May 3rd Is World Press Freedom Day

Today is World Press Freedom Day.

The United Nations General Assembly declared May 3 to be World Press Freedom Day or just World Press Day to raise awareness of the importance of freedom of the press and remind governments of their duty to respect and uphold the right to freedom of expression.

  1. I don't think Nigeria is part of this celebration because we are still living in fear.

  2. Press freedom doesn't exist in this APC Era once they notice that you criticis their corrupt ways they will hunt you and make sure you are sent to jail on frivolous accusations.

  3. Buhari's ears no dey hear this one...those who spoke against his govt were dealt with.. even Reuben Abati has been silenced

  4. This awareness has to be created more. So that people can speak up

  5. We have no press freedom abeg

  6. I thought it's 2nd
