His appearance in the church attracted a large crowd of worshippers on Sunday who were seen screaming and jubilating as he mounted the podium
The controversial pastor returned to the pulpit, a month after he announced that he would be ”taking a leave of absence from the pulpit of the church.”
In his sermon which was broadcast live on the church official youtube channel,he spoke of tribulations and persecution which he said every Christian was destined to encounter.
His sermon titled ‘Sudden victories’ attracted cheers and intermittent screams from the congregation.
The COZA pastor was accused of rape by Busola Dakolo, who made a public confession in a Church interviw in front of a cross and alleged that the Pastor raped her when she was a teen.
from thisdaylove
Nigeria is a mess, people still attend this church. In fact, new members were welcomed in style yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI hear his congregation has increased, if i were to be in Abuja, i'd also be Krested into COZA.
DeleteMy dear, i tire!!
DeleteWhen i went to Abuja some weeks back, my Sister said i should visit their church, if you see the look i gave her ehnnnnnn!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank @09:21
DeleteIf I were a church goer,I would have become a member of coza!
Shame on Timi and his olosho wife!
So thats how all i typed evaporated... in summary, when Nigerians love you, you can hardly do wrong in their eyes, and most times that love is contagious.
DeleteCookie, deny all you want, youre a COZA member by blood 😂😂
DeleteCookie eh😁😁😁😁😁😁
DeleteCookie I celebrate you ooo... member by blood😂😂
DeleteCongratulations man of God. The devil is a liar.
DeletePinklady is she's an olosho what then do you call a man that patronize one?
DeleteHmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteNigeria my Nigeria. The rapists have it. Quite sad though
ReplyDeleteThunder fire all you fools calling him a rapist is there proof. Fish brain
DeleteTimi and Busola, una see una life?
ReplyDeleteThe man is being celebrated even more, back to the pulpit.... i hope you also got the closure you needed, if not wetin you gain?
They gained their freedom to speak against the demon masquerading as pastor. That in itself is triumph but what do your simple rape apologist mind know?
DeleteSMH!!!
DeleteBlame our nation. Don't blame The Dakolos.
DeleteBill Cosby today is paying hugely for the sins he committed many many years ago.
Our ways here are twisted that is why people get away with a lot of evils.
09.09 this is not about the Dakolos , is about the body of Christ. If you don't fear man, you can fear God at least. Heaven is watching.
DeleteThe freedom to be stigmatized publicly,
DeleteThats the only freedom i see.
@09:09,👍👍👍👍
DeleteTimi and his wife are losers!
Anon09:09! They gain freedom to SPEAK OUT.
DeleteThe truth of it is, the shame was not for the Dakolos and all victims in similar situations, it is not. The shame is reserved for every creep who has ever touched a female and male inappropriately. The shame is on the abuser( e.g your pastor), not the victim, not the survivor. It is tragic that so many individuals have to survive this kind of craps.
According to Anita Hills in Speaking Truth to Power..."Blaming the victim is an act of refuge and self-deception. It allows the blamer to sit in judgment, imagining some mystical justice that means bad things happen only to bad people, thus ensuring their own safety.”
Theyre not losers, but they lost the case... it was a "dead on arrival" kinda case without evidence, just words from a historical sad jar, poured on the medias feet.
DeleteI agree with you YLE, no one is a loser here. Again don't conclude too fast that the Dakolo's have no evidence. Let's keep our fingers acrossed while we wait for the outcome.
DeleteHe preached in church and his blind followers celebrated him..and so what? Does that make him vindicated. Dis is already a stain on his name, his image and his legacy. Only COZA blind members can keep celebrating him. He has become an outside joke of his own uncontrollable libido. No reasonable person will trust their daughter or wife with him.
DeletePastor Goodman in UK did more than this. The accusations hovered around him for years....he was even more known and respected than Biodun. Where is he today? Eventually his sins caught up to him.
This is only the beginning. He may not go to jail....but things will never remain the same for him. Only a matter of time, dis is just his genesis.
Cynhams cakes he will still pay trust me. Do you know since when sexual assault cases started trailing Cosby. His first accusation was like in the very early 90s. He was able to hush it and paid huge settlement to the lady. Settled it outside court.
DeleteWith passing years the whispers became louder. More women including those in the 60s,70s started coming out.
I know this isn't America but one thing I know is if Biodun I won't even dignify him with pastor. If he doesn't change his ways, his doom will come. It may not be now. But he won't go unpunished if he keeps sleeping around. Ese was the first to speak out, followed by Busola, others will have same courage as years go by.
