Senator Dino Melaye Loses Senatorial Seat To Senator Smart Adeyemi

All Progressives Congress (APC); Senator Smart Adeyemi has emerged victorious at the Kogi West senatorial district election which held on Saturday, November 30. He defeated Dino Melaye in the process.





The Returning Officer of the election, Professor Olajide Lawal, announced the results between Adeyemi and Melaye.

According to him, Adeyemi polled a total of 88,373 votes to beat Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Equally important, Dino Melaye polled 62,133 votes.
