ReplyDeleteNot true. I don't believe. Was it announced on TV?
ReplyDeleteOr this is Photoshop as usual.
It's not yet in circulation or made official but soon I believe it will.
DeleteSome printed fake currency and took it to the bank to deposit . The video has been circulating for a little over 4 days now . You can hear one of the bank staff talking about the situation .
DeleteTeejay, please stop forming "woke".
DeleteI already addressed the genesis in a post below. However, saying it's not in circulation yet but soon without a date is same as our fake prophets do when stating likely happenings without dates.
Every nation at one point or another rebrands their currencies. As of today, this hasn't been brought up with any regulatory bodies.
Stop the conspiracy theories oga TJ

ReplyDeleteIt looks like plastic, me i dont believe dis
ReplyDeletePlease be guided everyone. A man printed the fake currencies to the tune of 17m naira and tried to deposit in a new generation bank (name deliberately withheld). Ofcos he was apprehended and became erratic and incoherent. Some felt he was mad as there are no currencies of that amount in Nigeria but some felt he was acting.
ReplyDeleteI believe he was not acting though as even the notes (paper) and colour looks unreal even from pictures.
Second and most importantly, the CBN will announce any changes. Please let's continue to use our brains when commenting.
Let's continue to use our brains when commenting. Volume please for people with government-hating cotton wool in their ears.
DeleteYep
DeleteThank you, a lot of people don't use their brains before making comments here and it's alarming.. I don't know how people believe things like this when CBN has never made mentioned of new currency.
DeleteSo many dull people with smartphone.
Movie , printed money for movie production
