THURSDAY Spontaneous Post..

#thursdayweatherlooksgoodalready #esgehtwennesgeht #telemundo #bambinotales

Una good Morning my Country people.......

Who wants to hear the Bambino tales today? These kids think that they are too smart oh....
So the Bambinos have two phones each, one expensive one and a very cheap one with no camera, the cheap one is for school cos they have lost so many good phones or it got broken out of playfulness.

I told one of them that they couldn't take the expensive phones to school...............OK nah!
When they were leaving for school,I felt they were too nice and my radar went off but i didn't think towards the phone.......After they had been gone for like ten minutes,i went back upstairs to do police control and all phones i said they should not take were there...........As i was turning an inner voice said ''Stella check the phone cases''..My Country people i did and the phone cases were empty...LMAO!
They had removed the phones and set the cases as if the phones were inside..
I was so shocked that i sat down and started cry-laughing!

They came back from school behaving like Lawyers with strong defence for their case....I am thinking of what punishment best suits their actions.....My Gosh!!!

Dealing with Boys is not an easy task at all at all my Country people!!!

    5. Anon 08:13 and 08:35 just shuush, just shut that gutter you call a mouth. There are so many situations you can't help but wait on the Lord. From your senseless comment, you sound like the wait is all about striving to change ones present state, like pushing to get better career-wise or business or a job.
That comment up there spoke to me because i am waiting on God for a blessing of fruit of the womb. If you have nothing to comment you little devil, just keep it moving. Bye felicia

Sometimes u guys misunderstand someone, waiting on d Lord don't mean u should fold ur hands n wait while doing nothing, u work towards it n let God bless it....if u no bang, belly no go enter, so bang n further your treatment, explore options which is d work n let God crown ur EFFORTS (work) with success.

      Delete
    2. No oh, dont start celebrating oh, its not your monthly salary!

      Delete
    3. It is not your take home salary. All deductions will be made from it eg. Tax, pension, HMO etc. Your take home salary after the deductions may end up at 100-110k depending on their calculation.

Gross salary means your stated salary before deductions.
While net salary is your take home after deductions

    4. Thank you Omajenny, for the response, I also have a question , my office recently increased my salary to 120,000.00, but my take was 103,272, please how good can you explain this to me. they said they deduct tax and pension. I am not understanding. thank you.

      Delete
    5. Make sure they are paying your pension into the pension account you gave them.

    6. Anon 09:26 Congrats on your new job. Still believing God for mine.

      Delete
    7. @ Anon 11:06...They deducted PAYE (tax) and Pension from it before they arrived at 102, 272. You can request for your pay slip so that you can see the details. Secondly, you ought to have a pension account, they will credit your pension account monthly and you will see the amount there. In addition, if you are up to one year in the company, request for your tax payer's ID card. That is an evidence that they remit your tax to the government. Ask questions , It is your right. Go and meet the Accountant in your office.

      Delete
    8. Anonymous 11:06, the 120k is the gross increase in your salary. Apparently 103k is your net salary after the increase.

That is after tax, pension and NHI has been deducted.

However, Make sure your are registered to a pension fund managers, and you receive the monthly alert showing your company pays in the stated amount monthly.

Some companies don't pay it into their staffs pension account after deducting it.

  5. Let me rant here as no one knows me here,
Everyday, i wonder what Nigeria is turning into.
During my NYSC year(2018) i relocated to Anambra State. Due to the aforementioned, my details were not sent to the Anambra state education board alongside my mates (batch A).
When my set received their first bulk state allowance, i didn't get mine... I complained to the board, and I was told that i would be paid alongside batch B corp members, because my file came in late. I mentioned that i would have passed out by then, but they assured me that i'll still receive the bulk sum and subsequent monthly payments.
Despite passing out, i followed up with Batch B, i made all necessary payments, i ensured that the CLO cross checked my details at the Education Board, since they were expecting payment.
Yesterday, the Batch B corp members were given their first bulk payment (72k), and i still didn't get mine..
After enquiries, The people at the ICT room in Anambra state Govt Secretariat said my details wasn't on the list...details that were confirmed minutes before the list was taken to the ICT room... Apparently, someone who knew i reside in the far North had removed my name from the list, probably to divert the pay to his/her account knowing that i might not be able to come down to Anambra if i didn't receive the pay....
To think that i planned on using that money to start up a small business to take take care of my self while i await a better job ..I was born with a cleft of the soft palate, recently the cleft opened up Unexpectedly, worsening my speech issue (by increasing the nasal sound).
I had to go for an unplanned surgery (to reduce the nasal sound) using the money i've saved up...

Last two weeks, while still recuperating from the surgery, i had to borrow money to go write the NNPC aptitude test, with the hope that i'll be paid...well!!!...here we are!!!...

