  5. Eno wasn’t fat shamed and didn’t yield to pressure from friends. She was always on Grandville’s Instagram admiring, praising his work and saying things like she’s going big or going home. She was not in support of those who did moderate bbl. unfortunately, her page on both insta and fb have been taken down so you can’t view her comments anymore. What happened to her is very sad but Please don’t blame anybody for her actions!

It is very usual for Nigerians to body shame people

It's not me you will body shame. They never born that person. The earlier you realise Nobody is perfect, you will love yourself like no man's business. No time to take nonsense.🚶‍♂️

    8. Exactly 11:36. Adults will make stupid decisions by themselves and we'll be looking for who to blame. Friends fat-shamed her, my a**. If she was so ashamed of being fat, why did she want to have all the fat put on her bum? People who are fat-shamed, lose weight! Well, she said she was determined to go big or go home; she has gone home, wherever that turned out to be for her.

Abuja has been thrown into mourning, ko. They should speak for themselves, abeg. Another senseless Abuja babe whose village demons are teleguiding her, will soon follow in Eno's footsteps all the way to Grandville and beyond.

      Delete
    9. if she was indeed body shamed I doubt she will be pumping same fat into her butt. She wanted a big butt and nicer shape simple. A person severely bullied will only want all round lipo and wont be concerned with big butt.
Im not against surgery, but Nigeria just isn't ripe to manage the many risk involved in it.
      RIP

      Delete
    10. She was fat shamed and yet went to pump more fat into her butt? If you believe that post up there then you’ll believe anything. Many surgeries were carried out on that sad day. She wanted to remove supposedly auxiliary breast, lipo of the stomach, back and arms and finally Brazilian butt lift. How much pain , anaesthesia and blood loss can a human body take? Even if it were possible, Grandville doesn’t have that facility to carry out all those in one day! Rest in peace Eno, your death was an avoidable one and that’s why it hurts!

Are you the one who said that whenever you gain weight, some of it settles around your abdominal region

Your ex tried teasing you that you have a big tummy

You also looked for a flaw in him and told him he had tiny arms or is it legs
      He immediately stopped the nonsense

    1. Sorry dear Anno 11:37, for your ordeal. May the Lord strenghten you. It is well!.

      Delete
    2. Please, don't confuse your ordeal at the police station with this issue.

WHY should the clinic be shut down? Can you prove negligence (reduced standard of care that led to or contributed to her death)? No? What about incompetence like in the case of Dr. Anu who's reportedly not even qualified? No? Can you show there was any foul play that could have been prevented by the hospital? Then, please move on and face what's really making you cry abeg. If you have extra tears to shed cos of medical care, go to National Hospital.

No, I don't work for the clinic. And plastic surgery isn't my thing. But from what I gather, this clinic has carried out a number of successful surgeries. While it is sad that she died, it appears that plastic surgery is here to stay, so we should approach cases of fatalities the way we would if someone were to die in a regular hospital.

    1. Don't mind them. I've seen fat-shamed people who resort to drastic diets and exercise, get gastric bypass surgery, even become anorexic. This is the first time I'm hearing that someone tried to inject fat into her buttocks as an answer to being fat-shamed. Meanwhile, look well at the pictures; this girl isn't/wasn't fat. She just has/had body.

    2. Perxian i know this girl well, her family and everything... the only thing Eno needed was a butt lift, her family are all known for this particular shape, they don't have any butt, like their back is much bigger than their butt, it flat..it their family shape, from their mum to siblings, even the men are not exempted, but very facially beautiful and intelligent children.. Eno always had the best guys in her life that will droll out hundreds of thousand for her as at 2007, when she was 19yrs, she was so favorable in that area and in life generally and i doubt this her bf ever complain about her shape.. Eno wasn't body shame, but maybe she felt insecure about the butt, but she was never too fat, just chubby.. Forget people having opinions over someone they don't even know mshewww

    3. 14:15 I believe this gist. Nothing wrong with altering your body whether it's vain or low self esteem but it's unfortunate she died.

You think people don't know they have flaws, they own their bodies, they see themselves in the mirror everyday, even when bathing and they are stark naked they know and see those flaws because they own their bodies. So why point it out? Like what do you intend to gain?

No one is perfect. Everyone has one flaw or the other they don't feel comfortable with don''t kill yourself when someone else tries to bring you down. Even those plastic surgeons have a few pats of their bodies that are flawed but they don't do anything about it. Shouldn't that tell you something?

