  2. I'm here for all those 'Mind your business' people.... Y'all are hypocrites ooh(Including me before i left the WhatsApp group)!!

Do you really know what Mind Your Business is? You come on a post, give your unsolicited 'Mind your Business' opinion, how's it that you don't even practice what you preach by actually 'Minding your business'??

Oh well, I'm here to say I'M NOT MINDING MY BUSINESS, that's why I'm here to read gossips and what not and also give my opinion!! To mind your business is to read and not comment.... Thanks!!!

    Good Morning guys!!!

    7. Ms A is linguistically competent but lacks communicative competence which is a trait found in little children learning to converse. They say it as it comes into their mind without filtering. As adults, we need to use tact and sometimes learn to be diplomatic when passing our messages in order not to incur the wrath of those such messages is directed at.
The blog is like a market place and we don't need to keep showing everybody how we were brought up at home.

Pls advice and do HMO carry malaria and thyroid test?

    1. He needs to get the details of the bank or institution he is registered with. Does he have a RSA pin. He should get the contact of the officer in charge from his account department.

      For the Hmo, yes
Although it depends on his package but malaria test will still be covered.

    2. Regarding the pension issue, let your boyfriend write to PenCom (info@pencom.gov.ng) providing details and documentary evidence of his appointment letter, last three months pays lip and last RSA statement. His name will be protected and his company made to remit all outstanding pension contributions plus interests. Company will also be sanctioned. PenCom loves to handle such cases. Nigerians should learn to make official complaints and test the efficiency of public institutions - use social media to drag them if they don't perform.

  15. I hate accepting invitations to go to people's church, except for weddings or child dedications. In Nigeria, once you honour such invite, they begin to plot your conversion (not like you belong to another faith o).

My neighbor invited me to her church and after so much persuasion, I agreed to go for one of their thanksgivings. After the service, I was welcomed as a visitor, I made it clear to the man who was asked to take my details I belonged to another denomination and not looking to change and so was totally not necessary taking my details. He said no problem, it's just protocol.

That was the beginning of my tribulation.

I attend a semi orthodox church, the type people call old school. It's my parents'church, I was born and brought up in it. And although I deviated and still deviate for its doctrines and precepts; dressing, lifestyle etc, it's still the only church I feel comfortable in. They tell me I'm a sinner and would go to hell if I die eventually. And these are the things I like to hear on Sundays, not the usual you know...

My neighbors church is the typical new generation church. I'm not a fan!
These people started persecuting me with calls, messages etc. She'd come to my apartment when she's about to leave to church, mind you I'm preparing too, to take me along. Her excuse being that her church is closer, why do I need to spend money on transport going to mine? Yeah my church is far from my house, but I don't mind spending 1k every Sunday on transportation. How is it her or anyone's business?

The last one that got me mad was last Sunday. I was besieged by the pastor and his wife in the morning, I reluctantly went with. Is that not madness? I wasn't happy and it was written all over my face throughout. I hurriedly left after their 'drama'. I've not seen my neighbor since yesterday but I plan on telling her my mind when I do.
Problem is I don't know how to tell her without hurting her and her pastor's feelings.
I don't like their church! I want to be left alone!

    Good morning Stella and BVs.

You better tell them today and damn their feelings!!!! This is about you. If you don’t like it then you don’t period. If their feelings are hurt then oh the hell well. Put on your girl pants on and let them know your feelings todayyyy! This brings back memories of deeper life days and their forceful ways of winning people to Christ. Ahn ahn na by force?? Talk to your neighbor asap!

      Delete
    6. Leading people to Christ is totally different from invitation to Church. Your neighbor doesn't understand that.

      Delete
    7. of course you will like your parents church. they tell you you will go to hell but do nothing to make you see the need for salvation...alot of you there being just bench warmers and truly having a relationship with Christ...except a man be born again he will not see the kingdom of God. stop exaggerating cos they cant force you. if you dont want to go simple. evangelism is an active word, if the person doesnt want fine. do not see anything wrong in what they are doing, if you dont want to go with them say so period

      Delete
    8. Next time, tell them to go look for the Fulani Herdsmen and convert them. How does one convert a Christian again? Point is, it's the unbelievers that really need to hear the message of the cross and NOT people who already believe. You know what'am sayin?

  19. Should I quit my job? Before you do answer the following questions.

Do you think about quitting nearly everyday?

Is your heath (emotional or physical) being affected?

Do you feel like you’re selling your soul for your paycheck as you head into work each day?

Are you being bullied or discriminated at work?

Are you being demoralized by the everyday "I will sack you" by your employees?

Do your coworkers create a negative environment?

Do you feel sick to your stomach every Sunday night thinking about the next work week?

Is the company unstable (experiencing reductions in force and/or closing locations)?

Were you passed over for a promotion?

Are you no longer challenged in your current role and see no potential to change positions?

