Some people say.....

  19. I dont think pipo(people), wee(will), pelzon(person), yelz(yes) and the likes are abbreviations. It's just a way of sounding funky. No serious minded person will use them in a formal setting except your village pipo are on your case.
I use BRB, SMH, Bcos, BTW etc, atimes when I'm too lazy to type them out in full.

    2. Pipo, wee, kee, nau etc is just phonetically spelling out Nigerian English exactly as pronounced every day on our streets. Abi is that not how most Nigerians speak when they are in their element?

As for the pelzon, yelz etc, that’s basically they way Falz the Bad Guy and Jenifa speak. It’s not that serious guys.

I have a friend that does it all the time and I usually correct her, she learnt the hard way when she foolishly write k in her test... the lecturer purposely singled out her own for everyone to see!
