Coronavirus Kills 41 People In China And Spreads To More Countries....

China has revealed that 41 people have died from the new coronavirus that has infected more than 1,300 people globally, and health authorities around the world scramble to prevent a global pandemic.

The total number of confirmed cases in China now stands at 1,287, the National Health Commission said in a statement on Saturday.

The death roll has risen from 26 reported on Friday. All the latest deaths occurred in Wuhan, the epicentre of the outbreak that has been in virtual quarantine as China scrambles to contain the virus spread.

The vast majority of the cases and all of the confirmed deaths to date have been in China, but the virus has also been detected in Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Nepal, France and the United States.

Human-to-human transmission has been observed in the virus, which health authorities believe to have originated in a market in Wuhan that traded illegally in wildlife.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the new coronavirus an “emergency in China” this week but stopped short of declaring it of international concern.

However, the virus continues to spread globally.

Wuhan, a city of 11 million and the capital of central Hubei province, is in virtual lockdown.

Nearly all flights at Wuhan’s airport have been cancelled and checkpoints block the main roads leading out of town. Authorities have since imposed similar lockdowns on more than 10 cities near Wuhan as part of the ongoing containment effort.

  9. They should channel their anger on Bill Gates and his foundation.

They were experimenting and making research on some new vaccines.
Did you guys know the place this research were taking place? It was at the same city in China where the Corona virus was first diagnosed (ground zero)
They knew what they are doing.

By the way, more than 600 people have died but, China being China will always try to save face and reduce the number of victims.

The world health and UN want it to become a world epidemic that is why they refuse to declare it an emergency situation that needed to be contained immediately.

Are you aware that more than two cities are on lockdown over there?
That will never gets to the media.

My best man lives and work in China and I get all the news through him and his friends.

It is better to get your news from the locals instead of the not so trusted news media.

  10. Nigeria needs to place Public Health Officials at all International Airports and screen people coming in from China before we get into serious trouble. May God help our medical practitioners.

It is very important that Nigerians take this virus outbreak seriously. Our government and health officials should not listen to world health organisation or the UN. I no longer trust them.
