Nigerian Govt Threatens To Deal With Male Cross Dresser Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju

The Federal Government of Nigeria has threatened to deal with male cross-dresser, Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, otherwise known as Bobrisky.

Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, made the disclosure in an interview with Vanguard.

His words, “Bobrisky is a national disgrace. He started by selling and using bleaching creams, now, he has grown boobs, bums and hips.

‘If a Bobrisky is doing well with his immoral lifestyle, how do you convince Nigerian youths to do the right thing? Bobrisky has the right, but not within the Nigerian environment.

“There are others like him, but they live outside the country. If we don’t address Bobrisky as early as possible, he will form a team that will spread like wildfire.

“This will result in a lot of suicide cases, because the typical Nigerian parent would not want to see their child become a Bobrisky.

“It’s not an entertainment issue, it’s a war to save Nigeria for a better tomorrow. If you start this kind of war, you are bound to be attacked.

”My job is to preserve and protect the culture of this country. It would be unfair for me to be silent on this. You now find male prostitutes by the roadsides.
” A popular Nigerian recently paid an unexpected visit to his son in England only to discover that the son is a gay leader. The man was brought back to the country on a wheelchair.

”I’m talking with the strength of information and authority. I have information that over twenty-three Nigerian boys are already starting Bobrisky’s brand.

”Immediately we started the war, they pulled out because we are going to get them arrested. They cannot destroy this country.”

    4. Runsewe and all the hypocrites in the Nigerian government are lost, off course and disingenuous. By the way, what culture are they talking about preserving? The Nigerian culture that allows its leaders to loot the public purse, such that, there is absent good roads and healthcare facilities, quality schools, power/electricity, security, water, etc.? Or, is it the culture that believes in harvesting human heads in order to appease their various babalawos for fast money/power? Or, is it the culture that lacks respect nor empathy for others who may not be in the same class, as the privileged few?

  3. So Bobrisky's crossdressing is the cause of all problems in Nigeria. Some are just dumb and get given office to showcase their stupidity. In what constitution is Cross dressing a crime?

    2. God bless you anonymous 15:30!
all those shouting deal with Fulani herdsmen, dear with looting and the likes, stop and think first. There is a reason why there are different agencies with different agenda. As anonymous 15:30 said, nothing concerns him with Fulani herdsmen and the likes, bobrisky and his cohorts are part of his business and he his facing it diligently. Is it not better to start now before it becomes uncontrollable like corruption?
If the people concerned with corruption, Fulani herdsman and the likes started going into action on time we won't be where we are now.
so enough of the "deal with the corruption first", he is doing what concerns him.

    5. If his portfolio covers "culture" and need to do his "quota", why can not focus more on tourism E.T.C since we are very rich in culture.Thereby creating jobs.

    1. He represents the Nigeria arts culture and his mandate is to protect and preserve it.

Please, send Idris to jail already. Young boys want to be like him/her because they think he/she is successful

    2. Anon, what's wrong in emulating a successful person?

      Delete
    3. @Anon 17:13,So if he represents Arts culture and Blah Blah..., can he not " mandate, protect and preserve it" by working with the Nigeria Museums (God knows when we visited last, it was not encouraging) and appointment a Learning Officer for Young Peoples’ Skill Programmes (18–25), to teach them more about culture in this Museums. This role will involves running various programmes to try and diversify the culture and heritage sector and help young people to kickstart their careers. Also, an Apprenticeship programme, a Young Freelancers programme and a range of volunteer projects for young people (most esp from the lower class). This can be advocated and shares with the wider sector in Nigeria workforce.
I think Bob should be least of his priority .

    5. Anon 17:13!....This should be the least of his priorities. There are loads of pressing issues that need urgent attention, not "Bobrisky".For example, the youth of Nigeria need jobs,Business capital(mostly from the lower income) to go into art and culture, and in this way they help to "protect and preserve" it.

  10. Stella, leave the side eyes.
He's right. If that menace isn't curbed, it will spread like wildfire. Most times, we do things without thinking of the generation to come. There is always a 'preserved set of people' in each generation, community, clan and family that will unashamedly proclaim the truth.
I don't want my kids to see certain things as the norm. NO!

    1. When the government is not creating jobs, Why will it not spread like " wildfire". Some one is creative to put food on his table instead of going into "yahoo yahoo" that is spreading. Did he kill or steal from any one?
Bob should get a good lawyer to put them in their place...

    2. You just do your lot on your kids. Train them to only what you consider to be the norm. But would they grow up seeing corruption in high and low placed, killings, banditry, kidnapping and other vices as the norm? Bobrisky is the least of all the problems facing this nation. Runsewe may be
right but with this noise I bet nothing comes out of it. Our leaders strength fonf of making noise before trki g actions. And they end up doing little or nothing about a situation.
I am not supporting Bob, all I'm saying is that his wahala is just 1/20m ((cross dressing). But the other probs are always with and staring us in the face.

    3. Runsewe please no noise about t. Tacle it underground or or dialogue, not this nois if you want to achieve anything. positive. Or better still go undercover to get evidence against his gay status for easy sail.

  12. Na now dem wake up begin see road abi? The damage is done already and any attempt to arrest "Shim" will attract international attention. Will they also raid all those coded gay clubs that senior politicians, elites and elder-statesmen patronise in the north and the Island too? Remind me again who makes the laws and enforces it in Nigeria. The same set of people? Okay. The only thing is that this particular scapegoat has had it coming to him a long long time. His "discipline" would be interesting to watch or read about.

Stellz, I must say that I have tremendous respect for you for not promoting "Shis" cause on your platform. Kudos maami.
