Minister's Kidnapped Son Regains Freedom + Driver And Others Arrested

Adedayo Adewole, the son of former Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, has regained his freedom.

Tribune reports that a family source confirmed the development Wednesday evening.

Dayo was kidnapped on Tuesday at about 6m from his farm at Iroko community in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Men of the Nigeria Police Force earlier Wednesday said that  three suspects have been arrested in connection with the abduction.

The three persons that were arrested included the driver that the victim employed few days ago, Mr. Gbenga Ogunleye; the farm manager, Mr. Sodiq Adebayo and another worker in the farm.

Adebayo while narrating the incident, said the kidnappers were four in number and their hooded leader wore military camouflage, while three others did not cover their faces, but only put on black clothes.

How did he regain his freedom?

  4. God indeed is our security. Even the high and mighty are not secured. But those who trust and walk with God, are always protected and delivered from all evil.
You all need Jesus Christ. He is my security.

  5. Praise God he made it out alive and spent less than 24hrs in their custody because of his influential father. The government need to do something fast about the security situation. There are many cases of kidnap we don't hear because they don't have a voice(as in no be minister pickin or government officials relative). God deliver Nigeria