Worst Part? Everyone has turned their backs on me....No one is willing to help me fight for it (not that its their responsibility though)

I am a lady, i need to take care of myself, I want to fight for my money, I an done crying, i want to fight for a meaning to life..but how do i?
Does anyone know how i can? Can anyone give me any idea at all on how i can reach a superior power at the Anambra state government Secretariat? The office of the head of service.. Maybe a twitter handle, facebook page? Phone number? Anything at all, i just want to get my money as that's the only possible way i can get my life back on track financially...

Any suggestion? Please send me a mail. Crushedsadsoul@gmail.com

    3. What I know is that NYSC will never owe any Corp member. I was posted to a nothern state & I redeployed to Delta State. While in camp in the north, I opened an account with UBA & was sent an account number which I didn't save. I got a smaller phone in camp & put my mtn sim & I was sent another account number which I saved. December came & I got no allowance, meanwhile I was already in Delta State.

When I got to the UBA branch in Asaba, I was told it was a wrong account number.
I made calls, pursued it & nothing came forth so I forgot it. One day, I had reasons to insert my mtn sim back into my android & that was when I saw the very first Account number sent to me. I compared & discovered the difference. I passed out of service & moved to Lagos. On my birthday december 23,2016, I got a call from one of the directors confirming my details & apologising. February 2017, I got alert of my December 2015 allawee.

If there has been no error in the forms you filled, I believe you should be paid. Please take care of yourself. ❤️

    TEXT:
    John 14:1-4

    TOPIC:
    The Cure For Worry

    KEY VERSE:
    John 14:1

    MESSAGE:
Toward the end of 1943, President Roosevelt, Prime Minister Churchill, and Joseph Stalin were scheduled to meet in Tehran, Iran, to discuss strategy in the war against Germany. As the three leaders prepared for the trip, made even more dangerous by the ongoing war, Roosevelt wrote to Churchill and expressed some concern over the meeting location. He feared that Tehran was in range of German bombers and they could be subject to attack. Churchill sent back this message: "See St. John chapter 14, verses 1-4."

Those nine words and the truth of the verses Churchill references, contain the cure for worry in any situation of life. Our faith is not that nothing will ever go wrong. Jesus spoke these words just hours before He was put to death on the cross; but He assured that God is in control and our eternal destiny is secured in Him. The more we believe in God, the less we worry. Troubled hearts reveal that we are not trusting Him as we should.

The reminder that Jesus gave to His disciples just before the crucifixion was that there is more than this world in our future. The burdens and troubles and trials of life are real but they are temporary. And the God who sees us through them has an eternity prepared for us. Nothing that anyone or anything in this world can do will change that. It is settled and secure according to the unfailing promise of Almighty God. Stop those worries now and hold on to God's solution to worries- the Scriptures.

    CONTROLLING
    THOUGHTS:
The Word of God is the solution for worry.

    PRAYER:
Oh Lord, remind me to always search the Scriptures in times of worry.

    BIBLE READING FOR A YEAR:
    Jer.22-23; Matt.24:29-51.

  12. Too often you come here talking about how someone has changed and you used to like their comments but not any longer.

You don't know anyone here, but you see their ID, you see a few of their comments, and you try to make them up in your head based on those few comments and you try to hold them to a standard you feel suits them or suits their ID. You elevate them to perfection in your eyes.

And then, they make few more comments and you come crying, forgetting that just as there are many parts to a whole, each human is unique and has a range of feelings and expressions and diverse experiences that shape them and their behavior.

What's my point? No one has the right or the effrontery, without knowing a person or their experiences, to talk about how a person has "changed" simply because their comments or behaviors on a BLOG do not suit their behavior in your head or do not suit how you feel they should behave in your small, limited mind.

Stop it, please. Just stop it. And that statement "you've changed o" is one of the most manipulative statements ever and a tool that people say so as to keep the other person under their control, and doing what they want.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

  15. So, the average Nigerian thinks once a woman leaves the four squares of school, the next thing is for her to land in a man's house, doesn't really matter how she gets there though, just get married. Now, a conversation between me and my darling friend.
Her: baby yo, sup with you na?
Me: baby boo, I dey o. What to do na?
Her: you Don finish school ba?
    Me: yes my dear.
Her: wow. Very good. So, when are we coming to eat jollof rice?
Me: (clearly pretending not to understand) Bae, i cook jollof rice everytime, it's my favorite. See ehn, when you're ready to come eat, just let me know. I'd cook it so deliciously that you'd forget the way to your house after eating it. 😊😊😊
Her: nor be Wetin I mean be that. When are you getting married? What are you waiting for? Time nor dey o.
Me: (irritated)I am waiting for your husband my darling. Infact, it's your husband I want to marry, you know he's cute, I'd like to marry him. How about that?
Her: Haba na, e never reach like that!
Me: e don reach like that o. As matter of fact, hold him well o, because I'm coming for him.
Her: abeg nor vex o. I was just advising you.
Me: I know darling, and I appreciate it. (😎😎Chief advicer of the universe. Oshey!)

