You people should easy with the way you people keep telling people's age like you were the midwife as at the time of their birth.

Agadi you are a liar and I'm here to put it to you. If you were in secondary school in 2001, how the hell are you less than 30 in 2019? Were you 11 years old then?

Linda is 34 this year, she married at 21.

    11. Anybody that read “Hints” and “Heart” magazines should be in their early to late 30’s now. I mean actually read it o, not just saw your older brothers or sisters reading it. I’m 37 and I used to sneak to read it then because my older ones said it was not for my age group.

      Delete
    12. You are correct anonymous 10:2. I started reading 2001 and i was in ss1 then. Hints put me in serious trouble then, was reading it in class when my English teacher walked in and i quickly folded it and put in my pocket didn't know how this man noticed it and removed it without my knowledge. He walks round the class while teaching and when he got to the board to write down something, i looked up and he was holding my magazine, touched my pocket and it was gone ......i died that day 😂 😭 btw i will be 33 next week.

    13. Are you people for real? I will be 28 in June, and I read every fucking bit of hints and hearts magazine. Back to back. Edition for edition. If you people were lacked exposure or limited to literature as kids, please do all of us a favour and shove your ignorance up your asses.

    1. You are correct at "...it made her to start behaving the way she does."

Before my 18th birthady, my sweet mum started accusing me of sleeping with men. Me, men?! Just because I was very vocal and an extrovert then. If you see me in any group of five, three might be boys of my age. She didn't know that reverse was the case, I never got involved in any sex related conversations, aside my biology classes in school...lol.
She kept saying it, over & over, I became more troublesome both at home and school; that people kept talking about my rude attitude....yet I never had any form of sex. But i was badly behaved. The whole thing got to me.

At home, most people preferred my quiet and *homely* sis, she was referred to as the most reserved creature...lol. Then came the bang bang news one hot afternoon...My *John the Beloved* sis was pregnant at..hummm not yet her 18th birthday though. I was devastated because i used to show her off to my friends, and she was everything that I was not...So to speak. But heyyy! it was a tough blow to my sweet mum who became gobsmacked for many years. Ooh well..life goes on.

At the age of 25, i got married & my husband made me a woman. huh? Ooh yeah! He popped the cherry. This was after 3years of higher learning & service to my father land. yeah I finished early.

The day my sweet mum got to know about my Vee being crushed for the first time, she almost fainted, yes she heard it through one of my sanctimonous sis. Do you know why? Cus all those years of accusations, I never countered it. The accusations made me to cry silently at night & to be rude to people and to her, my sweet mum. I yearned for her love but got none.

After hearing about my popped cherry, she apologised for not being a very good mum...say what? No mum, you are the best. Truly she is the best, although she didn't handle certain issues well.

Now, that I have teenagers at home, they are my best friends and my world, I don't go about talking down on them or accusing them unnecessarily, cus I don't want to damage their self worth.

Lesson: Cossy is actually a good girl even till now, but that dog accusation left an indelible mark on her self worth..that's why she behaves the way she does.
I see her becoming a conveyor of the gospel of God one day.

      Hi all...that's my Tory.

Sorry if I wasted your time.

    10. I hate it when some sibling say "I"ll report you to mum/dad or big sis/bro" even at adult stages of their lives.

      What for?

Why don't handle whatever you think your sis or bro did squarely with him or her that running to these old ones to give them heartache and hypertension. Then be regarded as the best while the other is bad-mouthed.

What were you given brain for?

Why were you trained in school?

To resolve matters maturely or create endless line of enemies?

And not as if you they will say thing as it happened...No. They add pepper and salt to fuel the fire.

I experience the same treatment with my big "holynweje" sis. She is still at home with my parents while we, her younger ones whom she criticizes, blackmail and reports endlessly are married and gone out.

  27. Women are very envious beings especially if they feel you have something they don't have which may not necessarily be significant. Most times, it is the fear of you that makes someone you've been kind to when they don't deserve kindness hurt you, especially the snaky, slow poisons. They come as harmless 'friends' but with an agenda to search out and know you so they can sell you, step back and watch as the evil they've done plays out not knowing that although it may take long, the truth always prevails and they would pay for their sins. The thing is these sets of people don't even know they've wronged one because it is in their nature to destroy. I personally know people on this table I helped in ways they should not be helped, denying myself for their personal needs, going out of my way to do what I wouldn't ordinarily do, spending my merger resources only to get back stabbed by the ones who fed over and again from me; by the ones whose shameful secrets I kept, keep and will still keep. Today, I see them and how far they've come in life and I thank God that while the rumours were on, I never uttered a word to deny or agree to it.I know exactly what Cossy means

  28. Hmm na wa.
Me I started reading hints & hearts that my aunty living with us used to buy those years at age 11 in year 2000,& I just finished primary school then, she didn't hide it from us. Even our last born that is 26 now read hints & hearts magazine with us,we usually take turn to read it,she dumps dem after reading and we pack them plenty. It didn't spoil any of us. our last born still married as a virgin. So all you saying anybody that read hits must be in their mid or late 30 ? Don't conclude. I also heard the cossy & dog story,my big sis in boarding school those years used to talk about it.

like play like play, this woman created and perfected this personality and still manages to trend/be relevant in naija entertainment for close to 2 decades.

Even when those in her line of 'work' have all retired or avoid limelight somehow cossyb**bs is still pushing on and being in everyones lips for good or bad.
