  13. Guys, u see, one must not be a Doctor , Lawyer, Engineer, Accountant etc, to be known all over d world. To think that Chimanda dropped Medicine in year two, for Literary or is it Literal Arts, at Nsukka, against her dad’s wish , beats me. There are hundreds of Doctors & Lawyers in Nigeria, who left school same time with her, that cant find their feet yet , but look at her, no runs, no big-God syndrome , or connections & she’s a known name in almost all d homes in d world. Just imagine what will be going on in her dad’s mind, at d moment. My point is , parents should support & encourage their children in their choice of studies & professions .Kudos ,Amanda.

    1. Plus no gramming for the gram. Brain. And confidence. And guts. First, she used her given talents, then she received the grace for more. And lucky her to have a supportive network of family and friends, not the envious back biting ones. Congratulations dear!!