With humans they lost but have you thought about God? The owner of all powers, He can be merciful and terrible when you provoke Him to anger.
DeleteI don't know about y'all, I'd rather be condemned by humans than God
Ben and pillow, it seems youre not in this country, watch him rise higher and stronger! In and outside COZA.
DeleteBed and Roses the omni knowest see how you confidently said if he does not change his ways. Has he raped you before? If you're been called in a court of law, can you defend your accusation? Talkative
DeleteGod cannot be mocked!
DeleteHe's verdict may take a while and not the usual we see but he MUST give it.
Those who cried in secret and in open had God listening.
More than one women cannot be lying.I repeat more than one women...
He has supporters ,yes!
Connection too? Oh yes.
Let the whole world applaud him,the truth will still unveil.
Let it take time, but the Dakolos will laugh last.
I still stand with BUSOLA.
Fan you are beyond stupid. How can you say that to someone. Are you wishing her rape ?
DeleteFan be showing your uncouth self but when you are dished with the same measure of insults, don't start barking and ranting. How Bed and R comment is your problem is what I don't get.
DeleteSigned and Krested!!!
ReplyDeleteNo time to check time!!!
The ministry must move forward.
Gbam! Shame to the devil!!
DeleteAna emenu. The one my former Pastor did and still do is greater than this one here. Nigeria's Christians and church goers have refused to be awake.
ReplyDeleteDon't mind them. But day of reckoning is coming soon for them all
DeleteHe should continue his pastoral work while we wait for investigation to be concluded. Staying away from the pulpit until when investigation is through which we don't know when isn't the best for him. So I welcome him back.
ReplyDeleteTeejay I like the new you, able to state ur opinion different from what public (bv) want to hear.
DeleteSealord, thanks for the compliment. I have learnt never to be a pleaser to anyone, not anymore.
DeleteTeejay you are always shouting investigation, investigation whenever Busola's case is being mentioned. Why didn't you wait for investigation before you declared that Buhari rigged 2019 election. #Double standard#
DeletePrincess the two cases aren't the same. We saw the rigging taking place but did we see the alleged rape? No. There are pictorial and video footage of the rigging but we are yet to see any exhibit indicting this man.
DeletePrincess, didn't people here accused you to be whiteberry? should we have jump into conclusion that you are whiteberry? I reason before I type so don't run too fast dear when responding to my comment.
He should continue what? It's like you think through your anus, the best thing to do is step down till the investigation is over that's the right thing. Even in the corporate world if a charge is brought against you you step down pending when investigations and judgments have been delivered
Delete@Teejay you know I ALWAYS DISAGREE with you when it comes to Busola and Biodun case. This is a very sensitive matter, we all have to support the victims pending when the truth is established. Mind you , I don't believe in Nigeria judiciary. Again I don't care whether Busola wins this case or not all I am concern about is her inner peace. I pray she finds the peace she enerstly desire. For the Whiteberry or whatever they call it is a misunderstanding, which has been sorted out by those that intiated it
DeletePrincess, it's good to disagree on issues here but more better when done constructively and that I so much like about you. If you read me clearly, I never said Pst. Biodun coming back to the pulpit exonerated him from guilt, but rather, while waiting for investigation to be over, he should continue his pastoral work. There's always need to give people the benefit of doubt. Trust me, God isn't asleep and can't be mocked. Him alone is the perfect judge and rewarder of all. If Biodun is guilty, then he will pay for his deed in one way or the other but if he is not, then he will be exonerated. Let's not be too fast to condemn a man when being accused by a woman of rape without thoroughly having an evidence or proper investigation being carried out.
DeleteAnon 10:59, a popular pastor who is now divorced with his wife that's based in London and the pastor in Nigeria. During all the accusations trailing the pastor's infidelity according to the wife, did he step down? What if the investigation of this case takes over 10years to reach to its conclusion? Mind you, this isn't political office where someone is charge on corruption.
Stepping down for one month was a good move he did and coming back doesn't mean he has been exonerated. If after the investigation he is found guilty, then the proper punishment for him begins as the law deems necessary.
Teejay you always have enough reason to justify your action/comments. Strong undisputed reasons ooo that's brave!
DeletePrincess I doubt if you're a Christian. Anytime a man of God is being ACCUSED you jump from nowhere and shout crucify, what have they done to you if I may ask? Ajuju n'ese okwu
Delete@Teejay I rest my case, let truth prevail.hahahaha @Fan, ajuju ajuo
DeleteWaooooooo my mouth open like Ike's own
ReplyDeleteClose ur mouth before flies get in, what were you expecting?
