Nigerian Govt Orders Release Of Sowore And Dasuki....

The Federal Government has ordered the release of former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki and convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore.

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, disclosed this in a statement released on Tuesday.

Malami said the decision to release Sowore and his co-accused was in compliance with the bail granted the duo by the court.

“The two defendants are enjoined to observe the terms of their bail and refrain from engaging in any act that is inimical to public peace and national security as well as their ongoing trial which will run its course in accordance with the laws of the land,” the statement read in part

Sowore has been in custody of the Department of State Service, DSS, since August 2019 when
he called for a revolution against the current government ..

    2. The POTUS spoke and Nigeria must obey. I thought Lai Mohammed was forming what I don't know.. Nigeria will always beg America for financial aid, so they must listen to them.

  3. This Government, is not a Democratic one. It feels like we are in a Military regime, with several decrees in place. If You are in the opposition party and you sneeze, you get locked up.
How can a reasonable government, that’s is fair lock up someone without a fair trial for this long? Well, thank goodness they will be released. I hope it’s not mere press statements.

    1. The major issue is that the government has to start obeying the courts, despite the personality involved. We are not in a military dictatorship, though it appears so these days.

  11. They were compelled to do that by American government else they won't have released them. "Sowore should not sleep in detention come Christmas" was the order to Nigeria.

Don't forget the Attorney General denied receiving any letter from America government and less than 24hrs he made those claims and lies he ordered for their release. Can you now add one and two together.. Very deceitful people in government. I wish they refuse or say no to it.
