Former Coach Samson Siasia Begs Nigerians For 250,000 Euro To Enable Him Defend Himself Over FIFA Ban

Former Super Eagles Coach Samson Siasia has in a short video made a passionate appeal to Nigerians to donate 250,000 euros to enable him defend himself and hopefully overturn the life time ban placed on him by FIFA.

He said in the short video: "Good day Nigerians, my name is Samson Siasia. I am coming to you at a very difficult time of my life and career. I need to raise the sum of 250,000 euros. That's a lot of money. So l am appealing to all well-meaning Nigerians, the sports loving Nigerians to come to my aid for me to use this funds to defend myself against FIFA. We have this calculation, if 200,000 people can give 500 naira each, we could be able to reach our target. I wanna thank you as you do this. God bless you".

Siasia was banned from participating in all football match by FIFA in 2019:It was a life ban after he was found guilty of accepting bribes in order to manipulate matches.

  4. What happened to the bribes he collected, he should use it. Imagine 200,000 people donating 500 each as if he gave them N500 to keep for him.

    5. Deeza, is it not what i was talking about the other day they were trolling Red Vigor? Someone is in this sort of condition & u are adding fuel to his plight. Some people will be behaving as if they don’t use blood in their system .All the same, the likes of Dangote ,FO & some Nigerians who enjoyed his service while it lasted will definitely come to his aid. No body holy.

  5. He must be joking! That is about N95m which he could use to better his life that he wants to go use and pay lawyers. Must he coach? What of all the salaries he earned as a footballer and as a coach? Didn't he save? His problem sha. So everyone with career challenges should come online to beg.

  9. Samson has paid his dues and he shouldn't end his coaching career this way.
That is the lesson that these pro players abroad should learn. Especially those of then that are showing off houses and cars on social media. A time might come when you come hat in hand begging same people you are trying to pepper. 🧢🧢
