Imo State Deputy Speaker Has Resigned!

On Tuesday January 21,2020,the Imo State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker, Okey Onyekanma who is a PDP Memeber,resigned his positions in the legislative arm of the state’s government.

    Hope is playing mind game here. The same way Rochas did. Nobody wants to impeach him. He has promised house members who are ready to defect to his party key positions. APC doesn't have a house member. AA has 8,Apga has 4 members . So they need atleast 1 pdp member to move to APC and Apga n AA members will all move to APC then they will take over the house of assembly . I pity Imo state.

    I'm just reading the comments and wondering if one has to resign from his position to move to another party. I don't think so. Remember Saraki changed parties while on his post.

    My first thought when i saw this post was that maybe he is being blackmailed to resign or he resigned in protest of the change in governors

    Very crooked Okey oyekamma.. he is declaring for APC by the weekend or next week. I heard from his PA. He will ruin himself, I heard APC has promised him speakership after the fight next week, it will be bloody in imo state from the next 2 weeks. Hope thinks he can reenact DSS Senate Abuja takeover of 2018 in imo state, it will be bloody and he will run this time
