  2. When you believe in a person and encourage them, your words can bring out the best in them! She probably saw him for who he could/would be. Congratulations to them. Happy Anniversary.

  3. Exemplary couple. I love them.
However, it is only a “strong personal conviction” that will make a young lady marry a man that has no job.

  5. Hmmm..well that is his story and just the way he sees it. I know people get lots of help when they want to marry..but up to the point of getting help for first rent so they won't sleep at big sister's house is something that spells continue the hussle while single for me (to at least gather 2 years rent)..all these overhelp is what has put lots of Nigerians inside the habit of living above their means cos they actually hope on one uncle or aunty to bail them out.

  13. Thank God it ended in praise for them but realistically, does this type of situation always end in praise?

  14. Which Nigerian girl of today will agree to Mike Bamiloye's "good morning"?
When he had no job, no source of income and so on?
Girls these days are too materialistic and vain!

Men these days are too disloyal and dishonest!!!

    2. With the quality of men these days, any Nigerian girl that tries this deserves whatever she gets!

  16. Your big sister rented you and your wife a house. The ones we know, the man will rent house by himself and big plus small sister will come from nowhere to terrorise the wife.

Anybody looking at this couple's testimony, better be guided. And be 105% sure of who/what is guiding you. Just like it's not every pepper dem wedding, car or holiday pics you see on the 'gram that you tap into, it's also not every "We've been married for 100+ years" we tap into. It's not every man that can be followed, oh. Cos some, you can't even follow to grocery store without getting lost. E come be life journey? Rotfl.

And leave matter of potential abeg. Even armed robbers dem get potential. Whether to be caught, disgraced and executed. Or to change and sing, "Old things have passed away, I'm now a new creature and nobody is perfect". All follow for potential.

Yes, I'm married. While I honestly didn't know how much my husband had when I agreed to marry him (I made a conscious decision not to know cos I can't be swayed by something I don't know), anyone who thinks I married my husband cos of potential must be on drugs. Potential to do what, please? When I don't know where you're going to, how and why will I follow you? I'm not that brave, biko. I can't be telling a man whose future I don't have any idea of, that I believe in him. Not wasting my belief, mbok. What a lot of men don't understand is that just because they're not yet seeing something in themselves, doesn't mean it's not there. Some of us that marry certain men, na we know wetin we see and hear from inside prayer closet wey God use bring out the "Yes" from us.

    2. Lol. Is it in your Bible? There is NO marriage that is bliss all the way. Even the ones that God arranges by Himself are not smiles all the way. Anyone who says otherwise is LYING to you.

Mary married Joseph who was obviously a man of God. You can't be pregnant before marriage and saying it's the Holy Spirit, and be blissful.

Elizabeth married Zechariah who was definitely a man of God. There is nothing blissful about being barren. Ask Hannah (mother of Samuel), whose husband loved her despite her not having children.

Okay, those were Bible days. Go and ask Aity Dennis Inyang whose husband is a man of God how blissful it was to be childless for 20+ years. Ask the wife of Rev Don Odunze the same question - 17yrs without children. The Bamiloyes sef will tell you it hasn't been bliss all through, I know this cos I've read some of their interviews before now. But y'all like to believe rubbish that God didn't say. Man of God that can annoy you to the point where you'll be like, "God, are You sure this husband You gave me is okay? Fix Your son cos if I answer him the way it's doing me, it's dead ancestors on both sides that will be brought to settle us."

Talmabout blissful all the way. With flesh and blood, in this world? Not possible. The only thing about marrying a wo/man of God that is your own is you have a guarantee that anything that happens will not consume you, not that nothing will happen.

    3. Correct @ Sochim. That's the summary of everything.

When you marry a man with the fear of God you can struggle with him without the fear of being abandon for another woman in the future when he eventually makes it.

    4. OA take it easy, no one is fighting with you. Sochim shared her view, you DON'T have to accept it.

    5. 13:20 leave her nau. Very combative and petty human. Always fighting with herself. Keypad warrior. In her world of illusion, she is the only one with sense and you must accept her warped view by force or by fire.

Her examples sef no gel. Simply because someone did not have a child on time means they didn't have a blissful marriage? Or because they went through marital challenges at some point automatically takes away the bliss they experience every now and then?

**There once was a King who promised to give a prize to the artis

t who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The King looked at all the pictures, but there were only two he really liked and he had to choose between them.

One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror, for peaceful towering mountains were all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.

The other picture had mountains too. But these were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky from which rain fell and in which lightening played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all. But when the King looked, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest… perfect peace.

Which picture do you think won the prize?

The King chose the second picture. “Because,” explained the King, “peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace

BASED ON THIS, THE BAMILOYES HAS A BLISSFUL MARRIAGE AND SOCHIM IS RIGHT.

P.s i know you will read this OA because you are extremely petty and have overbloated self esteem. You think you know everything your statement is always full of ready to attack everyone. I am sure you dont have friends in real life with this your oversabi behaviour and if you do, trust me they dont like you.

    6. Lol 13:52 Keep telling yourself whatever it is you wrote. I admit I didn't read most of it BTW. My eyes glazed over after the first line. Were you trying to upset me or was there actually anything sensible in what you wrote? If there was, ah well. If you were trying to upset me, you no reach. Especially with the fantastic news I got this morning.

Gates, it's not MY opinion I gave. It's Bible. I don't even like it, but it is what it is.

    7. Trying to upset you ikwakwakwa. No, you aren't worth any effort.

It is just what you are and I see people insult you every time based on how you comment senselessly and at first I was perturbed but with time I realised you are actually incorrigible. I also didn't read your comment to the end just a few lines so it doesn't matter if you do the same, Trust me "I believe you". I wasnt trying to upset you are upsetting enough and if you are like this online then you must be a pain offline to those you come across on a daily basis.

Gates wasnt even talking to you nor did he acknowledge you, he jumped over your comment and commended sochim but no, you had to call his name into this.

Oh well! Keep being blind to your ways.
      Your flaws, your cross.

    8. OA, a little humility goes a long way. I hope you will take some time to reflect on that. Just my 2 cents.
