Iya Ibeji Series - The Shocker

What will do if you opened a fridge and saw a snake?

I visited my husband's hometown one day and we went to see his uncle but the uncle had gone to the farm.

So we waited in his house and after sometime my husband opened the fridge to get water, next thing I heard my husband scream . I rushed towards him and asked what was wrong. He said ''babe there is snake in the fridge''
Snake in the fridge how? He said that there was snake in the fridge and that I should go and check.

The look on his face told me he wasn't joking so I refused to go and look. As a matter of fact I had to leave the house to go and wait for the uncle outside.

When the uncle came back ,I asked him if there was a snake in his fridge and he said yes. I asked him ''uncle wetin snake dey do for fridge?'' He said he caught and killed it but didn't have time to cook it so he stored it in the fridge.

Since that day I have been looking at that uncle with side eyes, I even started thinking of all the time I have eaten in his house if it was meat or fish that was served? Ever since that day I have not drank water in that house.

I had to ask my husband if he was sure his uncle is a real Christian? I'm sorry for judging him but I just can't shake off that creepy feeling.

Some people have such creepy things hanging around in their houses!!!

    2. Exactly what I was thinking. His beliefs/faith have nothing to do with the snake in the fridge. Don't forget fridge is also used for storage. God knows I don't like anything called 'Eran igbe', that's why I don't eat in people's house. If I have to, be ready to answer some questions.

  7. Lol... Had similar experience, while growing up. On the contrary ,it was a live snake. I was directed to get something from the kitchen when I noticed unusual crawling of something, I looked closely and realized it was a snake I practically "flew" out of the house. Flew in quote is to tell you I didn't run, I didnt know how I got outside. Immediately I sighted it, I managed to mutter "mum ejo wa ninu ile ooo/mum there is a snake is inside the house. My mum was inside the bathroom,I don't know how my mum managed to cover her body before running out,she came out with foams and soap bubbles all over her.Eventually, the snake was killed and eaten by some neighbours. Only God knows how the snake got in,no bushes, concrete everywhere 🤷‍♀️.

  8. My dear because your uncle
eats snake doesn't make him a lesser or better Christian.
