Work And Study In Scotland, UK.

Let’s start with a quiz. ......

Can anyone guess which university in the UK is recognised as a top 5% university by the THE World University Rankings (2019)?
Another clue: 95% of their graduates are in work or further education within six months of graduating.

Okay, one more final clue: they are located in Scotland, the most beautiful country in the world (Rough Guides, 2019) and rank 2nd best UK city for students according to QS, 2018.

If you guessed Edinburgh, then you are in the right city. And if you guessed Edinburgh Napier University, then give yourself a pat on the back because you are correct!

Have you ever thought about studying in the UK? Well, what are you waiting for? Hop on a flight and travel roughly 9 hours all the way from Abuja, Nigeria to Edinburgh. You’ll join a community of nearly 20,000 students, with 3,500 international students from over 110 different countries all studying here in

Edinburgh.

“I really love being part of the Edinburgh Napier student community”, says international student ambassador Amarachi from Nigeria. She has studied marketing with festival and event management here with us and loved every minute of her journey (even when she was busy with exams!).

We have three amazing campuses spread across the city, each hosting a range of facilities specific to each course. Here you can study anything from accounting to computing, engineering to psychology or marketing to sport sciences. I would be pretty confident that whatever you are interested in studying, we either have that course or can help you find something similar. If you aren’t sure what you might like to study, that’s okay too. Our Ask a Student platform is there for you to contact current students about their experience here.

“Edinburgh looks like something out of a fairy-tale.” We couldn’t agree more with Amarachi! If you imagine Hogwarts from Harry Potter, or a scene from Braveheart then you can picture Scotland. Living in Edinburgh is like living inside a real live postcard image. Each day you will find somewhere new to explore and tell your friends about. From beaches to old town alleys there will always be a picture-worthy scene in Edinburgh. Don’t believe us? That’s okay, just take a look for yourself.

We offer partial scholarships of £3,000 available for self-funding students who are joinging us from Africa. Of course there are a few T&C’s that apply but you can find out all you need to know on our website

Not a fan of online research? That’s no problem either. You can contact Buchi from our West Africa Office either by email or over the phone and she can provide you with any information that you may need.

  2. Scotland is a beautiful City but it is so freezing during winter more than every city in the United Kingdom. So many sight seeing centers.
