Angelique Kidjo Dedicates Grammy Award To Burna Boy

Legendary singer Angelique Kojo On Sunday won the 2020 Grammy award for the best World Music Album..
This is her 4th Grammy win.





She won with album titled Celia ..

In the category she won are Burna Boy, Nathalie Joachim, Altin Gun and Bokante .....

Angelique Kidjo dedicated it to Burna Boy in recognition of the his hard work and talent.


Dedicating the award to him in her acceptance speech, she said: "This is for Burna Boy. Burna Boy is amongst one of those young artists that come from Africa that is changing the way our continent is perceived, and the way African music has been"

  4. Her speech was so mature and her dedicating it to burna really showed her compassion and respect for good music creating a name for africa music....i really wanted burna to bring this home๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ

    it would have been great and a huge stepping stone for other artist here,but all the same we go hard again and i know burna being nominated and coming so close will only motivate others to top thier game , and in less than 2 years i see a nigerian A list musician bringing it home๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

      Her latest album Celia moved through the ranks to peak at 8 on bill board and while burna’s peaked at 104.

  10. I hope what happened to femi kuti doesn't happen to him. Femi got nominated so many times but never won. At a point he even stopped attending the event cos he saw it as a waste of time.

I nor know say na ogene music dem want. Yete dey smell. They should just own up that tgey rrally could care less about this category and they just picked the most familliar bame to them.