DeleteThat ike mouth tire me pls ..you can DM ebuka na to tell him so he can know how he will jokingly tell hm.am not on gram😎😎😎
Deleteim not in anyway surprised. This is Nigeria.the slapping senator with video evidence. What happened. Even if we humans can't punish him. Karma will
DeleteIs slapping senator not nursing that incurable sickness ?
This is Nigeria
ReplyDeleteEverything goes.
Brainwashed folks
Blind leading the blind (things of the spirit are not easy to comprehend). Of course there will be cheers, gullible people can't help themselves but continue to idolize a human being against the sovereignty of God the most high.
ReplyDeletePride will not let him, acknowledge, repent and ask for forgiveness. The pride will he (God) bring down . Biodun cannot fathom letting go of the business COZA. He can't stand being at the background, narcissistic.
All sins are forgiven o, if and only if you repent and ask for forgiveness.
Nevertheless whether forgiven or not, you are not free from the consequences or punishments. The consequences can be distributed up to your tenth generation.
If sinner repent God go forgive am na. we just dey talk , this man fit don make him way right with God. Next sunday i go visit COza
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteLet him apologize openly and seek forgiveness
DeleteForgiveness for what? Which crime? Abeg shift
DeleteShameless man. That jazz will soon fail you.🙄
ReplyDeleteJazz?
DeleteSorry to disappoint you, na clear eye something.
E be like say e donn nack u before
DeleteYou dey mind him. God cannot be mocked
Delete@ Blessed princess, when u were advicing a woman to pin her ex baby on her husband, shebi u didnt know God cannot be mocked abi?
DeleteAnnon 20:16 abeg leave me alone na, I thought I have apologized. I wasn't thinking straight when I made that comment. It was at the heat of the moment
Delete@Blessed Princess, yet you have been the first one casting the very first stone since the inception of this case. A perfect case of a kettle calling the pot black indeed. #Hypocrite.
DeleteThis is Nigeria
ReplyDeleteLook how we living now
Everybody is a criminal
Hehehehehe, Falz the bad guy
DeleteBest comment Kim Nana
DeleteHe committed the crime.
ReplyDeleteHe asked for forgiveness and GOD has forgiven him. We are all sinners before GOD.
It's not always that simple, Cutest Pat. Just like copying and pasting godly quotes and verses does not make one godly.
DeleteThe question is, DID HE ACCEPT THAT HE COMMITTED THE CRIME??
DeleteDid God tell you this?
DeleteWhere you there when he committed the crime?
DeleteLol... damn Cutest carry bucket and shovel come oh, u kno what to do wen u get here.
DeleteAre you the God who has forgiven him? The way you people declare forgiveness on God's behalf here like He speaks to you personally on those he has forgiven of grave sins. Same way when someone commits abortion and they come crying, y'all are so quick to say God has forgiven them! SMH!
DeleteSpot on Perxian.
DeleteAs assistant God that you are abi??
DeleteGo and watch 'Blood on the Altar', it's a mount Zion movie..... As long as this earth remaineth, seed time and harvest will not cease!!!
I disagree with you @Cutespat, he has to confess, have real repentance and seek for forgiveness
Delete@Amanda, has investigation indicted him for you to speak in all certainty? The time I was accused here to be sexy daddy, should I have accepted I am even when I wasn't? Hasn't time prove me right? So let's wait for the investigation to be over so we can know what to say and channel our energy on.
DeleteCopy and paste quotes😂😂 ouch😏😏
DeleteShots fired!! @perxian 😂
DeletePerx 😂😂... evil.
DeleteJust when i thought u were nice.
This comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteCutest Pat when it happens to you I hope you can explain and accept it as simply as you have typed. Oponu.
DeleteSo rapist can rape a small girl selling orange. Take away her innocence.
DeleteBut turns born again and ask for forgiveness. So becos of that the little girl doesn't deserve justice right ?
No Teejay dear, time has not proven you right cuz we are still not sure💁♂️.
DeletePERXIAN!!!
Delete😂😂😂😂
@Teejay,i even replied cutest pat because he/she admitted Mr fatoyinbo COMMITTED A CRIME!
DeleteAs for you all blind followers of Mr biodun fatoyinbo, you can believe whatever you want, I don't have una time
@Amanda Favour, hmm..where you there when he committed this rape or are you also omnipresent like God?
DeleteThe Holy Book says touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm.
ReplyDeleteAre you aware the people you insult here everyday are also God’s anointed, abi you think only pastors are anointed.