Getting married on its own isn't a bad Idea, But hey, how about I leave school, do something good for myself, like getting a job, doing something tangible for myself and family, grow myself a bit and build myself both mentally and physically before wearing that round steel. Moreover, No one rushed you, so I don't see the rationale behind why you should wanna rush me. And then Marriage isn't a pot of beans, you would have to make it work through the dent of hardwork. You will have to wear the full armor of patience, the golden helmet of perseverance, and the silver boot of endurance. The people around me, the society that sets the age limit of marriage for unmarried women, wants a WEDDING, but me, i want MARRIAGE! Not the mirage encompassed with chaos that people are rushing into these days. #rantover

    1. Oriegwu. My aunty used to beat her children in the US when they were small. But first she will put holy fear in them about how social welfare will come and take them away, take away their mum and dad and so many things. Before she starts the main beating.
Growing up, she was a terrorist to us, we feared her even more than our parents. So even the the fear of social welfare couldn't stop her from giving her kids the occasional knocks the Nigerian way.

  36. There are several misconception about feminism or feminist. A feminist is some who advocates or believes in the social, economic, political equality of sexes, and not what people believe to be "a woman who is not submissive or a slay queen". We all have sisters, mothers,Aunties, and may have wives and daughters, would you be happy if any of these women in your life are treated unequally in terms of employment, appointment salary schemes because they are females?no. I am using the females because the conception has being held against the females Because of the name FEMINISM, you should know that feminism is about equality of the male and female sexes, there are societies too that favours the women more than the men. I believe in the equality of sexes for the betterment of my generation...my opinion and have a nice day

    3. blackberry shut up...its not only amongst Nigerians people misconstrue that word. I saw a video yesterday of an African American lady who blamed her not being married with kids on her being a feminist. some women juat don't get it andjust join the bandwagon tobe stupuid. being a feminist is not being a man hater. its just desiring that women get equal opportunities. biblically God created men and women equall but with different roles. he made man head of the home and women to submit to that headship, but when they both play their roles as God defined it they will both be treating each other with love and respect the way God wants it...it is the wickedness of man and oppression to women that made feminism come to the fore..so feminism is not men hating or wanting to be equal to men as some people have wrongly interpreted it

  38. When people walk away from a relationship, please how do they do it, practically?
Dated him for 4yrs now,I bliv in keeping d marriage bed undefiled. My first kiss was from him. Like he's my first everything.am a virgin ,he's not
But am not comfortable with making out with him, anytime I touch him, just to make him feel happy I feel empty,I can't pray, like I feel so so bad in fact we can finish one bottle of cream.
Yesterday he told me he was visiting, and I told him hope its not cause he wants to feel "gud'. And he told me, this tym I either give him sex or he cheats..
He's a gud man, but this sex thing. Hes pushing me and he doesn't want to talk abt it. After all pastors do it..nobody is holy.. Etc.
I want to walk away, yet 1day without him.. Please I need help. I don't want to keep hurting my conscience, we look innocent to others, inside the pressure for him to av sex or touch him na war.
And marriage isn't near self, I hope somebody understands my stand and tell me how best to walk out

    1. Any guy who would give you an ultimatum because of sex is up to no good. You know what to do. It’s either you are giving in or you walk away. Nobody ever died from heart break.

    2. My dear, he does not love u. My boyfried and I are in a no sex relationship. He has been with other people before me, I have not. He says the love we share made his decision easier to go on this journey with me. There are challenging days but we are keeping on. He has never pressured me for sex.We have had our fair share of issues but its never been sex related. If he loved u truly, he would not pressure u this way. I suggest u move on. My dear have sex with him because u want to. Because u CHOOSE to and because u are ready. Not because he's pressuring u to.

      Selfish he truly is
How he doesn't care how you feel
Also his arsehole tendencies are coming to life

      CUT HIM OFF!

  51. OMG Stella those boys πŸ˜‚ but
I think it's important for no to mean no in parenting. I don't have kids. But it's not love to over indulge children. You already gave them two phones. One for a few hours in school and then they get the other one for the rest of the time and weekends. That's a very fair deal and you should insist they keep to it or forfeit all for sometime.
    Goodmorning everyone.

  52. Your kids are smart! But they need to face the consequence for disobeying your orders. Find a suitable punishment that's not beyond the offence they committed.
