  8. I was born in the wrong country. Human beings like us. Thinking outside the box.

    1. Don't say "we" say I. What are you doing to change the world? Lazy youth blaming his/her birth country. You should be ashamed of this your comment.

    2. Good point. But I am entitled to my anger. I conduct research and have made intellectual contributions in my field. I am inspired by innovative technology and not a lot has been done about that in my birth country. I could be indifferent but I am angry. My anger is valid.

    4. Corruption is the cancer that has stopped innovation in Africa. Even when those developed and innovative countries still practice corruption themselves they always want to live in a functional and orderly society, so they ensure that they do the things to keep things running smoothly. The average Nigerian/African politician have no care about such things. The greed in African leaders is too much and keep Africans 100yrs behind the rest of the planet. Imagine a Governor's wife going to commission a 'tippy tap' in 2019 at a school as though it was the most innovative thing since slice bread. Africa, the most mineral rich continent on the planet should be the wealthiest and most secure and technologically advanced place and all its citizens should be living the life of being on a mineral rich continent. The African man has no strategy in anything, always waiting on someone else doing something so he can follow. All the monies the colonizers sent through their "aid to Africa" and none of it used to enrich Africans and make them a force to reckon with. Now money is getting tight and even the colonizers are not as free handed as once before. We got an extremely talented Nigerian computer scientiest who was able to break into a major US government system and give his friends and family US citizenship, why is someone like this not in Nigeria driving innovation in the country? writing codes and building databases to propel the country to a new level of technological advancement. You have so many talented and mentally agile citizens whose only dream is to go to a colonizer nation, because there is nothing to hold them to their own country. The colonizers still winning 500 yrs later. They not coming with slave ships, now they are coming with their offers of education scholarships, work permits, and job offers, doing the same shit their ancestors did 600 yrs ago, take Africans from Africa to go build their empires and keep their countries running under the guise of providing opportunities while the best and the brightest minds are depleted from the continent, while the governments and companies turn to hire outside experts who do not look like the local ppl because they supposedly cannot find skilled people locally. The fckry in Africa is like no place else.
