We r born and handed a religion by our parents/guardians/society,some of us r strong enough to see d light and break free, others stay to please , while to the others it’s what they met there parents participating
I watched a video some yrs back, I think d guy is Pakistan Muslim but he got really curious which his Alfa cldnt Ans, he decided to seek knowledge and started practicing different religion but stumbled on the scriptures and found out Islam was not for him. Today he preaches Jesus
if I was born in a Cele church or my parents are idol worshipers and I found pure love, this person opens my eyes to the Truth Which is Jesus, of cos I will change.
I found out recently that Praying Rosey, kneeling for long hours, going to FireFireFire church, die by fire kinda prayers don’t work for me, I was lead to a house of worship, purely PRAISE and Worship (COD)and my doors started opening, God started picking my calls, so like I said ๐Ÿ‘†there, I will and I have

  11. I'm actually going through something like this. I'm a Christian and planning to settle down with a Moslem. But we are both based outside Nigeria. This man is everything good looking, very educated, good job, good family and he has an unwavering character, disciplined, caring and very generous. He pushes me to be better and loves me unconditionally but he is a Moslem and a practicising one. While I am Christian. He proposed earlier this year. He doesn't have a problem me going to church. He has even attended service with me couple of times. I have told him I intend to continue to be a Christian cos I know no other ways in my 34yrs. But I am also open to following him if need be to the mosque, even though I know nothing about it. Just to give him moral support. I know he will want his children raised as Moslem because that is all he knows. I will try and incorporate both. I have an aunt who married a Moslem for 40yrs now and she never converted but joins her husband in mosque if need be. And they have been living happy as one.
People may say what they wish but I am not willing to let a good man go over religious difference. So far in our 3yr relationship we have had no issues and both families are aware and are okay with it. It could also be because we are outside Nigeria.

I have a good husband, same tribe, same religion, had sweet courtship and enjoying marriage for 5yrs now. but some issues we had, could have break us if not for God's grace and some same grounds. choose wisely

    Yes/No - to the religion I practise.
There was a certain time I was babbling about how I will never step my foot into a particular church, the story changed when I met my hubby, reluctantly though. I couldnt lose a good man because of his denomination. I wasn't happy attending the church. To God be the glory,my hubby left the church voluntarily few weeks I started attending the church,to say I was happy is an understatement.

He was indifferent. If we going to church, he tags along, when he is around our muslim friends, he also religiously conformed. funny enough, he won't fast during ramadan, he would tell you he is a christian only to see him transform into an alfa๐Ÿ˜ on Salah day. I loved the cordiality but I was worried if he wouldnt transpose into a freethinker later on

region is a language, we just have to speak one. speaking isn't communicating, but a tool for communication. Some think the religion they speak is the only true channel to project God. Yet they still fail at projecting God.

  31. I am in love with the One who loved me first.
I can't leave Him for anything. Or anyone.

I have fallen in love with Him. He's perfect. He's my everything. I love the quiet moments with Him, when I crawl into His arms after a long day. After a difficult time. When I'm crying and He's singing over me and I'm surrounded by Him.

The times I hate myself and I wonder what He sees in ne and He comes and shows me that I am so precious to Him and nothing can take me away from Him and He loves me forever.

The times during worship that He comes and dances with me. Our hands are entwined together and I never want to let go.

The times during studying of His Word that I see Him there, teaching me Himself.

Where would I go, Lord? You alone have the Words of eternal life.

He has my heart, all of it, forever. It's His, to do as He deems fit.

Falling in love with Jesus is the best thing ever. I have told Him that if there's anything that wants to separate us, He should take me first to be with Him, because I cannot live a second without Him.

And as humans, we are naturally curious, therefore d curiosity should extend to religious areas too.

  35. I can't. Had one Muslim friend like that who is everything I wanted in a man. But he's a devoted Muslim and from Osun.I am Igbo and a Christian, we talked about religion and tried to work things around but no way, he's too devoted and kept saying I must change. I was cool with him practising his without trying to change him......I still regret that till today but its better we didn't date. I'm yet to find someone like him though.
