Deputy Senate President Omo AgegeTells President Buhari To Go To Sleep With His Two Eyes Closed...

Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege, on Thursday, averred that with Senate President, Ahmed Lawan and himself in charge of the upper chamber, President Muhammadu Buhari can now go to sleep with his two eyes closed.

Omo-Agege made the assertion while addressing a mammoth crowd at his country home in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State during his first visit after emerging the Deputy Senate President in the 9th National Assembly.

The Delta Central Senator, who emerged under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last general election, said the political shenanigans that characterised the 8th Upper Chamber against the successful leadership of President Buhari were gone for good.

He urged all Deltans, especially Delta Central Senatorial district, to profusely appreciate President Buhari for supporting his emergence as Deputy Senate President.
He also urged Deltans to pray for himself, Buhari, all APC governors with the exclusion of governors of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

    1. 23:35, leadership is not by academic awards, certifications, achievements etc.

There are educated illiterates everywhere, we encounter them daily on social media platforms.

If only you know how many CEO's or Captains of industries (some of who we celebrate and feel inspired by), do/did not have a formal education in the beginning, then you'll know it's not on accord of which tertiary institution you attended.

I agree its reckless. Common just because there is APC and PDP doesn't mean enemies na. We still belong in one country. When God sends rain, it falls on all. God doesn't say rain should not fall on his enemies or those opposed to Him. He still blesses everyone.
The APC government are the ones creating the chaos and division. With this mindset, I don't expect any better.

What this means is that if he sees his fellow Deltan who is a PDP in trouble or an accident, he will walk pass without helping. Where is his humanity? If this is coming from a leader who should encourage the oneness, then its very sad.

  8. Imaging the legislature prostrating to the executive. Legislature that supposed to be the watchdog of the executive against executive tyranny and the protector of the peoples rights is assuring the executive that the executive can go ahead and be doing whatever it likes. A lot of these people are not democrats they are just after the spoils of office.
