeleteSelling the baby is their way of adoption, why arrest them?????
ReplyDeleteSo d baby should suffer with them or what???
Please let's be real, selling your own baby is same as adoption(for people that don't understand court system) and it's way better than dumping d child on d road or trash
Poverty is the only thing I see here, poverty can make a person do the unthinkable...plus what is the difference between surrogacy and what this people did, it is the same thing abeg....let me ask do we have a follow up agency that check on the kids acquired through surrogacy in Nigeria?
ReplyDeleteHow are we certain that the people who pay for surrogacy don't do despicable things to the babies once they receive them...pls let them forgive this poor folks, they did it because of poverty and not more.
