In a unanimous judgement read by Justice Sylvester Ngwuta on Monday, the court held that the challenger, Abba Yusuf of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), did not show that the Court of Appeal and the Election Tribunal were wrong in their earlier rulings of Ganduje being the democratically elected governor of the state.
The seven-member panel said the appeal had no merit and dismissed it.
*Ganduje appears untouchable

DeletePlease be intelligent in your criticism. PDP Tambuwal held against APC Ahmed.
Let's also remember that PDP won against APC in Zamfara and APC was not allowed to contest in Rivers. Let's discuss with data and not childish sentiments please.
If I remember vividly on that election day, PDP won but it was declared inconclusive. A rerun conducted and Ganduje rigged his way in. I lost hope in Nigeria judicial system and as such I wasn't expecting anything less than what we have seen so far.
ReplyDeleteTruly, there was a country.
Hmmm. Won but declared inconclusive. Please reconcile this statement of yours Teejay. It can't be both!