DeletePple tend to misquote that scripture. It's not only "Pastors" that are anointed. If you have Christ in you, that also makes you an anointed one. We should stop giving Pastors the upper hand to commit more crimes with this, "touch not my anointed", "he's human" bla, bla, bla.
DeletePastors have used this quote to deceive a lot of people.
DeleteAre you always this stupid? Or it is an occasional occurence?
DeleteAnd who touched him? A man is accused of an offense which more than 2people have testified to & you're here quoting a non-applicable verse. SMH!
DeleteWhen you go gather brain like this this girl? 🙄
Delete@ PrettyJane!..The Holy Book Says
Delete" For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.(Romans 16:19)
I don't know what this world be is turning to. I fear for the negative effect this will cause some other victims that has been wanting to speak up about their own predicaments
ReplyDeleteThe Holy Book also says false prophets abound and not everyone thats calls me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.
ReplyDeleteThe Holy Book says judge not so that you will not be judged. Has God judged him as a fake prophet?
Delete@ Perxian..👍👍👍👍👍👍
DeletePrettyjene, The Holy Book also says "by their fruits, you shall know them".
DeleteWanna keep going?? 🙄
@ PrettyJane! The Holy Book says (Matthew 7:15) “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”
Delete@Perxian, just like the only book also says: judge not so that you won't be judged!
DeleteOne of the most misused verses in the Bible is, "Judge not, that ye be not judged" (Matt.7:1) Every Scripture verse should be read in its context, if we are to properly understand the true meaning.
DeletePeople cling to "Judge not, that ye be not judged, " to condemn those who expose evil should read the entire section. Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing.." How can we know false prophets unless we judge them by the Word of God? If we know the false prophets, how can we fail to exam the sheep of these "ravening wolves?" All through The Holy book (Bible) we find proof that they should be identified and exposed.
@Perxian, even though I am not @Prettyjane, I will reply this. Anyway, the holy book also says: let him who hasn't sinned cast the first stone. I guess you are a saint judging from your sanctimonious stance. #SaintPerxian.
DeleteNa wa....o His members sha,He;s still INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
ReplyDeleteBbjac
His church members can accept him. That's their choice.
ReplyDeleteWhat is all edge is a crime; rape and sexual abuse of a minor.
But the investigations must continue. I am waiting for the other 2 pastors(Coza Lagos & Port Harcourt) who where present when Busola and family confronted Biodun to refuse. The one in Lagos who even pleaded that the man needs help. Then, let all the churches closed down. Let everyman be for himself and God, no middle men in the guise of spiritual leaders.
The cult of the personality seems to triumph over basic decency, integrity and morals. Biodun is and will always be a rapist. God cannot be mocked. Money can buy silence but it cannot wash away the crime. I now realise that we Nigerians truly deserve the leaders we have. All those in support of this man, why don't you leave your daughters with him for 'prayers'
ReplyDeleteDear, no sensible person will support rape or crime. All we are saying here is that, the accused has the right to fair hearing. What if there are more to this than what we are seeing now? Let investigation indict Pst. Biodun. Is that too much of a thing to wait for? The president wife is already involved in this case and I believe the Dakolo's can't be intimidated. So lets wait and see how it goes.
DeletePerxian, what can your fruits say about you for judging this man? are you holier than him?
ReplyDeleteThe Holy Book says"Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit".
DeleteDid the Lord mean that we could not judge the tree (person), by the fruit of their life and doctrine? Certainly not, for you cannot know without judging. All judgment should be on the basis of Bible teaching, not according to whims or prejudices.
Why are we so holy? "for all have sinned and fallen short of thy glory". Remember you'll be judged for judging this pastor.
ReplyDeleteYou need more understanding of the holy book pretty Jane, was like you on this judge not my anointed stuff until a Rev. Father deeply explained that scripture verse one certain Sunday. I went to a mission secondary school, what I heard and what I experienced is nothing to write home about. We couldn't talk about it, not even among us without fear because of this judge not my anointed...
DeleteBiko rapu okwu.
You and Tacha, I wonder who dull pass
Delete@Jessi, as if your rev. rather is God and his explanation of that passage is final.
DeleteAnyway, examples abounds of how God dealt with people trying to fight on his behalf in the Bible. From Mariam, Moses' sister to the man, Uzzah, who was trying to rescue the art of the convenant from falling. Let God be the judge while you take time to clean the skeletons in your own cupboards first. #Judgina.
Nigeria! Country where evil Is celebrated so far it's committed by the rich and famous whether clergy or otherwise. Celebrate on supporters. The downfall of:evildoers will come someday except death comes before it.
