COZA Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo Returns Resumes Preaching In Church...

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA,, has returned to the pulpit after about a month of ‘leave of absence’ following allegations of rape leveled against him.

His appearance in the church attracted a large crowd of worshippers on Sunday who were seen screaming and jubilating as he mounted the podium

The controversial pastor returned to the pulpit, a month after he announced that he would be ”taking a leave of absence from the pulpit of the church.”

In his sermon which was broadcast live on the church official youtube channel,he spoke of tribulations and persecution which he said every Christian was destined to encounter.

His sermon titled ‘Sudden victories’ attracted cheers and intermittent screams from the congregation.

The COZA pastor was accused of rape by Busola Dakolo, who made a public confession in a Church interviw in front of a cross and alleged that the Pastor raped her when she was a teen.

    2. Blame our nation. Don't blame The Dakolos.

Bill Cosby today is paying hugely for the sins he committed many many years ago.

Our ways here are twisted that is why people get away with a lot of evils.

    6. Anon09:09! They gain freedom to SPEAK OUT.
The truth of it is, the shame was not for the Dakolos and all victims in similar situations, it is not. The shame is reserved for every creep who has ever touched a female and male inappropriately. The shame is on the abuser( e.g your pastor), not the victim, not the survivor. It is tragic that so many individuals have to survive this kind of craps.

According to Anita Hills in Speaking Truth to Power..."Blaming the victim is an act of refuge and self-deception. It allows the blamer to sit in judgment, imagining some mystical justice that means bad things happen only to bad people, thus ensuring their own safety.”

Theyre not losers, but they lost the case... it was a "dead on arrival" kinda case without evidence, just words from a historical sad jar, poured on the medias feet.

    8. I agree with you YLE, no one is a loser here. Again don't conclude too fast that the Dakolo's have no evidence. Let's keep our fingers acrossed while we wait for the outcome.

    9. He preached in church and his blind followers celebrated him..and so what? Does that make him vindicated. Dis is already a stain on his name, his image and his legacy. Only COZA blind members can keep celebrating him. He has become an outside joke of his own uncontrollable libido. No reasonable person will trust their daughter or wife with him.
Pastor Goodman in UK did more than this. The accusations hovered around him for years....he was even more known and respected than Biodun. Where is he today? Eventually his sins caught up to him.
This is only the beginning. He may not go to jail....but things will never remain the same for him. Only a matter of time, dis is just his genesis.

    10. Cynhams cakes he will still pay trust me. Do you know since when sexual assault cases started trailing Cosby. His first accusation was like in the very early 90s. He was able to hush it and paid huge settlement to the lady. Settled it outside court.
With passing years the whispers became louder. More women including those in the 60s,70s started coming out.
I know this isn't America but one thing I know is if Biodun I won't even dignify him with pastor. If he doesn't change his ways, his doom will come. It may not be now. But he won't go unpunished if he keeps sleeping around. Ese was the first to speak out, followed by Busola, others will have same courage as years go by.

Let the whole world applaud him,the truth will still unveil.

    4. Princess the two cases aren't the same. We saw the rigging taking place but did we see the alleged rape? No. There are pictorial and video footage of the rigging but we are yet to see any exhibit indicting this man.

Princess, didn't people here accused you to be whiteberry? should we have jump into conclusion that you are whiteberry? I reason before I type so don't run too fast dear when responding to my comment.

    5. He should continue what? It's like you think through your anus, the best thing to do is step down till the investigation is over that's the right thing. Even in the corporate world if a charge is brought against you you step down pending when investigations and judgments have been delivered

      Delete
    6. @Teejay you know I ALWAYS DISAGREE with you when it comes to Busola and Biodun case. This is a very sensitive matter, we all have to support the victims pending when the truth is established. Mind you , I don't believe in Nigeria judiciary. Again I don't care whether Busola wins this case or not all I am concern about is her inner peace. I pray she finds the peace she enerstly desire. For the Whiteberry or whatever they call it is a misunderstanding, which has been sorted out by those that intiated it

    7. Princess, it's good to disagree on issues here but more better when done constructively and that I so much like about you. If you read me clearly, I never said Pst. Biodun coming back to the pulpit exonerated him from guilt, but rather, while waiting for investigation to be over, he should continue his pastoral work. There's always need to give people the benefit of doubt. Trust me, God isn't asleep and can't be mocked. Him alone is the perfect judge and rewarder of all. If Biodun is guilty, then he will pay for his deed in one way or the other but if he is not, then he will be exonerated. Let's not be too fast to condemn a man when being accused by a woman of rape without thoroughly having an evidence or proper investigation being carried out.

Anon 10:59, a popular pastor who is now divorced with his wife that's based in London and the pastor in Nigeria. During all the accusations trailing the pastor's infidelity according to the wife, did he step down? What if the investigation of this case takes over 10years to reach to its conclusion? Mind you, this isn't political office where someone is charge on corruption.

Stepping down for one month was a good move he did and coming back doesn't mean he has been exonerated. If after the investigation he is found guilty, then the proper punishment for him begins as the law deems necessary.

Pride will not let him, acknowledge, repent and ask for forgiveness. The pride will he (God) bring down . Biodun cannot fathom letting go of the business COZA. He can't stand being at the background, narcissistic.

All sins are forgiven o, if and only if you repent and ask for forgiveness.
Nevertheless whether forgiven or not, you are not free from the consequences or punishments. The consequences can be distributed up to your tenth generation.

    6. One of the most misused verses in the Bible is, "Judge not, that ye be not judged" (Matt.7:1) Every Scripture verse should be read in its context, if we are to properly understand the true meaning.

People cling to "Judge not, that ye be not judged, " to condemn those who expose evil should read the entire section. Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing.." How can we know false prophets unless we judge them by the Word of God? If we know the false prophets, how can we fail to exam the sheep of these "ravening wolves?" All through The Holy book (Bible) we find proof that they should be identified and exposed.

The one in Lagos who even pleaded that the man needs help. Then, let all the churches closed down. Let everyman be for himself and God, no middle men in the guise of spiritual leaders.