  18. Nobody fat shamed these low self esteem women! Most of them just want to belong with fake body parts.

And do you know that most women that go under the knife, do it because of men and also to pepper their clique... It is a competition thingy.

    Build your self confidence
    Love your body
If you are fat, and you don't like it, don't wait for anyone to push you, push yourself, go to the gym, eat small portions of every food you like, drink more water, eat more fruits and vegetables... Go to dance club. Dancing is another good way to get rid of fat.

    1. My dear Mrs A, you really need to tone down on your comments. Believe me you and I have a lot in common and I can tell that from your comments, but not every body cannot be like us, see things like us or take decisions like us. You mentioned things a fat.person should do like it's that straight forward. What if you are slim? I am extremely slim and a stupid colleague still tried to body shame me. Truth is people have wicked thoughts and hearts and some people don't need to be body shamed. They are not happy with their bodies period. But contentment is quite a long journey. Sometimes I dress up but as confident as I am I still wish for one big body to carry my native wear wella. Pls easy with the comments. It's the reason a lot of people who don't really understand you come on full attack mode. Shalom!!

    2. My darling anonymous, advice taken.

Don't you ever give voice to anybody to put you down.

I used to be quite slimmer than I am right now and do you know that I usually sew iro and wrapper that suits my slim body so well that people with big body will be admiring me.

After wearing my native attire, tie my gele, my heels on my legs and my purse in-between my fingers, I carry myself like I am the first lady of the world (I am anyways 😊😊)

Anonymous darling, I am sorry if my comments upset you.

I do not body shame people even though I have been body shamed in the past; I never allow it gets to me.

Hold your head high and wear your native attire with pride and then, gbe body e😘😘

  29. Oh Eno very nice girl, her sister was my colleague and she was my junior in the uni. She this one lucky girl, that whoever she dates spend on her madly, and she had very rich guy, that as at that time, when we are hungry, we will block her and she will dash us money, small girl of 19 yrs then oh

The shape she had, was a family thing, they all have slim down and big up, with no buttocks but very very beautiful, inshort all of them. So humble and quiet a girl

As at that young age, she had a car, a business and living well in Abj, the mom is a very strict woman, a director in university hospital, which took care of all of them when they lost their dad

rest in peace Eno, the girl with a good heart

    1. So because @ 19, she had started dating rich men (why a teenager is dating, God knows); but cos she used herself as pipe to siphon money from men she was dating, to friends like you = she was lucky, humble and had a good heart? SMH. See your dirty mindset? What was a 19yo doing in Abuja, dating men? Shior!

Dating a rich guy, having a car at a young age, living "well" at a young age - that's the goal you're focusing on. See your gauge for relevance. You're the real Insta-glam generation; olori buruku. Shebi she was a lawyer and had a food business; why are you not mentioning those as relevant? Cos they're not. Desperate, disgusting, hungry Abuja hoes. Even when men help you, you refuse to use it to stand on your own. You are never satisfied. You feel entitled to what's not even yours cos you must live above your means, or die trying. Nobody fat-shamed this silly girl who went to kill herself for nothing. It's her continued associating with leeches and idiots like you that place value on undercover or implied hoe-ism, that's what killed her. I hope she managed to repent, sha cos a million RIP said or written by people on earth cannot get anyone into heaven. You live a useless life, die a miserable life and still end up in Hell - now that's the real tragedy.

  30. Always remember that people must talk. Whether slim or fat, someone must say something. Women please learn to love yourself. Rest in peace Eno.

  33. Every surgery on the human body is a risk, even the tiniest one. So, it's not a joking matter nor should it be taken lightly, especially, if its merely for cosmetic reasons. Seems it's the same type of cosmetic surgery that killed Kanye's mother that took beautiful Eno too. Kai, RIP, angel. Yet, to the living, it's better to Live-In-Peace in whatever body the good Lord has given one.

  34. One needs a strong "liver" to live in Nigeria - With all the critics, body shaming and foolishness that is called "cultural advice".

Body shaming has be happening since from time immemorial, from the aunties to the families members that will always remind one that "when are you going to put on weight?" to friends that will ask you why are you slim. What is all this doing to the psyche of the one who is being shamed? It takes a strong soul to stand such insults which are deemed tradition as in fat means rich and thin means poor.

This is a lesson to all plastic surgeons - Having money to go under the knife is not enough to deal with the physiological trauma that has not been properly dealt with. If she was properly assessed - She should have been given an alternative with the reasons why.

    God help the Nigerian child.