Have you reached the breaking point and a job search feels better than going to your workplace another day?

If your answer is YES, then I recommend you begin a proactive job search ASAP.

Prepare your resume, update your LinkedIn profile, head to networking events, and find professional growth opportunities to take on.

A child will go to school by 7am and close by 5pm for five days out of the seven days in a week.
During weekends that child comes home with many assignments in all the subjects he or she is offering in school and at such, there won't be time to rest and play at the weekends.
The child does that for almost four months hoping to enjoy the holidays only for the school (in collaboration with the parents) to come up with a scam in the name of holidays lesson.
What exactly do you want to teach that child again at this period? Is it what he or she learnt in the just concluded session or what they will learn next term?
Dear Nigerian parents, summer holiday is a period you allow a child to experience other things in life apart from formal education.
Allow them to travel for the vacation and if you don't have money for that, take them to places where they will learn new skills.
Let them go and learn drawing, computer coding, how to play football, martial art, business, catering, tie and dye, foreign languages, Barbing, sewing, hairdressing, how about music classes? Etc.
    Everytime Book!! book!!!book!!!!
.This is why most of our youths are unemployed. They only had FORMAL education; no FINANCIAL education.
They can't do any other thing apart from white collar jobs.
We learn how to discover a whole lot of things in school but not how to discover ourselves
    "SCHOOL IS NOT ENOUGH"!!!
Dear beloved parents/guardians, please avail these little ones the opportunities to explore life!!! Yes...... Let them in into the world of self-discovery. True happiness and contentment comes from doing what you have passion for.

every morning we would wake up early to go the shop..it gave us an experience on the other side of life.
we started handling transactions at that age and we eventually learnt the trade (leather business).
we learnt that for like 3 months before school resumed...
Now, doing business doesn't scare me I guess it's beacause we were exposed to that life very early.

    3. Please keep quiet!! She doesn't look down on babymamas, she doesn't like them... Y'all should direct your anger to God and leave that woman alone!! If she didn't bring her story here, you won't know she's divorced.... Huge difference from being a babymama!!

Whether we like it or not, pre-marital sex is bad... You think you can give God an excuse for that?? Shior!!

Maybe she communicated wrongly, i don't know but you people should stop bringing up her divorce whenever any little issue arise!!

    5. Anon, i get.... But the truth still stands!!

If you don't have premarital sex, you won't get pregnant right? Or use protection!!

Life happens is not an excuse we can tender before God, I'm just saying though

  29. Good morning people of SDK. I pray this week brings us only good, amen.

I read comments yesterday about losing a child. I couldn't bring myself to type that yesterday so old bear with me.

I became pregnant last year November with our third child. Everyone was happy, it was the easiest pregnancy I have ever had, no morning sickness, no nothing at all. I was just glowing. My girls were overjoyed when we discovered they were having a brother.

On Saturday 13th July 2019 around to 7 in the morning we left for the hospital . Gothe to hospital around 7.15 by 8 o'clock I delivered a bouncing baby boy. He came out and was screaming. 3kg and healthy.

He lived for only 4 hours.
    He died of negligence.
    the suctioning wasn't done well
My baby developed a breathing problem
I was complaining and both the docs and nurses were telling me and the hubs to calm down. Madam you just gave birth relax o. And just like that when I started screaming and the hubs had punched a doc in the face, they came to see the baby and started running up and down but it was too late.

    My baby died.
    The worst pain ever
I don't wish my enemy this kind of pain.

I look at my girls and am consoled. Will I be able to go through another pregnancy, am not sure. The hubs said he is done. That burying our boy was the most painful thing ever.

Now to every woman out there, you will never experience losing a child. To the ttc you will conceive and bring forth a healthy child, to those already pregnant, fret not the Lord is with you and it will surely end in praise.

Lastly always listen to your instinct, pray and look up to God. It's well with us all, amen

  31. As an inquisitive person, I wanted to observe and then ask questions about how to remain lovey dovey after many years of marriage.
    My Observations:
My social media marriage made in heaven "would have been mentor" talks to her hubby like a maid,no respect ooo,not minding the presence of an outsider (me).
Her hubby asked for food and she said there was no food at home, meanwhile I was offered food.
Her personal room was looking the best but masters bedroom looked like a deserted room with clothes, papers littered everywhere and smelling. Infact I didn't want to see more so found my voice to ask my question. And the answer was "my dear it's just to feel not left out ooo" all her friends keeps posting lovely pictures and she didn't want to be left out...her marital relationship with her hubby has broken down so much that she cooks noodles when hubby leaves and gives her children and washes her pot afterwards giving the impression that there is no food at home.
She eats out to her satisfaction according to her and so many other things which I don't want to talk about.
Reason for the write up...believe everything you see on social media to your own peril....
I went back home knelt down and said 'God I thank you for my Family.
