  9. So true... Sometimes I can't even recognize myself in the mirror. I look like a totally different person. My face is so dark, my nose has gotten bigger, I can't stand the smell of meals that I used to really like. I force myself to eat because of my baby. Bitter kola and few drops of lemon in water has been my best friend since the beginning of this pregnancy but, in all.. I'm so grateful for this blessing after two miscarriages. I can't wait to meet my baby. God is good

  12. Maybe I'm the only one with no sign except tender boobs. Bvs abeg, is it normal to not throw up, spit, have smooth face and everything during pregnancy? My doc says its okay but I keep wondering. Its the first trimester. I'm afraid to be excited

  13. How true is this myth of washing clothes on delivery date.
I use to hear alot of it growing up.With my first pregnancy,my sister had stomach ache so she could not wash that week,so on Friday morning we had light very early in the morning so I woke up,packed all the cloths out, separated them and started washing it batch by batch with the washing machine.
When I was done,I ate and in the evening I went for my usual walk,my people by the time I got back ,I took my bath and contractions started.

With my second also,I usually walk twice daily ,Morning and evening. After walking that morning and I got home ,I met light again and decided to make use of it.I was not even done before it started again.

So with my two pregnancies I did the laundry.

    1. Anon 11:47,it is called labor nesting instinct(desire to get the home ready for the new baby)Not Everyone Experiences Nesting.

Some women may experience this months before delivery of the baby, other women may have burst of energy just a few days before the baby is born.

Nesting instinct is strongest in the third trimester coming up to delivery.
